Recently, in "Rich Partner" topic, someone mentioned about the movie "Indecent Proposal" ... actually it is very nice movie which I intended to recommend.

Have you ever questioned yourself ? How much will you "sell" yours ?

Indecent-Proposal.jpg

But after watching this movie, I discover one thing

"If you want something very badly... set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours forever. If it doesn't, it was never yours to begin with"

"My cheating boyfriend" topic is currently HOT in Forum so I would like to share some movies I like which also tells us about how and why people do it ... even straight couples ...

"Little Children" with Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson.

littlechildren.jpg

The love affair between the adulterers was charming and real.

Brad (Patrick Wilson) is a househusband caring for his little boy while feebly preparing for his previously failed bar exams. He has a gorgeous but emasculating wife, Kathy (Jennifer Connelly) who's a successful PBS-style documentary filmmaker. Sarah (Kate Winslet), with an MA in English, in charge of a recalcitrant little girl with whom she has little patience at times, has a well-off distant husband (Gregg Edelman) who's a pretentious adman who gets off on Web pxxn. Sarah and Brad meet in a park where moms take their kids, in East Wyndham, Massachusetts. They wind up kissing when they first meet, mainly to shock the other moms.

Both of them have their own families so how will this story go and end ? Let's watch it, really nice movie to recommend :thumb:

How are relationships going in America ? Does it look like the ones in "Closer" ? I am not sure.

But in my thoughts, when thinking about American relationships, I always think about this movie. It, relationship, is simple and complicated, it is beautiful but also weird sometimes, it can be everything but also like nothing ...

With great cast to give you great acting but story comes together to make the film perfect.

closer.jpg

If you happen to have just finished with a relationship or been cheated on recently I would highly advise to bring your heart ready for rampage or lots of tissues but its depth is so provocative that you leave the theatre with so many questions about your own personal life - which personally is what makes the difference between a basic movie and a magical one that literally makes one believe you're watching a true story.

Natalie Portman has reached a level of maturity that was truly surprising and I love her characters in this movie, I learnt it. Because if I love someone deeply even it is just Love at the first sight, I possibly can leave everything to go with him but once his feeling to me is unsure or love me less than I do or worst is cheating me ... then I will decide to disappear, to leave everything and start a new life ... as Natalie Portman ... will you do the same ?

If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking

La finestra di fronte (Facing Windows).

Facingwindow.jpg

The reason I bought this movie was the Italian actor, my dream man, so so so so so so handsome Raoul Bova but end up I have great movie with good story. Nothing can complain about the cast, handsome guys + beautiful woman.

The message of this movie ? Follow your passion, follow your heart and you will have no regrets. Something that really made me think was the line Davide said to Giovanna- " You have turned your passion into a hobby. You should never do that with a talent" So finally Giovanna finds her true love- her liberation from a life she no longer loves

How often do you find the right person?

once.jpg

"Once" is slow movie but very romantic . A simple story of a street musician in Ireland, singing covers during the day for Euros, and his own music at night for cents. Approached by girl, an immigrant, who loves his songs, understands the pain that gave them life, and soon they are in a music shop with the girl playing the piano and together they prove that art isn't produced from big budgets.

Yes, as the taglines of this movie "How often do you find the right person?"

Have you guys ever asked yourself this question ? Sometimes, I just wish I would have met the guys in another time, theguys in another situation then may be I can have him, we can go further or I can keep him for me ... but life is very real, it goes on without waiting for you to be mature ... because it only gives you "once" in your life ...

Can you cheat The Death twice ?

By chance I watched the Final Destination Part 2 first with my cousin and we were so impressive about it then I tried to look for the Part 1. It is so interesting in term of Horror Movies but also very logic. Since then whenever I check-in at airport and waiting for the air plane taking off ... I always feel scared :yuk:

I know this movie was shown on Channel 5 MediaCorp but it was censored too much. You must watch the original version

Wish you guys like it ;)

That's my fav movie too.. Part 4 going to release this aug.. Can't wait for it..

Thanks for your information ... I am looking to seeing it soon

I watched it also, it is nice to know that White people also believe in this kind of things while we, Asian, believe in different way ...

The Ring, I prefer American version with Naomi Watts and the most scary scene was the girl crawling out from TV ... I just turned off my TV after writing this line :P

If you like horror/thriller movie, may be you will like SAW. It is logical and I like Part 4 most.

Part 5 was released already.

Just saw this movie, and it was rather disappointing.

The movie picked up from end of part I, where Autobots formed a alliance with Army to rid of remaining decepticons. Sam was preparing for his collage but an accidental contact with the fragment of all-spark granted him with the knowledge of the ancients robots. Megatron was revived and another leader, The Fallen, was introduced. The decepticons wanted the knowledge inside Sam and thus another battle began...

basically all i can say is, for an action movie, this movie didnt disappoint, almost everything that can be blown up did, very typical Michael Bay's style. However that's about the merit of the movie. It was super loub, to hide the fact the storyline sucks.

- the "twist" in the ending was sooooo... cheesy.... it was lazy script writing at work

- the middle portion reminded me of "Da Vinci code" where the group raced across locations to look for ancient codes

- With so many robots on screen (it was reported to have 40 robots characters) this movie suffered from the X-Men movie fate. Too many cooks spoiled the soup, the robots were not given enough screen time, some robots were not even seem properly before blowing into pieces

- Sound Wave was arguely another iconic decepticon, unforunately in this movie, it was nothing more than a boring satellite...

- The newly introduce twin autobot were simply annoying with a big A

- at least the transformer cartoon movie had the guts to really killed off Optimus and passed the leadership baton to other, here it was another expected revived again...

- Michael Bay had really ran out of tricks, all camera tricks had been seen in his earlier movies, the part where sam was trapped in the house with the camera zooming 360 degree, Michael did it in his Bad Boy II movie

Overall, if you are searching a summer action movie with a lot of things blown up, this is your movie. If you are looking at a little substance in the script, sorry hopefully in Transformer III

Remember when part 1 came out everyone was being so negative and stuff on the movie, the design, the script etc, but yet it remain one of the biggest movie in the history? THis is what happen isnt it with u isnt it? U r not a very good reviewer.

We watch transformers movie for the massive robots battle, things blowing up and stuff. We r not looking for a powerful storyline, a moving script and brilliant acting. If we want those then we will watch the Readers instead. This is TRANSFORMERS and Michael Bay for christ sake! And for your info, the more robots the merrier.

will Transformer II make big bucks in the box office, i am sure it would. The Star Wars Ep I to III made big splash and yet the 3 movies were touted to be much inferior than the original trilogy.

did i say it is a bad movie, well largely depends on your viewing angle, if you are those that like to leave brain outside the theatre, or maybe you even dont have one to start with, then it is good movie solely for the visual entertainment. things get explode every other minutes, CGI filled the whole screen. Then again, with modern cinema, havent you seen it all?

Did it occur to you that the more robots were purely for commerical reason? So that Hasbro, the parent company, can sell more toys to those like you. Also the product tie-in with the major car model added to that. Hence plot and character development were literally thrown out for the sake of "the more the robot the merrier".

Are you a transformer fan to begin with? if yes, it would ache your heart to see transformer characters being redesigned to suit the commerical reason. Bumblebee was originally a beetle car (hence the name) however due to the relation with Chevy, Bumblebee changed to a chevy model.

Did it occur to you that the most a movie goes is a trilogy, and if you want character developement on every robots, what, we will have like 3 robots each on every episode? Did it occur to you that each robots that was based on the cartoon all already have their own story and developement if you watch the cartoons? The fans will surely already know about that, and watching the robot on the big screen even for a brief 5 seconds, did it occur to you how important is that to us than to you who is not a fan?

It has nothing to do with commercial reason. In the world of Transformers, the list of Autobots and Decepticons are endless. We are not happy with the small amount of robots in part 1, we want more in part 2. Thats all.

Are you a transformer fan to begin with? if yes, it would ache your heart to see transformer characters being redesigned to suit the commerical reason. Bumblebee was originally a beetle car (hence the name) however due to the relation with Chevy, Bumblebee changed to a chevy model.

I have 2 version of the Contructicons Combiners, the original and RID version, and countless of the rest. Do you think im a fan? Your heart ache was so two years ago. Get over it. Nobody talks about that issue anymore. Or did you just watch part 1 last week for the first time?

And for Christ Sake, what commercial reason you keep mentioning? The reason they have tied in with Chevrolet is because it was an American brand. Can you imagine they have tied in with Japan's Toyota or German's BMW? Of cos you cant!

And Bumblebee was not change from Beetle to Chevy because of their relation with the latter, it was because Wolkwagen refuse to associate their brand with a violent and dangerous image, and also because of the scale and size, thus Beetle was not use. Did you know anything before you assume everything was because of commercial commercial commercial?

So dont tell me you prefer Soundwave to transform into a cassette player and Megatron to a gun?

Your reviews are not professionals and based on wrong facts that you think is correct. Dont underestimate other people who knows more than you.

you sure you are not michael bay?

sigh...so based on your assumption:

- MOST movies are Trilogy

- Never mind the plot, as audience need to see the Trilogy for the character development and plot? even if the trilogy is gonna span 7 years apart? (Michael announced that part 3 will be in 2012)

- so in order to satisfy "FAN" like you, we just throw in as many characters inside it, never mind whether it made sense to the story, and half the time we dont even know who is the character.

you are one very forgiving viewer...

it had already reported that Hasbro had movie tied in with the car manufacturers, and you still insisted that it is not due to commerical reason?

I seriously wondered do you know transformer at all... cases in point

- Ratchet, the Autobot medic, formerly an ambulance in transformer world, but changed to Hummer H2, why? because ambulance worldwide refused to "associate their brand with a violent and dangerous image"?

- Bumblebee is Heroic autobot, how can that be "violent and dangerous image"?

- The twins Mudflap was a construction crane, here he is a Chevrolet Trax

- Jolt was a decepticon in the transformer universe, here he is a autobot Chevrolet Volt

And for Christ Sake, what commercial reason you keep mentioning? The reason they have tied in with Chevrolet is because it was an American brand. Can you imagine they have tied in with Japan's Toyota or German's BMW? Of cos you cant!

- the blue Arcee, is a blue Suzuki B-King 2008, the last i check, Suzuki is a Jap brand

- Sideways, a silver Audi R8, and that's a German...

Do you know what you are typing? or do you just wanna argue for the sake of arguement?

I dont claimed to know it all, all the above can be found in wiki...

honestly have you even watch the movie yet?

Er... excuse me. I see two very intelligent adults arguing over cartoons/toys that according to wiki was introduced by the Japanese way back in the 80's.

I don't know whether to laugh or to worry. You guys got so much time meh? :D

Now about this movie. Despite rotten tomatoes critics giving it only 20% rating, it will make tons and tons of money because not only will young teenagers go and see it, adults like the two of you, who had such sweet memories of the original Transformers will go and see it too.

It seems like both of you have a lot in common. So I suggest you guys arrange a day to meet, eat cookies together and share your toys. Maybe even kiss and make love too if the planets are aligned in the right position.

Peace.

Hey all,

My own review. Its BearBear btw.

Ok, let me 1st say that I was never a Transformer fan, Onn (Luciferbear) is a BIG fan so, what to do, when the man you love likes a movie so much you tag along to watch. We watched the 1130pm show last night at Cathy Orchard to a jammed pack full house. It was CRAZY, people were already buying tickets for sat till next week and get this, most tickets already sold off. We only manage to get seats 2 rows away from screen thats how hot the sales was.

Went to our seats and there was a cute stocky guy in gym wear sitting right in front of us..... haha, sorry side track. The show started giving some history of what happen before than it was Sam's house. Wont say what happen from then as from that moment on, it was action all the way with a few laughs too..... I was not a fan but I am a fan now.

Few spoilers here.

They added in the script President Obama & Swine Flu, these 2 events only happen after production wrap so, how did they add it in? The movie ended with half the theatre clapping and cheering, the cute stocky guy wearing a green or yellow Diadora top just sat there watching the credit..LOL side track again. We are going to watch it again later today if can.

Same here 2.

I was looking at my watch twice.

I am writing TRANSFORMER 3. Optimus Prime will try to penetrate LeBouf with his 6 foot pipe. Another Transformer comes out of the closet and falls in love with Optimus Prime. This Transformer a.k.a Fruity Pussy will try to destroy LeBouf so it can have Optimus Prime to itself. It's like Brokeback Fatal Attraction. Yes, it will be rated XXX and in 3D.

- so in order to satisfy "FAN" like you, we just throw in as many characters inside it, never mind whether it made sense to the story, and half the time we dont even know who is the character.

Why does it matter? Every character now needs a introduction to satisfy non fans and genius like you? In Lord of the Rings, did you see them give intro on every elves and ogre that appear and die in the battle? Im sorry you got confuse with the characters, but i did realize most of the main new robots have their own stories being told, namely Jetfire and Fallen.

I seriously wondered do you know transformer at all... cases in point

- Ratchet, the Autobot medic, formerly an ambulance in transformer world, but changed to Hummer H2, why? because ambulance worldwide refused to "associate their brand with a violent and dangerous image"?

A good Transformers student will know by now that what i said earlier was infact based on the truth, that Volkswagen not wanting their brand being associate with war and destruction, so they didnt give the green light for Bettlebum being a bug, but in Part 1 they did pay homage to the original by parking next to it. You should know right, cos you just watch part 1 last week? What is your point by pointing out all the movie's robot version are different from the original?

And unlike you, i dont do assumption.

- the blue Arcee, is a blue Suzuki B-King 2008, the last i check, Suzuki is a Jap brand

- Sideways, a silver Audi R8, and that's a German...

Do you know what you are typing? or do you just wanna argue for the sake of arguement?

Sometimes i really wanna give up arguing with butt head like you, that all the knowledge are solely gained in wiki. But i didnt because i feel its my duty as a true fan to educate viewers like you... And btw, the blue motorcycle is Chromia not Arcee, and Chromia is the girlfriend of Ironhide. I bet you dint know that.

honestly have you even watch the movie yet?

Dont you ever think that you can brag about seeing it first hand. Honey, you are not the only gay in bw to got invited to the premier or preview. Well, i didnt got invited, i watched it the day after (yes, im jealous, but btw, do they offers extra tickets to you, maybe you can bring me along next time, so i can educate you how to write a good movie review... hehe. please?)

It seems like both of you have a lot in common. So I suggest you guys arrange a day to meet, eat cookies together and share your toys. Maybe even kiss and make love too if the planets are aligned in the right position.

I doubt he has any transformers toys... and him being so negative in every aspects on the movie, it shall only be war not love when we meet. But if he invite me to the next premier, probably ill pretend to agree with him for like 10%. hehe.

From IMDB:

Why is Bumblebee not a VW Beetle?

Several reasons have been given for Bumblebee changing from a Beetle to a Camaro:

1.) Producers couldn't get rights from Volkswagen to use a Beetle as Volkswagen didn't want their product being associated with a violent film.

2.) Director Michael Bay told Wired Magazine he made the change because he wanted the mass of the Transformers in robot form to be believable compared to their vehicle form. Thus a Beetle would have resulted in Bumblebee being much smaller in robot form.

3.) Bay wanted to avoid comparisons to Herbie the Love Bug, and that he felt that Bumblebee needed an updated look.

4.) With the exception of Optimus Prime, ALL Auotbots are General Motors vehicles. (GMC, Hummer, Pontiac, & Chevy)

Early on in the film, we briefly see the new Bumblebee next to what is described as 'an old 1971 VW Beetle' in a nod to his past. Sam has to choose between the old yellow Beetle and the Camaro, but of course chooses the Camaro.

It's interesting to note that the Beetle in the film is actually a 1973-1977 VW Super Beetle, a very different model than the common Beetle.

Aiyoh...all this arguments... anyway I'm going to watch the movie tomorrow at Tampines. The best person to review is your own self. Everyone has its own opinion about the movie. So just go watch and see for yourself whether the movie is to your liking. If you are disappointed with the movie, then just move on and watch other movies u like. If u want you can direct your own tranformers movie to your specification. No sense arguing about it cos the movie was already made.

Major Awesomeness!

with the capital M and A!

I dont understand where all the negative reviews come from. Seriously are we even watching the same movie? Did you guys bang your head on the way to the cinema and accidently walk in the Hannah Montana screening instead? Haha. Seriously?

I mean if u ignore all the small fault like plot holes and magic dusts and "where-the-hell-is-Barricade" and "omg-they-didnt-just-killed-off-Devastator-with-a-F**king-missile", this movie is Major Awesomeness!

People are like cheering and clapping and stuff in the theather.

I think Soundwave is not boring like what Oralb said, i think its just a preview or special appearance of him on what to come next. Major that is!

And that guy in ths Straits times who give it only half stars, i think he is a "pretend" major contrarian. Think he is so special and smart writing a review like that. I suppose he thinks Legend of Chun Li is better than Transformers 2, giving it only half star?

Move over your stiff ass Megan Fox, here are the real babes stars in the movie! No its not the other girl!

From the NYTimes......

Jaws are dropping all over Hollywood: “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” opened sharply above even robust expectations on Wednesday with $60.6 million in ticket sales at North American theaters, according to Paramount Pictures.

That one-day total is more than Will Ferrell’s “Land of the Lost” and Eddie Murphy’s “Imagine That” have made in North American theaters — combined — since they opened. And it was a Wednesday.

The gear-grinding “Transformers” sequel, a co-production with DreamWorks Pictures and directed by Michael Bay, is now on track to generate in the neighborhood of $175 million in total sales by Sunday, despite generally dismal reviews. Paramount said that its exit interviews on Wednesday resulted in 91 percent of ticket-buyers saying they thought the sequel was better than or just as good as the first “Transformers” film. At the very least, the movie appears to have set a record for a Wednesday opening, beating “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” which racked up $44.2 million on its Wednesday opening in 2007.

http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2009...g-on-wednesday/

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

US $60.6 million in one day? Hmmm...how bad can this movie be if 90 percent of the viewers say it is as good or better than the first one? Any chunky Teochew with thick fingers want to watch it wif me. If the movie sucks, I can spend time playing with yours fingers instead.

Guest Michael Bay Sucks

Please apply some simple logic:

Just because you pay for a movie ticket, it doesn't mean that you like the movie.

Paying for the ticket means you are _going to_ watch the movie (unless you are buying it for someone else).

Whether or not you like the movie depends on other things, i.e. your personal taste and the movie's qualities.

Also, taste and quality are different things.

e.g. Many Singaporeans like PCK. Does it mean that PCK is of good quality? Or does this instead reflect the low level of taste of most Singaporeans?

I do share the same preference that The Ring (Jpn version) is indeed creepy & stand the test of time. For year 2009 so far, I must say "Drag Me To Hell" is a very good horror movie after countless mindless horror films over the past years ! Finally "Drag" makes me believe horror movies are still worth watching !!!

As for my overall favourites :

For year 2009 so far, it has to be "The Reader"

For all-time favourite, it has to be "Somewhere In Time" (1980)

Seriously... you guys have no need to insult each other's intelligence or mentality whether you like the movie or dislike it.

I am no Michael Bay fan, I have never watched Bad Boys 1 or 2.

I love Transformers, I was such a fan of it that just before movie 1 came out, I went to get the whole cartoon series to re-watch it so it refreshed my memory and my childhood happiness before I watched the movie.

I have an even crazier Transformers fan friend who knows and remembers every single thing from the cartoons and who has been buying Transformers toys and figurines and collects them for more than 10 years already.

And we both know the movies would so much unlike the cartoons in a lot of ways.

But guess what?

WE LOVE BOTH THE MOVIES! I watched movie 1 thrice in the cinemas, my friend watched it twice. And for movie 2, we are so going to watch it again. And like true blue Transformers fans, we discussed about the movies and the cartoons immediately after watching the movie.

So stop presuming people who love the movies are not Transformers fans, we are diehards here. We already expect it will be so much more different. And stop insulting others just because they do not share the same sentiments.

Don't you people feel just as childish as you are scolding others? Or just as bitchy as those from the AWARE saga who have little to no tolerance for us gay people?

In any case, my point is, I am a diehard Transformers fan, I dislike some of the things done in the movie, but... I LOVE THE MOVIE all the same.

Went to watch Transformers 2 yesterday with 3 of my buddies. We have to book 5 days in advance cos its almost sold out. What can I say about the movie?

I fxxking love the movie man. Full of adrenaline-pumping action, Lots of explosions and destruction, with the right dash of humour and drama. Seek and destroy...that's the motto of the story. Forget about the sub-optimal plot. Who would want to watch a violent action movie with long story lines, extended drama and love scenes possibly. It would be to draggy and boring.....Pleeeaase. Give me action anytime. What Transformers fans want to watch are autobots kicking the assess of the decepticons. It has always been the case since the cartoons... I'm glad that Michael Bay did not develop the story into a love dramatic story between the main characters. More focus on the transformers than the humans are prefered. I would want to see in future transformers movies (if any), battle in space, or in other planets...with minimal human characters...or the humans becoming transformers like in Headmasters series. That will be super cool.

For those who have not seen the movie, go ahead and watch it even if u think u may not like it. Judge the movie for yourself. Dun deny yourself the pleasure of watching it in the cinema because of the negative comments of the too "critically-thinking" people. Let your mind be numb and enjoy the mindless violent action of the movie. Shiok shiok...

For movies, I have a preference for light romantic comedies especially those starring my favourite Meg Ryan.

She is not very pretty but has got that understate charm; very suitable for roles that is bit naive and yet sophisticated.

I have seen most of her movies and "When Harry Met Sally", one of her earlier work is really a gem. :thumb:

Of cos there are also:

I dunno why people keep complaining abt the length of the movie? I mean, shouldnt viewers be happy with 2 and half hours full with actions of Autobots VS Decepticons? I mean, that was like a geek's wetdreams comes true! What wrong with u guys?

Now ive got this crazy hope that they will at least consider doing a crossover film "G.I Joe VS the Transformers" like what the did in the comic. No plots or story line or smart script necessary. The Joes and the Autobots must now join forces to stop the Decepticons and Cobra from destroying the world. MAJOR!

*EXTREME SPOILERS*

I got into watching this movie with REALLY high hopes. Which is probably what killed it for me.

I didn't hate the movie... I actually thought that it was great adding in all those Transformers 'extras'. Although after awhile, I didn't know who was destroying who... the camera movement was too fast that I really didn't catch much of the action at all, unless they were shot wide.

The pacing of the movie was right... it wasn't too slow or too fast, although I really felt that Bay should have done away with all the slow motion 'artsy' scenes. Not the slo-mo Matrix types... the other ones. Completely unnecessary. And yeah, the ending where The Primes showed up and talked to Sam... THAT WAS LAME AS SHIT. I was literally in the cinema going... 'What the f*ck is this bull?!"

I really couldn't believe it. But I got over it fast enough and then Sam resurrected Optimus. Really? Seeing Prime die was a little bittersweet for me... it's always sad to see him die (which happened a lot in the cartoons) but I was kind of hoping he'd pass the torch to someone else like he did Hot Rod in the original movie.

There were some plotholes, but I can't really remember them. I was too busy taking in the sight of robots fighting each other.

Overall, it was entertaining and I enjoyed it, but it kinda fell slightly below my expectations. I still like it, but I prefer the first one over this.

And yes... I think the best character in the movie was Wheelie. THAT LITTLE GUY IS HILARIOUS!!

Oh by the way, the part where Prime took Jetfire's parts kinda reminded me of this:

PS: Seriously, everyone has their own opinion of how good/bad the movie was. Let them have it. Giving someone reasons to like/dislike a movie is like a Televangelist preaching to a crowd of Atheists. Nothing's gonna happen... except a really long heated argument and nothing will come out of it.

PPS: THEY PLAYED 21 GUNS BY GREEN DAY WAAAAY TOO MANY TIMES.

PPPS: Is it just me, or did New Divide by Linkin Park sound a lot like What I've Done?

For those who watched the movie, list down the things u learned from Transformers....

1. Government officials are all jerks.

2. When you leave Sector 7, u can take all the files with u.

3. Sam screams like a girl.

4. National museums have no alarms.

5. Airport security wont check your metal toolbox if u have a robot in it.

6. You don't stop, you don't hide, you run.

7. Barricade is camera shy.

8. Every robot and Sam can come back to life after they died except "Jazz" (part 1).

9. Going to from earth to cybertron and back takes less than a day. (no lightyears counts involved).

10. President Obama dont like Transformers.

11. Wheelie the small radio controlled robot knows more stuff than all the Autobots combined!.

12. Decepticons can afford $40,000 tuition fees.

13. All the girls students in college are HOT and HORNY.

My personal views after watchin the movie is almost same as oralB.

Story sucks.. very draggy in the middle and esp the last part when he was doing the dun know how many mile dash to Prime.

'Sensless and cheesy storylines... the best is the Decepts catch the guy's parents as hostage right? so why did they happily "pushed" the parents towards the guy in the midst of the dash? to confuse him?

The Constructorcons part also quite lame.. ya, and i dun like the 2 twin robots.. abit nosense to me, somemore all of the sudden can break out from the gian constructorcons. The colleage friend was really unnecessary too..

Then robots can grow old one..

I am ok with action films with normal storylines, but this one abit too lousy in terms of story. Just like what i feel about Hellboy 2. No matter how good the CG and stuff is, a normal storyline is minimum to me.

jus sharing my views..

Ok, a lots of people are wondering why the hell did Sam and Gf have to run so far to Prime, like for a good half an hour, in the middle of all those dangerous terrain and ruins, fulls of decepticons, almost got killed for like 23 times, while Bumblebee can easily drive them to their destination, cos its not like he is busy or something, right?

Yeah right, as if in Episode 1, the part when Sam have to bring the heavy cube and run couple of blocks and thousands flight of stairs to the top of skyscraper without even collapsing from the fatigue, almost got crushed like 50 times from chasing decepticons, while one of the autobots can easily do the job with their lazy 50 tons ass in 2 minutes, as if its making any sense?

And all of u were saying part 1 was way better? Give 2 some love man!

Guest chill

hey guys, chill man. no need to get so heated over a movie.

I am not a transformer fan and i think the movie is ok overall. still watchable lah. highly anticipated but not as good as the previous one.

the effects and actions are good but looks messy and chaotic at times. as for the storyline, it is somewhat lacking and some scenes dun link and flow well but i dun think the movie is gone case becos of that. at least i dun think anyone will sleep during the movie.

i can only say those reviews giving it a 1/2 a star rating is ridiculous imo. i've seen worst movies that deserved that. for me i would rate the movie 3 stars out of 5.

Watched the movie today.. overall, i am impressed with the effect. The transformation is not something that you will see in other movies. Yes, there are some disappointment in certain segments of the movie.. even an oscar-nominated or oscar-winning movie will be subjected to love and hate from the audience. It's just a movie afterall.. take review with an open mind and enjoy the movie!
