Thanks @Kimochi for the quick reply. That was my favourite chillout place

Don't think they are going to get repair. It was down since last year Aug 2017. If they intend to repair... it won't take so long to get repair.

Don't understand what Keybox management are thinking.

In the dark maze, they switch off second floor's aircon while many people are there, end up second floor so hot and stuffy.  However, they turn on the ceiling aircon in front of the big bed at first floor, the air flow from the aircon are so strong basically nobody is using the big bed. End up people simply occupied the cubicle room.

the aircon on the 2nd floor can be on without the remote, there is a switch below the light. I always switch it on whenever I see the aircon is off. Basically i don’t understand what are the staff thinking depriving customers of aircon and dry sauna(not repaired for months!) but still charging us the same amount of money

They are thinking - how to save electricity.

Previously I visit shogun and  I saw one of KB ex staff (young mly guy with blonde hair) abit shock to see him going there in the middle of the night with one of his friend. Manage to chat with him to ask how Is he doing after resign from Kb and all. It seems that a lot of shogun ppl knows him and always chat with him while me and him were sitting at smoking corner. Well he is one of the friendly staff at KB back than. As for now everything change after he left.

That is not bad already.  Worse will be to increase entrance fee to cover the operating cost.

After 8pm they will stop issuing 2nd towel because according to one of their staff, they have to keep the towels for patrons coming in later.

Why will they keep the towels for patrons who might not come and not give their paid customers their 2nd towel?

Then why didn’t they refund us part of our entrance fee since we paid that amount to enjoy steamroom, sauna & 2 towels?

Why should I pay the full fee to have my benefits taken away as and when they like?

You forgot to mention that keybox is the only gay patronised sauna that has a $10.00 entrance before 5pm most days and $10.00 dollar entrance anytime on mondays.

Consider it that your money is used to cross subsidised those who make use of the before 5pm entrance as they pay $2.00 less than normal.

And on those days when you choose to enter before 5pm . You would have enjoyed paying $2.00 less and that is equivalent to 2 x towels price.

Just imagine sometimes you subsidise other patrons entry and sometimes other patrons subsidise your entry ticket to have sexual release.

I always bring my own towel to wipe my face area. I dont use the supplied towel to wipe my face only body.

So far towels supplied by keybox is clean and sterilised.

Never caught fungal infection from using their towels.

Evet caught fungal infection in the crotch area from using towelscat other saunas , kena tinea cruris infection . Took 1 month of fungal cream to clear up.

So overall keybox is satifactory to me.

Hygiene is a difficult task not just to keep but maintain. That cleaner may be wondering how many times as compared to public toilet, he has to really wash for hundreds coming in to laze and sleep on the premises to be free from bugs that was hidden in the dark. Moreover there are so many semens and sweat around every corner that can t be seen but touched. Not counting the undetectable germs that has been breeding since the previous tenant. How exactly or should this gay suana be cleaned! However, it seems that a clean towel is better than nothing.

It seems that "keep" and "maintain" in this context are similar.  Public toilets are limited in their use, but other places can be as contaminated as saunas:  gyms and hotel rooms.  In a gym people share equipment that can get covered with sweat, share showers, lockers etc.  In hotel rooms, people may share bed bugs.  It seems that semen does not compromise hygiene more than other body fluids, since the STD germs don't survive for long after the semen leaves the body, especially if it dries.

Would it cut their profits too much if they buy two dozen extra towels to take care of patrons coming late?

Ya! I supposed that keep can be just for a day! The problems lies on whether the cleaner just keep it clean for the day! Or maintain it by daily basis! There are standard procedure for Cleaners to clean hotel room as there are adequate training on maintaining the cleanliness of room, as proper linen and sheets are changed clean and new. As for public toilet, no one will actually have skin contacts on any wall or floor unless you want to sleep on it and so proper detergent wash with rinsing is good enough. As for gym, sweat is unavoidable but hope personal hygiene is educate properly among individual to at least bring a small towel along as and when! Army taught that! Lastly, may you be infected by germs and virus as soon as possible!

There is no issue of old, torn towels provided by these establishments.

The simplest solution is to bring your own towel...Before you bark out loud, allow me to inform you that Daiso sells 100 cm x 45 or 55 cm micro fibre towels for just $2.  Yes, you may want to add a Velcro strip to tighten the towel...And because they are light weight, it fits into your backpack easily.   This way, you ain't using used towels anymore.

I think the maintenance of their towel is great. So far all their towels are new & clean, sometimes even warm from the laundry.

Just that they should provide enough towels for all the patrons because on busy day(esp PH/weekends) they will stop issuing 2nd towel.

You go in and volunteer your work so you can give them the solution and then see what challenges they face?

Good idea.  Especially the addition of the velcro strip to keep towel from opening and falling down.  Good for people with round bellies?

You guys may not remember, but the No. 1 Champion of Objectable Towels used to be Max Lim's Raw, then later Queen Resort sauna.  No other place could compete with his yucky yellowish worn-out towels (although they were clean)

Just. Buy. More. Towels. Don’t need a very high IQ to come up with that solution

There are other factors, not just buy. More. Towels.  The world is not so perfect like the press of a button solve everything . If you can, provide them feedback and solution personally. There's more to it just IQ .
