I often get asked if I’m working from home when I on this forum - what’s up with that?

 I don’t know about anyone else here but I’m on this forum for the purpose of hooking up. There will be times I seek for advice and what not but solely for hook ups 

only thing I don’t get most times whenever I post something on the personals topics - I get asked if I’m working from home. 
why?

When I post anything on the personals - i will highlight that I do host. 
I just find it strange of all questions - I get “WFH?”

I mean if I’m working I wouldn’t be on this site 

and IF I am working from home or in the office - I don’t have to respond if I’m working.. “oh by the way I’m working and I’m just trying to find a hook up while at I’m at it” shoot myself in the foot? No thanks.

i guess they asked maybe because you hookup with people during office hours. Or Maybe they are working from home and they wonder if you are working form home too?

They ask coz maybe most gays prefer to play with white colar. Wfh means holding good position . That's why they ask. U tell them u run a business. No need to go office one. End of the day just log in online banking n check bank balance only. And see what happens.  Yr apps or inbox beep like crazy.

The conventional belief that you should not be somewhere other than in the office 9–5 Monday–Friday has indoctrinated the majority of people.  When you are not working and are wandering around in shopping centers or public spaces during business or office hours, people frequently give you a nasty look before quickly checking their watches to see why you are so unproductive at that time and in that process they wanted you to take notice too.  They refused to understand that not all people are slaves of routine working hours because some people work as freelancers, while others are free during such hours either deliberately or involuntarily.  Some work odd hours like shift jobs, and others are happily retired.   Unfortunately, majority of 9-5 loyalist lack the ability to think beyond their basic understanding of the working society and instead opt to act stupid.  I would ignore them, or smile in their face with pity and I want them to take notice of that too.

Looking at all the questions that Singaporeans tend to ask for any hookup I wouldn't even wonder much about such a question whether you work from home or are at an office.

 

Let's assume it is simply to check whether you are available on short notice.

There are guys who have off days during the week or shifting work hours, if you then work from home they can meet you for fun.

If you tell them you don't they would probably move on and look for another fun partner.

It could be also that the guys are more inclined to find a regular sex partner.

 

Eventually, you're just too sophisticated in looking at the question and have too much thought about it.

Quite contradictory your initial statement to what you later write.

 

You say they are generally nice but then you quote the conversations which you consider not nice (or rude).

 

Actually, from my personal experience in Singapore most hook up convos start with "Seek?" / "Free now?" / "Stay where?" / "Alone?" / "Can host?"

Even worse: "Dick pic" / "Fuck me".

 

Sure there are some who make an effort to write full sentences or chit chat on some topic.

Such as: "Hey, how is it going?" or refer to the weather or something else.

 

Personally, I don't mind the longer chit chat guys, unless they start disclosing something you wouldn't like but at least they make an effort.

 

I guess on the WFH question, it was just an uttered assumption by the guy because maybe it was during the usual office hours and someone is on the app.

Not everyone has the chance to open or read these dating apps during work, either too busy or colleagues just sitting next to your neck.

Probably with less witty comments and shorter sentences (if full sentences at all) you get a higher share of fun on any hook ups here.

Mostly, I recommended them to reduce using particular high class English words and to make it as simple as possible.

Westerners (in particular talkative Australians) are just used to have a more flowery "powerful" language even on sex dating chats.

But WFH adults should be the total minority as most adult guys would work in an office.

People here don't have a certain shyness to ask on age.
