Hi guys,

After reading so many good reviews abt this show, watching the trailers online n scaring myself by letting my imagination ran wild, I finally plucked up the courage to watch it just now

And I find it overrated n overhyped in terms of scariness :(

For those who find this show very scary or eerie, it means u have not watched "The Exorcist" produced in the 70s.

This is indeed a good movie but The Exorcist is still the indisputable number one.

Well, I have to say that I'm a horror movies fan and I was bored of watching those old motif of the recent horror movies but The Conjuring was an exception. It was also an old motif but it just directly hit right into the fear of people. I vote 9/10 for The Conjuring, would love to go watch again if anyone asks me hahahaha

love the movie too.

watched a midnight show so no kids or students...all adults...crowd was good

gd thing about the movie is that it evoked emotions from you (including fear), esp the part when lorraine pressed carolyn head and remind her of her memory with the family and how her family is all she has.

Watched it last night prior to hungry ghost's gate closing heh. More like the eerie background music enhancing the spine-chilling experience. The guy seated beside me was kinda tensed and sprang from his seat a few times. I received fright more of him than the movie haha. Intro phase kinda slow, other than that not bad.

Maybe organizing a lim chu kang cemetery walk at 3:07 would be nice

high frequency | biologically hazardous | penetrating

LOL, if they needed an auntie, they could have looked for Singapore's Zoe Tay?

Oh please, who would cast that box office jinx apart from the genuinely or persistently deluded??

I was dragged by friends to see Deadpool. I say "Dragged to see" as I am NO FAN of superheroes movies. Not Superman, Spiderman, Marvel comics/movies.

I came out of the cinema enjoying it. R rated, foul mouth, sense of humour, sex, get fucked by his gf, -  anti-hero.

Everything about deadpool is politically wrong. I guess that also explains the rise of DonaldTrump.

Some parts of the movies, he took a bag full of weapons to meet his nemesis. But he left the bag of guns in the taxi.  I read later that it was because the show was a "small-budget" production, the studio cut the budget and they had to cancel the gun-fight. It was a dig at the studio.

Actually these type of comedy movie has already been seen in HK's 80's movie ! Especially those Stephen  Chow's movie . Hollywood is just picking up it from HK movie style !

haha, to be fair, it's quite true to the style of the original Deadpool comics, including Deadpool speaking directly to viewers/readers, etc.

anyway, most hilarious, thinking of watching it again ! :D

i would say that i had high expectations for most movies especially comics cause to be brutally honest, not every 'comic book to movie' adaptations are actually good. because origin story alone sometimes are so freaking convoluted and/or the movie directors want to produce their own spin on it (lets not use xmen origins wolvering cause that card gets played too often. so we throw in fantastic 4, the teenage 'scientists' one, in short it isnt bad but its not that good it's just non canon)

this deadpool movie was just *muah* awesome, origin story was nice and reasonable length with some changes to the literal 'deapool' meaning. but the crass humor and violence is what made this awesome. too many times people thought comics were only either very dark or supposed to be non violent/below nc17 but the deadpool movie showed that it was knew what direction it was going for and stuck to its guns.
