Used to enjoy the satay sold by an old Chinese couple at old airport road hawker ctr. The gravy’s texture is fine, tasty and has pineapple puree or whatever you call it added. Unfortunately, I guess they have retired for good.

the Chinese stall at Bedok hawker ctr (Upper Changi) also not bad. But the quality has consistency issue. There were days the gravy was courser than usual and certain days when the meat could be very tough.

Is it the only one in the whole hawker centre, near to the money changer?

Exploring Chinatown food complex in Smith Street recently, I found Shi Xiang Satay at the green zone.  It has a bit of a history, starting biz in 1955!  Now manned by the 2nd gen son, this Hainanese satay will not burn a hole in your pocket, as each stick is less than S$1... and the best part is that the gravy includes pineapple sauce which is a rarity.  I like it.  Try it and let me know! 🤩
