This year most of the contingent commanders are so handsome and good looking. Can imagine how sweaty wet they are in that uniform.

Did you notice how cutes and 'smiley' those guys were when they 'march passed' and waved as they head up into the audiences. 🥰

As cringy as it may be, I only started watching it regularly after being based overseas, usually with other Singaporeans. Most people were just there for the beer, but for some of us, it's a realization how fabulous out city really is and for just that moment, actually feel patriotic. I still do now, more with the TV on as background noise 😁 😁

plot twist - they marched to the audience n suddenly start stripping

Perhaps where I stayed I wasn’t full moon that day 😏 😈

I was just admiring how they came up with the idea of the March-pass up the audience. Suddenly realising how cute, smiley and photogenic they are. Was the timing and selection of that particular uniform group to capture and focus on pre-selected or just coincidental. 😛

it’s the case of not knowing how much it’s worth till it’s gone. I had always taken for granted too. Till one day at a Xmas gathering with FT and our chatting came to a point where each FT was giving reasons of how beautiful, safe and systematic our country was. Always taken for granted when I walk home alone way past midnite and was totally taken aback when big built male Caucasian tell me they have to be home at certain time for safety reasons.
anyway it’s the least we could do, as citizens, from the days when the March-pass was on the road outside our flats. We had it on. Especially thinking how much effort had gone towards the making. For the record, for those who don’t realise, much of it started a day after the last event. So it’s at least a year of planning, training and rehearsing.
