Baredom
Got to know a young adult recently who is bi-curious and has dabbled a little bit in the gay world. I wondered what the curiosity is all about and what drives it. He said that the current state of affairs in the world points towards an open mind and exploration. But he’s doing so in the shadows, wary of being the brunt of jokes and labelling. In that light, what advice might you have for this young chap? Want to shield him from damage but not snuff out healthy curiosity. What say you? How can he healthily navigate this?
T Gunner
Just let him explore and learn to embrace this change… as long as we navigate on a safe tread should be fine. My curiosity lead me to who I am today and no regret getting to know people and having some fun along the way… ReubenH and mate69 1

There’s no way to shield him, he’s not gonna bring you along for his dates or ONS. lol but you can remind him of self-protection and self-care while exploring. Since he’s already young “adult”, he should learn to be responsible for his own choices. how to navigate safely? Ask him come bw and read through everything to learn more about the circle before he jumps in. 1. Be upfront with others about his orientation so others know where/when to stop. 2. Must learn to reject and say no when he is uncomfortable. 3. Always insist on safe sex. inexperience, T Gunner, Baredom and 3 others
Baredom
Some of the comments in overall forum is quite caustic. Some are absolutely unnecessary. Need wisdom on which to heed and which to disregard
bigboyclubsg
i think a good piece of advice is for him to NOT unfairly judge himself or apply any twisted internalised homophobia to his exploration. it's a new journey, so embrace it.

Good advice. On his part, there’s little homophobia or the like but public opinion, I guess, could be an influence. Thanks for the input. bigboyclubsg
