Wow! Sounds like some saunas in the region - no entry to specific group. I wonder how you would feel if you are denied entry because of who you are even though your dick or ass might still work well.

 

Perhaps suggest those who don't know how to use their dicks or asses in 1 hour upon entry to be kicked out. Waste space to the already small space. Make room for those who know how to have fun than acting as Sir Stamford Raffles or acting like they are a diva there.

There is a video clip on Boyztube, showing the entire fucking scene scene in the private room. It was cam-cord by a peeping tom and the room is definitely the old keybox @ North Bridge Road. Just type in SG / Singapore in the search field you will see the clip.

There are many old CBs (keybox regular patrons) love to sit and hold their gadgets around the lockers area. One of them even brought his gadget to the shower area, and you can tell he is hunting for a nice victim. His gadget is on camera / video mode.

Keybox is definitely a good place to chill. But this group of old aunties / peeping toms / video cam perverts must be exterminated.

Today is the opening of Keybox.

The entrance at 17 Upp Circular Road is now the new Keybox sauna.

Upon entering the glass door, you are greeted by the counter staff. The staff will collect from you the old Keybox card and issue you a new card, but you will have to fill in a form with name, email, date of birth, mobile no etc. And they will asked you to produce your IC to verify what you had entered. For those of you whom are worried or concern about the recording and checking of these details, I can say now, you can forget about going. No point arguing left, right, center. That is their entry policy. Take it or leave it.

After paying, they will issue you a towel and keys to your locker. You enter via the door on the right. The whole place have been repainted. the small corridor leads into the inner sanctum. The man-made waterfall structure is on the left and the right is the 3 wash basin with big mirrors where you can freshen up and blow dry your hair before leaving. As you walk further in, the lockers are on both sides like before but gone are the electronic locks but the familiar brown lockers with locker keys and no.

The previous gym room on the left has now been converted to dark maze and it house 15 rooms of various size and a zig-zag maze area. As dark maze brings back some familiarity of the old Keybox, yet with a new feel to it. In most of the room still have the signature red mattress and mirror on the wall, not forgetting toilet roll and lube dispenser and a container for condoms. The lights, next to the door are controlled by a dimmer switch which brighten or darkens the room. This time round instead of low ceiling, the ceiling of that old building are high thus giving the dark maze a roomy feel. The dark maze is really dark at certain area and the dark corridor are lighted by some down lights. Right inside the dark maze lies a metal stairway which leads to the a mezzanine level where there is a TV and huge communal mattress opposite it. It looks like a TV room, but not too sure what movies are to be played there as it was not operational. The dark maze can be accessed by 2 doors, one near the locker area and the other near the steam room area.

Within the locker area, there is a little room with 2 sofa and a table with 2 computer for internet access. It is a rest room as well as a reading room.

A door next to the reading room in the locker area leads to the back of the sauna (formally the wet / meal / jacuzzi area). Left of the open terrace with leads to the gym and jacuzzi, sits three metal tables and chairs and each tables with an ash trays for smokers. Behind the three table sits the gym room with some gym equipment.

The Jacuzzi is still there and was running but the heater will be added later to heat up the jacuzzi water.

The back area is also the wet area and the former shower and steam room had been renovated and given a new coat of paint. The steam room maze, had been reorganized and it had retained some old Keybox features. The steam room is very warm and strong where you can really break a sweat.

In the shower room, there is open area with 5 showers head where you can ogle at other member as it is rather bright and a separate shower area with 2 shower head. There is also 3 toilet with WC with hose.

That sort of covers the walk through for the whole sauna.

Keybox is still a work in progress although most of the basic amenities are already operational. Compared to the previous Keybox which can make one feel a little tight, the new Keybox have the familiarity of the old Keybox yet it feels bigger. I feels like I had escaped from the hustle and bustle of city into a holiday chalet.

Actually the dim lightings will make it very difficult to take clear snapshots without using flash.

But it may not be dark enough to prevent video taking. The Boyztube video provided is a good example.

The best is to put up NO HP signs everywhere except the stipulated area which should be away from the lockers. And the signs will state clearly what are the penalties for breaking the rules, eg. Fine, Confiscate the hp, Banned from that sauna etc.

And all of us should be vigilant in keeping these people in check.

Actually if you cannot handle getting vendors to update your website becos you dunno how to get ftp and server details from who you paid services for, then please don't even think of indulging in the realm of database systems. A leak of any kind could see your doors possibly shut once again. Many times business owners just don't learn. They go on to collect heaps of personal information in the house and throw data security out of the window, until they land themselves in hot soup.

I seriously don't think there is a necessity to record name and age unless they suspect you are under age. Just like any bar here, they don't ask for your name age and nric before admitting you or serving you alcohol unless you look underage.

Having said that, Key Box did not insist on checking my ic the few times I went back in their old premises. But that was bcos I paid the full price and did not ask for any special cadet discount.

Yes, absolutely true and correct. Hercules also does not have this system.

Even straight saunas and spas do not have this procedure of showing identity card.

Key box should just allow those with old card to renew without showing IC. Many would think twice of patronizing Key box if it still persists with this requirement.
