Singapore Writers Festival

Anyone here who attends the writers festival?

First attended in 2011 when it became an annual event instead of biennial. Memorable events featured Jimmy Liao, SR Nathan, Pico Iyer, and Hanya Yanagihara's packed event at the Arts House Chamber. Have lapsed for a couple of years, so this year attending. What are some of your fav events so far? What are you attending for this year?

for me it's always nice to support fellow artistes and writers at the festival while learning some really cool insights/tidbits about the industry/community.

I agree. 

 

The temptation to showcase 1 or 2 heavy-weights to draw in the Crowd isn't gonna work. 

 

TBH, 

I just started on my auto biography. Hope to find publishers at the festival. I considered Amazon or other online publishers, but best if printed here & hardcopy. Wish me luck=0)
