B&B Homestay Deluxe Room at AMK

Hi there guys,

My Home is a Spacious 1,400sq.ft. Designer 5-Room Hdb Apartment on the 10th floor.

Location: AMK Avenue 1 (560221)

The B&B Homestay shall be available from the 23rd August 2024.

 

The tenancy is on a six(6) month renewable term. (0.5mth security deposit)

Professional Tenants Are Preferred.

 

A Good D.I.Y. Breakfast is Inclusive. 
- Bread, Butter, Cereal, PB & Jam, Milk, Tea and Coffee.

 

The B&B Homestay Room is a Double-Bedroom size: 10 x 16 ft, with Teak hardwood floor and Furnished with:

 

1) Excellent SEALY King-Size Bed with a Posturepedic Mattress & 4 Pillows,
2) Built-in 8-Door Full-Height Wardrobe, 2 drawers with locks, clothes hangers, 
     plus Extra Storage Overhead for three Luggage Bags,
3) Writing Desk with 24in LED Monitor+ HDMI cable input for your laptop, Creative ZEN Bluetooth Speaker, High-back chair, 
4) 1Gbps High-Speed Fibre Wireless Broadband-LAN and WiFi (work from home enabled),
5) 10k BTU, Toshiba Air-Conditioner and Table Fan with Remote,
6) Electrical Multi-Pin Adapter with USB,
7) Full-Length Mirror and Hair-Dryer,
8 ) Good Quality Clean Sheets, Bath Towels, Shower Gel and Shampoo, Toothpaste, Shaving Foam, Cotton Buds, Bog Roll.
9) Laundry bin, Laundry Detergent and Fabric Conditioner,
10) I have a spare EZ-Stored Value Public Transport Card, just top-up & use.(for Foreign Internship Students)
11) The Bedroom Door Has A Lock for your Privacy,
12) You will be issued with a set of main-door keys, to come and go as you please,
     Please do be responsible and not let strangers in, for our safety.

 

Bathroom:

The Bedroom doesn't have an en-suite, but a nice clean & bright private bathroom for your use. 
The Bathroom has WET and DRY AREAS, please know how to use it accordingly,

otherwise you would be unsuitable as a guest in my home.

Please understand these Safety Concerns are to prevent anyone slipping on the Polished Marble floor outside.

There is an electrical multi-pin socket with USB, for your shaver, powered-toothbrush, smartphone, etc.

 

You'll also have use of the shared facilities:
1) 12kg Washing Machine and 6kg Clothes Dryer,
2) Steam Iron, Ironing Board,
3) Microwave oven,
4) Refrigerator, Kettle, 
5) Dining and Living room, you don't have to be cooped up in the bedroom all day... LOL.

    This is a Homestay  after all. 🙂   but keep it tidy after use !

The surroundings of my neighbourhood:  
1) ActiveSG Gym within 2minutes, Public Pool, BBQ pits, Badminton Open Court, Jogging track,
2) Newly renovated Hawker Center just in front of the block,
3) Plenty of shops, groceries and eateries, 24-hour Supermarket & Cheers,
4)  AMK-MRT  - Loop-Feeder Bus Number: 262 that takes just 9minutes to reach or

5)  Bishan-MRT or Mayflower-MRT - Bus Number: 71 that takes 9mins to reach.
4) Peaceful surroundings of Bishan Park just across the road for exercise or to relax and unwind.

 

The Room Rate and what it includes:
1) The Deluxe Room Rate is based on S$1,750.00 per month. (negotiable if needed)
2) Free high speed 1Gbps LAN and WiFi
3) Free weekly cleaning of common areas and bedroom
4) Free utilities based on max 2 days work from home, (discuss otherwise)
5) Free aircon servicing
6) Visitors allowed, but no overnight stay( overnight couple rate may apply, discuss)

7) No Agent Fees 

 

Interaction With Guests:

I occupy the Master Bedroom.
Your privacy is respected, if you're up for a chat over a cup of tea or beer or some wine, I'm cool with it,

or perhaps enjoy a movie nite with some friends. 
I do cook and bake sometimes, so you'd be more than welcome to join me for a home cooked meal.

 

Food wise, I'm a Multitarian... with NO Food Restrictions at all... I believe in Animal Rights too,

that all animals have the right to be tasty when cooked!  (pets excluded)
However,  if you're on a restricted  diet - Vegetarian,  I'm ok with it too.... but you need to make some

of your arrangements food wise, if you're really fussy about things.

 

My home environment is suitable for, Considerate, Open-minded Male Professional Internship Students

University Professors or Professional Working Adults.

I consider myself politically and socially rather liberal, and l would prefer someone like-minded,

reasonably tidy, responsible in picking up after themselves and who speaks English as a flatmate....

though not entirely essential, I just thought it would make for better conversation.

 

I do my part for the Environment and Recycle, please use the recycling area too.

1) Smoke and Carbon-Monoxide Alarm

2) Fire Extinguisher 

3) Oh..  Since the covid situation, I've generally implemented a NO Footwear Rule inside my Apartment,

    for our Safety and Health.

4) No Smoking in the apartment.

Some of you guys were asking what's a B&B?

It is Bed & Breakfast.

 

Therefore, my Homestay Room does include a DIY Breakfast. 

 

As I've lived in Europe, and mostly hosted Expats from Europe, so this generally an expected norm over there.
