Just wondering how many of you guys out there has an Imaginary Friends(IF)? If you do, what was your story about?

I have a mental friend, and he is my late boyfriend.  If he is "imaginary" or not, I will have to wait until I am on the other side where he is now.

Not sure about Imaginery Friend.  But I do have "Imaginery Wealth".

Isn't "imaginary wealth" dangerous?  Can this lead to unconcern with spending that ends up in bankruptcy?

For those interested, this might be an alternative to reduce noise of Imaginary Friend.

Cultivate intensely

: hobbies including physical activities and growth as a person (netflix and hook up not included)

: opportunities to help communities

Used to have an imaginary friend during my secondary school days in the 90s.

He was actually a male cartoon character (won't say which one, but he wasn't one of the X-Men!).

I just liked to imagine he was real and that we would hang out together after my school lessons were over, etc.

I fantasised about him a lot, including about how he'd help me with my schoolwork as I used to struggle with my subjects.

LOL!  I agree that when we are young our mind should be entertained with positive goals and activities, with little space for the "imaginary".

Cultivate intensely

: ideas of what is important in the world, and how to do what is important when grown up.

: pursue the learning of how to do the important things we feel passionate or at least interested about.

: complement with a chosen sport or art we want to become good at.

I had an army of imaginary friends back when i was 6 or 7... then i built a whole imaginary world for them, which i've recently learnt is known as paracosm

Thanks for teaching me a new word "paracosm".  It has not existed for long, and it is not recognized by old dictionaries.

I had a wide imagination as a child, but I don't remember having an "imaginary world", a paracosm.  It could have been interesting.  Although the real word was interesting enough to me, especially the topics I was passionate about, like technology and music.  Although ignorant, I suspect that paracosm is a trait of an advanced mind.

Not recognised by old dictionaries would explain why I only learnt about it recently. There's so many new words and stuff popping up everyday lol.. Can't even find it on Britannica

Guest Imaginery Pet Story

I have imaginery pet since my Kindergarten days and still is today.   I can easily write a book about this pet - their growing up process, their personalities, they lifestyle, their humor story, their unique feature and many things you will hate and love about them.  Ulitimately, it is a fun pet in the imagination world.   May be I should start a topic about this imaginery pet,  will that be OK for u guys?
