I regard this as hate speech against the LGBT community and am appalled that we are not protected against it.

English translation:
She says she is Chen Liying, a Yishun resident who originally intended to vote for the PAP. In fact, she was even designated a "friend of the PAP" by PM Lawrence Wong. However, now she questions her MP, Minister K Shanmugam, about his support for LGBT rights and even some Opposition candidates from Sengkang. She points to the photo in which a little girl's hand is held by an election candidate and is appalled to think that an LGBT-supportive candidate could be holding her other hand.
She says that supporting homosexuality will be destructive to future generations of Singaporeans and their way of thinking. She reminds her audience that the late PM Lee Kuan Yew said that our neighbours were not friendly, naming Malaysia and Indonesia who are also against homosexuality. She says Section 377A should be reinstated and that only those over 21 should be allowed to attend Pink Dot. She says were are indulging in self-destruction if we support gays and lesbians. Which mother would want her children to be gay?
She says all election candidates should make known their position on LGBT rights so that voters can protect their future generations, and not just to attract votes.

Good Lord! Before I hit play, looking at the video still, I thought she is a lesbian serving Yishun heartland realness with her pasar malam fashion. 

 

After playing and listening to what she has to say, she is just ignorant. No point engaging with people who are invincible in their stupidity.

I agree with that... So much of what she says is so logically garbled and that tone of melodramatic grandstanding adds to the ludicrousness of it all. I believe people in a democratic society should be allowed to express their personal views - all viewpoints are valuable insights into how individuals are shaped and what may be causing lapses of judgement within certain communities. Do we need to be protected against such instances of homophobia? I don’t think we as a community are so weak that we need to be. 
 

But her saying that she was personally selected by Lawrence Wong for ‘Friends of PAP’ is typical of such narcissistic thought. Also that talk about NS - lady please sit down you didn’t have to go through shit. And he moment she used the phrase 一生出来 (from birth) she’s acknowledging homosexuality isn’t a choice whether you like it or not, so she needs to learn to deal with it.

It's okay if she hates us, but at least say it politely instead of seeming like she's a jerk.  Her self-staged performance didn't work, and if Shamugam had been there, I don't think she would have the courage to confront him on this matter. I've seen enough of these insane people who are terrified of authority figures.

 Does she aware that pink dollar also contributes to the economy as well. What on earth she rambling about homosexuality and does she know every belief back AC and BC BC is in this world. We don't want to be what we are as I believe we are the chosen ones I find people like us very good at what we in to. Especially things got to do with creative work like in designing, pastry chef/gourmet, hospitality and etc. I belief we born to add color to the world or else it will just plain like a piece white canvas. No point for talking about other people families as you never know may your part of families be it immediate or distance relatives. Plus the new generation we pass out straight men. As I belief one finger you point on other 3 finger pointing back. The moment you talk ill about other people children gay you never know that your son or daughter is as karma is bitch. I am gay this particular idiot of my relative condemning gay as we went out for gathering outside together. As he opened his mouth about my fellow gender, I feel like to put my big fist inside in my mouth.
