Just chill, guys!  You ain't seen nothing yet.  There were so many incidents accidents and whatever, happened in this little red island in recent months.  The most hideous act commited by straight people, causing death to innocent lives and one anti-gay uncles beating up a teen and calling him "virus", while another throwing rainbow flags at salad staff.   It happens.   Gay nurses are everywhere, not all are bad because of this isolated cases.  Same goes for gay teachers, gay policemen,  gay lawyer, gay whatever.  You get the point.   Every pasture, you are likely to get one disobedient sheep.  It happens, it is normal.  The sheep will repent in future.

The male nurse had no medical job task with the victim. He was just the front desk nurse with admin tasks. He seem to have entered the room without having been assigned to the victim on a medical treatment basis.

Maybe Mr. patient was asked to do a colonoscopy , which is one type of endoscopy, hence was asked to wear hospital gown and commando all the way.

Endoscopy specifically refers to an examination of the stomach and the tract leading to the stomach by insertion of a camera down the throat. It may also examine the small intestine but no further. It should not be confused with a colonoscopy which involves insertion into the anus and only reaches as far as the large intestine. If you read the article it is very clear he was referred to the clinic by his doctor for a stomach complaint. Nowhere does it mention the man went to the clinic for a colonoscopy.

Ivan Lee Yi Wang, now 32, is said to have targeted the man twice on Oct 31, 2018, at the hospital in Irrawaddy Road off Balestier. The specialist centre is located within the hospital.

Yes....not gog to name e hospital but is a private hospital in town area.

I m in gown n wearing nothing under e gown lying on bed waiting for my Dr to arrive for e scope. Even after e procedure, (I m still in gown wif nothing below) pushed into an all male observation ward for 1-2 hrs in tere. 2 guys across my bed oso in gown wearing nothing below. Both exposed their bushy jewel when they lifted up their legs bending knee resting on bed. 

 

Different hospital different way doing. Dun presume all hospital doing e same.

Endoscopy does NOT specifically refer to that. Colonoscopy is definitely considered a form of endoscopy.

Gastroscopy refers to going in from the top end.

For the report on the acquittal cases in the other post some days ago:

 

If there isn't sufficient evidence or the person who made the report contradicting herself, then what do you want a judge to do?

 

There might be even a shift in policy on handling such cases.

For previous cases I had the impression the authorities and judges merely lip read what any molester alleged against others.

Regarding the one incident happening in the flight at one of the above newspaper reports. On a private trip to Europe I sat at the window in economy with the seat in between empty, a young lady in her mid to late 20s occupied the center seat to sleep and stretched her legs up to my "window" seat area. At one time her hand was even touching my waist area. I awoke her at a certain point when one leg was always hitting my thighs and told her if she had been a man and me the woman, she had complained about sexual harassment or reported me. She well understood what I meant... Out of some reasons other people can feel unhappy and are easily out for "revenge".  You say something to a woman and she feels unhappy...  Surely, some guys talk with special intentions of getting to know a lady, but it doesn't always end in sexual harassment. In a confined area such as a plane it easily can happen to touch a lady, taking stuff out of the head compartment, moving to the toilet if the lady doesn't stand up from the seat

He answered "no". The first page of the document defined "sex" as various penetrative acts including oral sex

 

 

Very unlikely that he caught HIV by one single oral sex incident in a bus in India....

Why can't they just write he is bisexual or gay? They don't even mention his name. Even if they just indicate something like , whether he is gay or bisexual is not known...

 

Looks more like he needed the money for the blood donation to survive...

 

Best part was that he directly brought his whole belongings to the court hearing and wanted to go to jail...

That is really an intrusive question by the blood bank.  It should be none of their business if you had sex with a man.  Straights can also have HIV, hepatitis, etc.  All they should care is that your blood is not infected.  And for this, nothing replaces the testing of each dose of blood.  They may still do it,  but they want to avoid paying for a donation of blood that turns out to be infected.  But they can work around this by only paying for the blood if it turns out to be free of infection.

I dun think this only applies to SG but many other countries too, even in several western countries, you will be turned away if you have M2M sex.

SINGAPORE: A HIV-positive man who donated his blood and was later charged with lying about his sexual history had his charge formally withdrawn on Friday (Mar 12), after a lawyer took up his case.

 

The 37-year-old man, whose identity remains protected by gag order, had been charged with lying in the Donor Health Assessment Questionnaire on May 3, 2020, at Bloodbank @ HSA. He had indicated "no" to a question that read: "In your entire lifetime: Male Donors: Have you had sex with another man?"

 

The man told an open court last week that he had gone to donate blood as he wanted to help increase blood supply during the COVID-19 pandemic last year.

He also said he did not declare an oral sex encounter with a man in 2017 as he did not know the term "sex" included oral sex.

He told the court he was depressed after he found out he had HIV, had lost his job and could not afford unsubsidised treatment. His blood was not used as authorities test donated blood before using it.

The judge rejected the man's plea of guilt as he had qualified it by indicating that he did not know at the time of the incident that "sex" included oral sex.

 

After the hearing on Mar 3, lawyer Ashwin Ganapathy of IRB Law stepped forward to represent the man. 

 

After Mr Ganapathy made representations for him to the Ministry of Health's (MOH) prosecutors, a stern warning was issued to the man, and he was given a discharge amounting to an acquittal on Friday.

 

A copy of the MOH document issued to the man, seen by CNA, read: "You have committed an offence under the Infectious Diseases Act. After careful consideration of the circumstances of your case as disclosed by investigations, as set out below, you are hereby warned to refrain from committing any further offence and to comply with the law at all times.

"If you commit any offence in future, the same leniency may not be shown towards you."

 

The penalties he had faced for the charge of giving false information relating to a blood donation were a maximum jail term of two years, a fine of up to S$20,000, or both.

 

Speaking to CNA outside the court after his charge was withdrawn, the man said he was happy and relieved to have the case settled after about nine months. He said he planned to return to his home country.

 

He thanked his lawyer as well as organisations Transient Workers Count 2 (TWC2) and Action for Aids Singapore, which he said provided him with help. He said those with HIV and are facing stress should seek help from these organisations.

 

He also thanked MOH for withdrawing the charge.

Most western countries have eliminated their regulations against homosexuality. 

 

Years ago a person with HIV did not qualify for immigration to the US.  But in 2010 the Obama Administration eliminated this restriction and now there is no discrimination based on HIV.  This progressive president  Obama did many good things.

Why not just state clearly if you have same sex experience, you can't donate blood? All these lying and court cases can be prevented. Why purposely asking people about their sexual history when it is obvious that people don't want to disclose it?

We may not agree that gays who had sex before are forever banned from blood donations in Singapore. It especially sucks when people around us are donating blood, and we have to find an excuse not to donate.

But if HSA does not want to take on the potential risk of more stringent STD checks, or the PR nightmare of patients getting infected with HIV/diseases from blood transfusions, we can't do much about it. At the very least, they are transparent and upfront about it.

SINGAPORE - Two men - one aged 21 and the other 60 - were sentenced to jail on Thursday (April 1) for molesting underage boys in unrelated incidents.

The offences involved Malaysian Clement Tan Jun Yan, who targeted four boys, and Singaporean Mohamed Taha Ahmad, who molested one.

Tan, 21, will spend 18 months behind bars after pleading guilty to two counts of molestation involving two boys. Two similar charges linked to the other victims were considered during sentencing.

 

The court heard that Tan was at Yishun Bus Interchange at around 9pm on Aug 2 last year when he spotted a 15-year-old boy and took a liking to him.

The pair later boarded the same bus, alighted near a block of flats in Yishun and entered a lift.

Tan molested the boy as the latter was exiting the lift and he left the vicinity soon after.

 

The boy told his parents about the attack and his mother alerted the police the next day. Officers arrested Tan on Aug 5 last year.

He was out on bail when he molested a 13-year-old boy who was on his way to school on bus service 812 at around 7am on Oct 23 last year.

The teenager later told his form teacher about what had happened, the court heard.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Niranjan Ranjakunalan told the court on Thursday that Tan had admitted to having "sexual interest" towards "young males who are mainly in the secondary school age group".

 

Tan, who was unrepresented, told the court that he was unable to control his sexual desires owing to his "stress" at work. His occupation was not revealed in court documents.

The other offender sentenced on Thursday was 60-year-old Taha, who has an adult daughter and uses a walking stick.

He admitted to a molestation charge involving a 12-year-old boy and was sentenced to 14 months' jail.

The court heard that Taha was at Bedok Interchange at around 10am on Oct 22 last year when he noticed the boy before they boarded bus service 225G. The pair later alighted near a block of flats at Bedok North Street 3.

 

The DPP said: "There, the accused asked the victim if he could help him with something without specifying the help allegedly required. The victim agreed to help the accused and followed him.

"The accused and the victim then took (a) lift together. Inside the lift, the accused asked the victim what size his underwear was. The victim was shocked."

Taha then offered the boy $10 to allow him to check the size of the youngster's underwear.

The boy took the cash without saying anything and they went to a staircase landing when the doors opened. Taha then molested the boy who pushed his hand away.

The court heard that the child wanted to return the $10 but Taha insisted that he keep the money.

 

Taha left the vicinity soon after. On Oct 23 last year, the boy told a teacher in his school about what had happened and lodged a police report later that day.

Taha is out on bail of $8,000. He will start his jail term on May 17 after celebrating Hari Raya Puasa earlier that month.

SINGAPORE - A man working as an operations support officer in a primary school took a liking to an eight-year-old boy he found "cute and adorable".

Chong Choon Ying hugged the pupil in school on numerous occasions when no one else was around.

In early 2017, he wrapped his left hand around the boy's shoulders and used his other hand to touch the boy's groin.

The boy did not tell his teachers or parents about this at first as he thought no one would believe him.

He finally broke his silence about two years later and told his father about what Chong had done to him.

Chong, a 48-year-old Singaporean, pleaded guilty on Tuesday (April 6) to a molestation charge and was sentenced to 14 months' jail and one stroke of the cane.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Heershan Kaur said Chong had spotted the boy at his workplace while carrying out duties, which included maintenance work and locking up the classrooms after school hours. He started hugging the boy soon after.

The DPP said: "According to the accused, he would not approach the victim when other persons were around as he felt they may not feel comfortable about him hugging the victim.

"Some time between January and March 2017, the accused saw the victim alone, wandering aimlessly in the school compound. He then approached the victim and asked the victim for a hug, during which he opened his arms and gestured the victim to come closer."

Chong then molested the boy, who told his father about it on Jan 20, 2019.

A police report was made three days later.

SINGAPORE: A man was jailed for 18 years and given the maximum 24 strokes of the cane on Tuesday (Apr 13) for sexually abusing two brothers who were aged between 10 and 12 after inviting them to seek shelter at his home. The man, who was 31 at the time of the offences in 2019, cannot be named due to gag orders protecting the identities of his victims, who were his godsons.

 

He sexually assaulted the boy while showering with him, knowing the boy was quiet and reserved and unlikely to raise complaints. It was only when the accused targeted the younger boy as well that the brothers told each other what happened. They eventually revealed the sexual abuse to their mother, and a social care worker reported the matter to the police. The older boy displayed high levels of fear and anger towards the accused, triggered when he heard his name or the area of his flat. He felt ashamed that the man had sexually assaulted him, coping by suppressing the thoughts and experiencing anxiety when made to recount what happened.

SINGAPORE: A former taxi driver was given 14 months and three weeks' jail on Tuesday (Apr 13) for molesting a 13-year-old boy he was ferrying home from school. Chew Lye Beng, 58, cannot be caned as he is above 50, and three weeks of his jail term are in lieu of three strokes of the cane.

 

He had picked up the boy - who was accompanied by a friend - and asked him to sit next to him in the front seat, chatting with him and pinching his cheeks on the way. When they got to the boy's home, Chew leaned over to help the boy with his seat belt and molested him. The shocked boy told his friend when they alighted that Chew had touched him. Chew then asked the victim to go into a toilet with him, and asked his friend to wait in the car. However, the boy, frightened, ran away and retrieved a penknife from his home before returning to school for co-curricular activities (CCA) with his friend.

The offences involved Malaysian Clement Tan Jun Yan, who targeted four boys, and Singaporean Mohamed Taha Ahmad, who molested one.

Tan, 21, will spend 18 months behind bars after pleading guilty to two counts of molestation involving two boys. Two similar charges linked to the other victims were considered during sentencing.

 

The court heard that Tan was at Yishun Bus Interchange at around 9pm on Aug 2 last year when he spotted a 15-year-old boy and took a liking to him.

The pair later boarded the same bus, alighted near a block of flats in Yishun and entered a lift.

Tan molested the boy as the latter was exiting the lift and he left the vicinity soon after.

 

The boy told his parents about the attack and his mother alerted the police the next day. Officers arrested Tan on Aug 5 last year.

He was out on bail when he molested a 13-year-old boy who was on his way to school on bus service 812 at around 7am on Oct 23 last year.

The teenager later told his form teacher about what had happened, the court heard.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Niranjan Ranjakunalan told the court on Thursday that Tan had admitted to having "sexual interest" towards "young males who are mainly in the secondary school age group".

 

Tan, who was unrepresented, told the court that he was unable to control his sexual desires owing to his "stress" at work. His occupation was not revealed in court documents.

The other offender sentenced on Thursday was 60-year-old Taha, who has an adult daughter and uses a walking stick.

He admitted to a molestation charge involving a 12-year-old boy and was sentenced to 14 months' jail.

The court heard that Taha was at Bedok Interchange at around 10am on Oct 22 last year when he noticed the boy before they boarded bus service 225G. The pair later alighted near a block of flats at Bedok North Street 3.

 

The DPP said: "There, the accused asked the victim if he could help him with something without specifying the help allegedly required. The victim agreed to help the accused and followed him.

"The accused and the victim then took (a) lift together. Inside the lift, the accused asked the victim what size his underwear was. The victim was shocked."

Taha then offered the boy $10 to allow him to check the size of the youngster's underwear.

The boy took the cash without saying anything and they went to a staircase landing when the doors opened. Taha then molested the boy who pushed his hand away.

The court heard that the child wanted to return the $10 but Taha insisted that he keep the money.

 

Taha left the vicinity soon after. On Oct 23 last year, the boy told a teacher in his school about what had happened and lodged a police report later that day.

Taha is out on bail of $8,000. He will start his jail term on May 17 after celebrating Hari Raya Puasa earlier that month.

SINGAPORE - A former primary school teacher, who was jailed twice for sexually preying on teenage boys, committed similar offences again and was sentenced to six strokes of the cane and eight years of corrective training.

Chock Soon Seng, now 43, will undergo corrective training, which is a prison regime for repeat offenders without the usual one-third remission for good behaviour.

He pleaded guilty last month to four counts of sexual penetration involving two of three underage boys he had met in 2018 and 2019.

Chock was working as a freelance tutor at the time of his latest offences.

The court heard that his first victim, a 15-year-old boy, had in 2018 posted an advertisement on an online classifieds website indicating that he was interested in looking for women.

Chock responded to the ad in April that year, and the teenager told him that he was not a homosexual.

But Chock persuaded him to "experiment".

Deputy Public Prosecutors Chin Jincheng and Chong Yong said Chock made no attempts to verify the teenager's age and instead offered to pay him for sexual acts.

Chock went to the teenager's home on April 23, 2018, where they performed sex acts on each other. He later gave the boy an unspecified amount of cash and left.

Chock met the second victim, a 13-year-old boy, through a gay dating app in 2018 and the teenager told him that he was a Primary 6 pupil.

The pair met on April 15 that year and they performed sex acts on each other at a staircase landing of a multi-storey carpark. They met again two days later and did similar acts in a toilet cubicle at Punggol Community Club.

Chock's offences came to light in June 2019 when the boy's mother found some sex-related conversations on her son's mobile phone. She alerted the police and officers arrested Chock soon after.

He was first jailed for 10 months in 2010, when he was a primary school teacher, after he tried to persuade two 13-year-old boys to let him watch them perform a sexual act.

In 2014, he was sentenced to three years' jail for offences that include sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy and threatening to put his naked pictures online.

SINGAPORE: A 43-year-old man was jailed for five months on Friday (Apr 30) for repeatedly molesting a younger man on a crowded train during peak hours. Raymond Tan Guan Teng pleaded guilty to two counts of using criminal force to outrage the modesty of the 36-year-old man, whose identity is protected by gag order.

The court heard that the victim boarded a train at Choa Chu Kang MRT Station towards Marina Bay MRT Station at around 7.40am on Feb 25 last year.  He was in the first carriage of the train, which was crowded at the time. Tan boarded the train at Canberra MRT Station at about 8.10am and stood on the left of the victim, who was leaning against a door. Tan found the victim good-looking and wanted to catch his attention, the court heard.

As the train was moving, Tan molested the man's buttock. The victim saw that Tan was carrying a sling bag over his shoulder and assumed the bag had touched him. About 10 minutes later, Tan used the knuckles of his hand to tap the victim's buttock again. Feeling uncomfortable, the victim looked down to see Tan's bag and shifted his body to create space between himself and Tan. However, Tan moved in closer and again tapped the victim's buttocks with his knuckles, with the victim moving further away again. At around 8.30am, while the train was at Bishan MRT, Tan turned around to face the door as the doors would be opening on his side of the carriage.

He was now standing on the right side of the victim, who looked down and saw Tan's hand near the victim's crotch. As the train moved, Tan molested the victim on the crotch. The victim felt outraged and took a step backwards, covering his crotch with his hands. He was stunned and continued looking straight at the train door. He alighted at Braddell station, indicating to Tan to move out of the way as Tan was standing very close to him. Tan followed the victim out of the train station to a 7-11 store nearby, where he tried to start a conversation with the victim. The victim lodged a police report later that morning, and Tan was identified via closed-circuit television camera footage and arrested by the police.

Hopefully the arrest and five-month jail sentence of Tan Guan Teng (a-k-a Raymond Tan) is a warning and a lesson to all of the ridiculously desperate people out there. SINGAPORE — A 16-year-old teenager was sentenced to one-and-a-half years’ probation on Friday (May 7) for taking 58 video clips of naked boys in the men’s toilet at Sengkang Sports Centre. The teen will also have to remain indoors from 9pm to 6am, perform 70 hours of community service and attend offence-specific cognitive behavioural treatment. He was 14 when he committed the offences on Sept 22 and Oct 19, 2019.  In March, he pleaded guilty to 10 charges of making an obscene film under the Films Act, with another 48 such charges taken into consideration for sentencing.
