** Comments are my opinions, same as yours. It's not a 'Be-All-and-End-All' view. Intent's to thought-provoke, validate, reiterate and yes, even correct. Opinion to consider but agree to disagree. I don't enjoy conflicted exchanges, empty bravado or egoistical chest pounding. It's never personal, tribalistic or with malice. Frank by nature, means, I never bend the truth. Fantastic Beast is my recent favourite in 2016.

If you like that.. you should or maybe you already did.. watch  Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. The ending especially was a bit confusing but as I watched on video... got around it.

If you enjoy ExMachina you may enjoy MORGAN with a somewhat twist to the ending.

Not entirely a big fan of Ben Afleck due to some of his virtue signalling PC BS left wing narrative so I was late to watching The Accountant. But I kinda like that flick which was a refreshing mix of action gendre. heh. In the same vein or quirky for romantic which I am not a big fan, I thought Mr Right was quite entertaining.

Over the last few years, there were a series of cooking related shows which were really beautiful and well written. I think the latest I like was Burnt. There also "The Hundred Foot Journey" which is about an Indian family and stars Helem Mirren, Chef which was a personal project by famed Iron Man Director, Ratatouille cartoon, Julie & Julia with Meryl Stree and Amy Adam, Spanglish among my favorites...

I love my action stuff hardcore but I too love the artsy and a bit more cerebral ones when there are well made.

Not bad, helped to explain Freddie and Fanny crashes, tho' feels a little done and dated...like it was a different world then. 2016's best movie, for me, would always be Captain A, Civil War. Luv the superheroes pow-wow!:P

I like some of these kind of movies about real situations. It's a bit Hollywoodsy but most of the stuffs are about right. It was a 2015 movie. The wolf of Wall Street was also a great movie with L. DiCaprio and he was pretty damn good in Revenant 2016

Chick flick sucks for me from the Ghostbuster 2016 to the Divergent Series bullshit....to some extend even Hunger Games. Mainly because they over push the stupid feminist agenda to the point it is totally incredible and too cringe worthy to watch. Or at least to pay money to watch them.

Not sure how you define underrated but it's a firm fromtrunner for Oscars Best Picture and a hit at the American box office.

I think The Hunger Games actually props up a lot more than just a stupid feminist agenda, which is why the movies did so well at the box office. For me at least, I watched Catching Fire six times in theaters because it was that good. I was a fan the way I am of Harry Potter. If you merely stated THG as an offhand remark, strike me off as an enraged fan haha.

My biggest surprises in 2016 would be Kubo And The Two Strings (underrated at box office) and The Purge: Election Year, which was surprisingly fun when I watched with my friend.

There were bad surprises like X Men: Apocalypse. Days of Future Past was so so good what happened?? Finding Dory was more good than 'wow!!' the more I thought about it. I also confirmed that I can't relate to Star Wars movies after Rogue One.

To those who've watched Arrival, I hope you did it overseas and not through pirating. Some of these movies need our money, and I don't mean the Marvel ones.

Dislike the annoying fatty friend.

Haha he gave quite a fair bit of comic relief.

Personally I quite enjoyed it I guess. Sorta classic coming of age, where a kid doesn't think that there are people listening to him and trying to prove his worth.

P. S.  My jaw dropped when Tom took off his clothes. Not just me. My friends too hahaha

Cooking is my passion. Music is my life. Reading is my sanity.

Bitching about you keeps me happy.

I like to pause at 1:30 and jerk off to the video still picture, cos you can see Tobey's hot and tight body being stretched out in his sexy spiderman costume  :D

The newer Spidermans (Andrew Garfield & Tom Holland) just don't cut it for me.

Why would a hollywood move that cost millions to make put fatty people in it? It should be filled with beautiful people! Maybe not enough money? Its another case of penny wise pound foolish! That fatty must be cheap to hire thats why.

Anyway, i will not watch this hollywood movie unless they cast an Asian spiderman. Asia is the future. Hollywood know this as they court china money. Unless the Americans want me to watch the next spiderman, they better cast an Asian spiderman. If they do and they ask me to help promote, i will not only watch but will help promote it through my facebook and insta as I am an social media influencer.
