but this is reminds me of my trip to Ho Chi Minh City last year. after read utopia about several sauna at that city, we headed to sauna just to find out most of it has been closed, only the 3rd sauna open.

 

its really annoying for tourist, to try navigate unfamiliar road just to find the place has been changed to other establishment. somemore its gay sauna so we were abit hesitate to ask openly. so disappointed with utopia-asia website.

 

and singapore is tourist hub, imagine those tourist that went all the way from wherever hotel they stay just to find locked door. really annoying.

It is really pointless to ask questions now that Keybox has reopened at a new venue.

What was done cannot be amend, so let the past be passed.

 

This time around, we need to prevent a repeat of the previous sudden closure by asking Keybox...

How long is this lease?  1-year, 2-years or more?

At least give us an answer... give us a piece of mind.

 

One more issue - to curb the anxiety of many.. just stick to mobile numbers, if you are looking to blast us with your messages.

But then again, most of us have registered with Do-Not-Call leh...  I think birthdates are ok ....less personal but at least it verifies that the client is of legal age...

Went to new KB this afternoon arn 5pm. Previous owner of OneSeven was sitting outside, maybe reminiscing over the good times he had in that place :-)

Since enough has been said about the registration already I'm not going to comment on that.

The management has done a great job renovating, in similar style as old KB. Locker room, shower area and maze are specious and clean and the temperature is just right. The sauna is not yet working but the steamroom is, and also at just the right temperature.

The staff are very friendly, although they seemed to be confused about the theme of the day :-) On entry they told me skin night starts at 6.30 which is also what it said on the website. But at 6.30 they announced through the speakers that it was underwear/swimwear night. Maybe not yet used to the routine as they have only been open a few days.

Anyways patrons were not confused and all walking around naked. Crowd pretty much all local, various builds and ages. Though probly the older and more stocky ones outnumbered the slimmer ones which was unfortunate for me as I am a fan of the latter. Not sure today is different from usual due to pre-CNY?

I had some introductory hanky panky with several guys in the steamroom and then in the maze before suddenly two guys decided to have their way with me... One pushed me down on the open mattress in the back of the maze, held my arms above my head and started kissing me while the other sat on my legs and sucked me passionately. It happened so quickly and I didn't expect it so while I was still figuring out what just happened suddenly I realised I couldn't go left or right... Both of them were bigger than me and quite strong... I was shocked but excited also, then another guy were joined and started fondling me, and held my legs while taking turns with the first one sucking me... Nowhere to go and at their mercy... As far as saunas go the new KB is nice but I would like to give owners a few points for improvement to consider:

1. The video room on the mezzanine in the maze doesn't have any paper towels like the room downstairs. Would be good to have that up there as obviously that space is used for more than watching the news.

2. The 'cafe' needs some decorum. It is not a nice space to sit as it is now. Maybe put some plants and hang something on the wall to give it a more welcoming touch?

3. Although the whole place is spacious, whoever designed it quickly ran out of creativity. Now the maze is mostly cubicles, only one small mattress downstairs and the video room upstairs allow for some group fun. Would be great to have more group space, like good old OneSeven used to have.

It also would be great to have gloryholes, there are enough corners and corridors in the maze where that could easily be done, similar to Cruiseclub or Shogun. Same is easily possible in the steamroom as well, in the middle where the metal rack is (whatever that is for, btw)

In all, I think new KB is an improvement over the old one. But it could use some further touch u

First of all, if u prefer younger and slimmer type, Sat is not a good day to go. Old KB used to be popular for its Mon and Tue crowd. (Until the Minahs and mature vampires spoilt the fun.)

And from what you have described, those two guys seemed to be those powerful mature vampires lurking in the dark preying on younger guys of smaller build.

I hope the dark area in the maze at new KB is not too dark to see those vampires. Old KB did brighten up the dark area in the maze a bit before its sudden closure.

went over the weekend, the crowd quality is like ten men? only a few of decent quality. Good steamroom, love it, and the maze/room area is decent. there is a lack sunbed for people to take a nap, love those at the old keybox. the gym/jaccuzzi does not look clean... 

 

the crowd seems to thin down alot maybe, people are unsure, would revisit again to check on the crowd.

First time come to the New Keybox. Love the new decoration and best is the sauna. The Jacuzzy swimming pool is excellent! There is a proper gym too. The crowd quality is definitely better than Ten Men and look similarly to Cruise Club. The open shower area is very spacious and may not be sufficient if the many people go shower at same time. Suggest to add more rain showers at the centre. Toilets are brighter would be better. Dark maze layout about same as the old Keybox.

The lay back is the TV area is not so relaxing with incline chairs like before.

Overall I rate the New Keybox: 9/10.

My friend told me sam the boss of former one seven is co-owner of the new keybox, therefore he is not just there to relive memories.

Anyway, here’s my field report on my visit after work on friday.

Layout wise, it is very similar to the layout of the former one seven, but with the design tones of kb, brown walls, chocolate lockers.

The one seven cafe has been removed, there is only a sitting area serving drinks and no food facing the jacuzzi.

Maze area is slightly bigger than the former kb, but much more uninteresting. I actually won’t call it a “maze”, but a dark space with rooms. Too dark, walkways way too wide, with no gloryholes, and no surprises. Boring much. With a bigger space, there is so much more which can be done, but maybe they wanted to keep it simple unlike one seven which had s&m chains and all which ultimately contributed to the death of a member there.

Crowd wise, I was expecting it to be crowded given that it is kb’s opening weekend.

However the crowd was thin, in terms of quantity and quality.

Mostly 17’s previous type of pioneer generation guys and weirdos.

The slim twinks from kb are countable by hand, not to mention finding “any hunks”.

Only managed to do a “half set” with a slightly ok looking guy, which turned out to be top too, so didn’t manage to do much. I left in an hour somewhat empty handed. Probably wouldn’t be heading back to kb anytime soon until it picks up.

There's always a long waiting time.

Ten men roof top garden is nice and spacious but quite under utilised. Quite a waste of space.

And Ten men no gym. Guys who go there dun exercise much. Haha.

And 10 men no cafe. Just a few sofa n tv for patrons to sit And eat. KB no cafe also. Just tables and chairs where patrons sit smoke and drink water.

As for 10 men movie room, sometimes I find it a distraction cos some days the men crowd ard there instead of cruising.

i love Ten men steam room though.

Cannot accommodate 30 la...maybe 20. Sometimes I go there just to steam.

But i prefer KB toilets and bath room. So big and clean.

KB inherited 17's hydro pool but I wun dare use it. Dunno how often they change water. And all those ppl sitting at the smoking area staring at you.

But then, like I said earlier, I prefer more mature stocky guys so I will patronise 10men more than KB.

The new KB is very well renovated, definitely the best and clean sauna now in Singapore from facilities point of view. Nicely done several private rooms, maze area, very good and ample showers and toilets (unlike Cruise!) , large pool, good steam room.  Crowd will also gradually improve once people know of the re-opening. Will clearly emerge as best No. 1 sauna in another one or two months time.  Entry fee is also very reasonable (maybe bcos it is still new and they want to attract customer:)) Anyway, everyone should visit once and judge for yourself.

I think I'll go there on Chinese New Year Eve afternoon. Maybe it'll be crowded because many people work half day. You guys can look for me there if you're interested in me. I'll leave at 6pm and go home for reunion dinner.
