Not only will you get Mpox (if you're unlucky enough) but also other STDs like gonorhea, syphilis, caladymia or worse HIV. Don't think too much into it and just play safe and have fun! 🙏🙏🙏

bodybuildMLY
If you're in contact with a person who has contracted Mpox, especially in saunas whereby you will be skin-to-skin and exchange air droplets....it will be a duh situation. Simple as that.

FattChoy
If someone who has EmmPox was in a super crowded train in the subway, is the health ministry gonna ping all of them and ask them to refrain from going out? lonelyglobe
18 hours ago, cutejack said: Everyday everytime is crowded..no rush hours nowadays. Yeah, last time got peak and off peak, now only have peak and super peak.....anyway u can't really get mpox on mrt unless the two skin touch each other throughout the journey which is rather rare, beside sauna, another risk is massage especially those body to body massage. If the masseur got mpox, then good luck. Edited August 31 by lonelyglobe

Guest Fluid exchange
Actually with Mpox, does it affect crowds in KB? Not to say there's stigma, but KB really have many nude bodies, and a lot of fluid exchange. So I wonder is everyone ok?

Guys are slowly numb to the risks with every passing week with no news on mpox. When mpox (eventually and surely) strike one day, with announcement of x people contracted, quarantined, and y people tracked and traced, and that a majority of these people are from the community, all possibly traced to the saunas, then everyone here will react and guess their chances of contracting it during their previous visits. There will also be a group of people who would 'thank their lucky stars' because they have been celibate (during those critical weeks) and had escaped from the outburst. Back to the main point - any weeks or period we experienced now IS the window period for the mpox to land in Singapore and spread the amongst horny community. singalion
On 8/24/2024 at 6:42 PM, Guest 69fun said: Will I get Mpox if I visit KB ? There is a risk always. Depends if someone who travelled here or a local/ resident in Singapore who returned from overseas to Singapore being infected within the incubation period visits the sauna. Can also be someone who was infected by someone in Singapore then goes to the sauna. The issue with Mpox is that the incubation period is much longer and also the period until first signs develop. I guess someone already having all the pox probably wouldn't want to leave his house at all because of the stigma. The fever screening won't bring much resolve, because the fever from Mpox will only be around 2 - 3 days and not during the complete infection period. I see also the danger with fever screening that people having no real illness will be rejected from entry. We all know, body temperature can be hotter on times but it must not be because of any mpox, flu, cough or anything else... During fever phases most people are down, having headache and their dick probably wouldn't get very hard, don't think anyone not feeling well would then visit a sauna! If you want to be safe then do handjob at home. If you assess the risk to catch mpox in a sauna as low currently, then go.
doncoin
You can also potentially get Mpox from your household members if one of them is exposed to it. So it does not take a visit to KB. Quote Love.

Whether or not the Mpox wave is dead, is hard to tell. But the hysteria over Mpox is alive and well. Just wondering why the authorities and g@hmen primarily mention MSM demographic, when Mpox is transmissible thru contact like in squashed up MRT commuters, hotel bed linens and small pet mammals. How about kindergarten, trying clothes in department shops and massage outlets? How about doctors and nurses?
Guest I wonder
Just wondering if anyone has stopped visiting temporarily due to the surge of the monkeypox. The disease may pass to one another due to shared towels/intimacy etc. I have been stopped visiting but the temptation of seeing naked bodies is too strong😅 Is the Keybox doing some precautionary measures or any initiatives to keep this place as clean as possible? sorry if my concerns are unnecessary. A) Why do you single out just KB? Aren't all saunas affected? B) What Mpox wave? There seems to be no Mpox case Clade 1 so far. C) I don't think alcohol wipes serve anything if you engage in body to body contact with someone at the sauna... Regulars might also have engaged with other people. Maybe you check on the ways hows to contract Mpox...
Steve5380
The best protection in gay saunas, MRT, etc. etc. is to be healthy and have a good immune system. Vaccinations may help. Mpox is an inconvenience, but it is not the worst one can catch from the rest of humanity ( and from some animals) https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/22371-monkeypox

singalion
8 hours ago, Benny33 said: True true haha Statistically, the rate of immunocompromised persons within the group of homosexuals is surely much higher than in the straight population. Therefore, the new Mpox Strain under this Clade 1 imposes a higher risk for immunocompromised. Why then are homosexuals classified by WHO and most governments as a vulnerable high risk group? This has nothing to do with stereotyping or discrimination. Quoting facts is surely not any snide remark on the gay community. It is a fact as can be seen here: Why is mpox a health emergency again, and should I be worried? The Straits Times Aug 15, 2024 ... Children, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems, such as those with HIV, are all at higher risk of complications. https://www.straitstimes.com/world/explainer-why-is-mpox-an-emergency-again-and-how-worried-should-i-be Benny, also don't fall prey on those Guests who simply are just here to troll others at every corner.
