Could it be that these massage sessions give a better feeling of going for something healthy like massage, with just an incidental good feeling of "happy ending",  instead of needing to satisfy the vicious sex?   And paying for massage is natural, while paying for sex is... shameful?

I also understand that age plays a factor, more elderly are not getting the sexual attention as in the past.
