Every sauna here adopt a more or less similar pricing. If it's really true that certain crowds of patrons like to congregate at certain sauna then it's fine so be it,one just need to follow one own desired crowd to where they gather.

I think you still dont really get what I mean. To me, KB is the best sauna albeit smaller in size. The crowd used to suit me, well mixed in terms of shape size age race etc. But now it seems to be dominated by more mature Chinese guys. I dont really see the minority race or caucasians nowadays, except for one or two. But my preference for KB is not only about the crowd, but also the place. I couldnt get the same kind of cosy relaxing feel in other saunas even though their crowd may be better. Get it?

I hated it when the staff turn off or increase the temp of the aircon half way through the night. The dark maze is so hot inside. I think will get heat stroke.

I understand they want to save some electric cost but please have some consideration for the customer. At least install some fan inside.

However, there is no door between the smoking area and behind area. Anyway, smoke has no where to go and eventually will fill up the space. If you ask me, they should just don't allow smoking in the sauna.  Now I go to the bath room through the maze. Nut hate it

There is a door now between the locker and then Smoking area. However, there is no door between the smoking area and behind area. Anyway, smoke has no where to go and eventually will fill up the space. If you ask me, they should just don't allow smoking in the sauna.  Now I go to the bath room through the maze. Nut hate it

smoke condition much better than last week because there's a ventilation fan on the ceiling of the smoking area. Yes, some smoke would inevitably travel to the jacuzzi and the water cooler area but still considered an improvement over last week.

Hopefully smokers will light up at the corner with the ventilation fan instead of the TV area because the TV area doesnt have a similar fan.

Will a half swing door serve the purpose of preventing the smoke from entering other parts of the sauna?

Suggestion:

Curtain to be put up at the main entrance after entering from the second glass door. They used to have a black curtain there, but after reno, no more curtain. No privacy when changing towel at the counter.

Curtains to be put up along the few entrances leading to the lockers to block the view of people changing at their lockers from people sitting or standing along the main corridor. Just a precaution in case people snap others changing at the lockers with their hps. To spice things up a little, those translucent type of organza curtain can be used.

Gloryholes to be added to the partition wall in the steam room.

Just my few cents.

The walkway is a bit too wide and sparse, so it's not conducive for cruising. Hard to touch anyone passing along the way as a signal.

U almost have to create a barricade with arms out stretched to stop a guy if u wanted to give a signal, which is kinda embarrassing.

No wonder everyone was packed at the dark maze. The dark maze is a bit scary as u donno wat kind of creatures are inside. I walked in for a peek but many pairs of hands started to reach out (hopefully they were human), so I gave up.

The crowd was so-so, a mixed bag of young, old which is good as u get to pick wat u want.

Having said that, don't think I'd visit often - maybe once in a while for a change of crowd.

Have to bear with it whenever you walk pass by the gym to the washroom. So I think the previous smoking room was a better setup.!

I agree with you that walkways should not be wide but should offer narrow passageways to let customers come together and bond in spite of shyness and silly posturing. 

Now about "u donno wat kind of creatures are inside",  the truth is that others also donno wat kind of creature YOU are.   So maybe you want to step down from your high horse and recognize that everybody comes to this place with the same goal, and nobody is less human than YOU are.

Yes, of course the previous smoking room was better because it really contained the smoke. Hopefully KB puts up a door soon to stop the smoke from entering the water cooler area.

Yes, thats why many of them have turned into statues, posing there for a long time. And it is brighter than before too, which may also prevent people from being too daring. So nowadays most people would gather near the entrance of the dark maze and in the steam room for action.

Went last evening. Is it me or has the quality of KB really dropped? It used to have many young fit cadets on Tue but now mostly matured and unfit type. And it doesn't help to have those chatty Minahs back, who were adding "sound effect" for the guys making out in the dark area, and went round teasing shy handsome guys.

KB, no matter how well your reno is, if the quality drops, your business will surely suffer. With the open concept smoking area, Minahs going around teasing cuties and mature crowd getting larger, I am afraid you have to start doing something to reverse all these.

Overheard a staff telling a patron the installation of jacuzzi is expected to be completed by this Fri. Actually all of us do not really care about the jacuzzi, but whether another door would be put up between the smoking area and the resting area outside the shower room.

Left empty-handed and sac-full again after visiting the new KB twice. Still holding on to my last free pass, hope things will be better when I visit the next (and hopefully not the last) time.

To all the guys I have gently or firmly rejected last evening, so sorry, I was simply not getting into the mood.

Very true, singalion.  Also to mention is that an anti-smoking attitude, making smokers feel like losers instead of "cool", is HELPFUL. It discourages smoking, a nasty hurtful habit.  I was able to quit smoking, so I have reasons to think that everybody can. It doesn't take long after quitting until we don't have any interest in smoking.  Same with drinking.   If we can grow a thick skin, we can be at ease in a crowd without having to drink a single beer. But of course, bars can survive smoking-free but not drinking-free...

Please look at your tax rebates, your health care bills, and the street lamps. These are funded by sin-tax including tobacco and liquor. Smokers are part and parcel of nation building and deserve not to be hated.
