Was at KB earlier and crowd was not too bad, much better than last Fri. A little disappointed as there wasn't any tasty offerings this week. I must say that KB is the only sauna in Singapore that has such a wide spread for a buffet and such good quality food like the fruit tartlets and the bread pudding!!! Though not the main reason why I go there but it is certainly a PLUS for the evening. I hope that the Mgmt will consider making it a regular feature

I am visiting Spore end of this month and planning to visit the sauna. I am not sure whether to visit Keybox or Shogun, both has its own merits. Would appreciate the members here to recommend which one to visit and which night/theme to go. I am not into chub/stocky (no offence).

I am slim fit vers top with boyish/metrosexual look.

keybox is a fantastic place for a mature chub like me!

saw many chubs and chub chasers when i went over the weekends

the staff ae friendly, the rooms and bed are big and spacious enough for me

the juccuzzi is great amd the over place is clean

best of all 1 floor only!no more climbing up and down

its far better than shogun which really smells and so old

all the chubs and chasers we have a new place to go now!

While I am sure chubs are more than welcomed, you give readers the impression that this is a chub exclusive place. The crowd is a good mix and chubs maybe make up less tha 5%. Agree with you, everything is nice and clean!

I've just been last Thurs to enquire the same question at the front desk. According to the guy, the answer is "NO".

I think he was quite reluctant to entertain my question, probably not the first time he was asked that question I guess haha.

There is no such theme and was told that the crowd would be mixed. Of course I decided not to enter, but how silly was I!

There were words spreading around in the chub & chaser circle regarding Thursday being the highest prevalence

for this group to frequent the place. Only discovered this on other forums, after I have left Singapore

Should have just gone in and try my luck.

End of the day like any sauna, I guess it boils down to cleanliness, atmosphere and the facilities they provide.

I didn't enjoy some other saunas I've visited in Singapore, not as clean it should be, and shall not mention the names here.

Have to say from my brief observation at keybox, judging from the counter it looks like a clean and tidy place...

Thursday is an unofficial day for chub & chaser, reason is the boss prefers slim and slim toned people, so they would tell you its mixed crowd.

They dont want to offend other sauna bosses, if you know what i mean.

Its better to head there in the afternoon like between 2pm - 5pm to get the best catch. The afternoons are $10(no extra pass) and $15(with free next visit pass).

6pm onwards has a theme for 35years and older and so those who are mature beefy, chubs and chasers will find it cheaper if they come late. But do note that sometimes, the crowd dies off after 11pm if they all had a good catch.

Also to note is that, the 1st week and middle of the month, there is a better catch for the chubs and chasers.

While it is uncommon to find someone with a Greek God's body in any sauna in Singapore, the crowd is as common as in any competitor's saunas - abit of this and that.It's always a matter of timing and chemistry. Different people go to different saunas and on different days so for example you might have lots of fun one Saturday and the next Saturday, not at all. And vice versa. Thank you for your honest feedback.

We will look into the lighting conditions in the shower area. But we hope you understand that if its too bright alot of patrons would be too shy to bathe in there as well so we have to balance that as well. Nevertheless we will look into how we can improve this.

As for the toilets we would conduct more regular cleaning checks but we cannot do it too often as this would disrupt patrons as well.

We advise everyone to also do their part and keep the place clean! :thumb:

About your entry fee, we will look into this matter. Do drop us a private msg about details of your visit and we will investigate on this matter.
