The crowd there had a good proportion of twinks, hunks, mature males, bears and chubs, which is quite representative of the gay community. Today though, I'd say 30% of the patrons fit the twink description. They were probably there to take advantage of the free entry (18-24 year olds), like I was. I think most of them were NSFs because of their age and signature thick black specs. At night, most of the rooms were taken, so I saw many couples walking around the maze looking for one. Towards the closing hours, many rooms ran out of condoms, though if you don't mind you can either get them at the counter or other rooms. The shower area smelled quite badly of sweat, so I suggest air refresheners.The staff in general are quite cute and good-looking, especially the bearish guy who worked the night shift and wore a white shirt. Not a single room available. I think people going there simply to get cheap sleeping space overnite! I returned very disappointed as even when I found someone I could not find a place to have fun. I am not going there anymore. But renovated is looking good, no good quality people there. And never go on weekend as you will not find room because all these oldies and drunks are sleeping inside till morning! And I always found two old guys sleeping on the sofa like sick people in computer room...you will get very bad feeling as soon as you enter there. Even TMC is much better! KB is always the "old folk's home" or "refugee's camp", because of its long operating hours. It is like also a gambling den(mahjong) and a hotspot for theft.At the old KB location, me and lot of my friends all lost our $$$ in our wallet while we stayed over the night. (True Fact) Even heard it was an insider's job as I heard that one of the worker opened up the locker using the spare keys at the counter after he lost quite a bit at the mj game. (Hearsay)I heard he even stole a brand new ipad from one of the patron and caught red-handed with the I-pad in his locker. (Hearsay) That is why, I never had a good impression of that place at all. For example, when someone show the link of the video in boytube where it showed 2 guys being videoed having sex in the premise of KB. I was surprised that there was others leaking out, I personally seen another version of 2 twinks being video-graphed at KB by my friend.So getting informed, is a good way to take precautions against what that would be happening to you. Ok, here is the true account and feedback. PART 1First of all, the new location is really convenient. Only a few mins' walk opposite Clarke Quay MRT cum Central. And there is a famous bah kut teh eatery just beside it, can have dinner before going or supper after going.Entrance is along a side lane, not along the main road. The KEYBOX sign is not really big, one may just walk past it without noticing.Upon entering, I was greeted by its friendly staff who explained to me some new changes they have made, eg. free flow of drinks to replace drink coupon. The staff who served me told me to fill only my name, IC no. and DOB. He said NO CHECKING OF IC and just filled in the 7 digits for the IC no. I repeat, NO CHECKING OF IC. But I believe if you look too young or are applying as a new member, they may still check.After entering, you can really feel that it is indeed much more spacious than the old KB. But the theme of the interior design is very similar.The locker area is bigger and brighter. And there are cushion seats around which I think are meant for us to put on our shoes before leaving. But there were people sitting there using hps. KB management can consider the ban of any devices capable of recording at the locker area. If not, pls add organza curtains to block people from storing images of people changing. PART 2The spacious shower area and toilet cubicles are beside each other. No wonder there was a poster here who commented there was shitty smell at the shower area. There are five rain shower heads, and another two hidden from view at the end. This is cool because it is like a private shower area where people can get naughty there. But the urinal there spoils everything. It contributes to the shitty smell at that private shower area.The cafeteria, gym, steam room, "outdoor" jacuzzi pool are all very near to the shower area.PART 3The well-equiped gym occupies a decent space compared to the old KB's. But it seems to be under utilised.The jacuzzi pool is great too. But quality of water can be improved. But I am not sure was it the powerful water jets that caused the water to appear cloudy. Maybe can add some plants and lightings to give the jacuzzi pool area a "spa" feel.The cafeteria would be a nice place to take a break if not for the smoking. Ceiling fans are installed for airflow. But because of the ceiling fans, the smoke flies in all directions to the gym, jacuzzi and shower area. KB management can consider placing more chairs at jacuzzi pool area for smokers and keep the cafeteria smoke-free. And I hope they will not start a Mahjong table there like in old KB. I also hope KB will use back the drink coupon system because they do not provide disposable cups for the free flow sweetened drinks at the cafeteria. Even though the staff washed the cups regularly, but they were just using water, not detergent.Great movies were being played back to back at the cafeteria. It is a good location to take a clear look of people entering and leaving the shower area since it is quite bright there.Another place that was playing movies back to back was the TV area on the second level in the maze. The movies played here are different from the cafeteria. You can lie or sit on the big mattress to watch. But at 7pm, movie-playing will stop here, making this place dimmer and quieter and more conducive for fun. PART 4The vanity area near the counter where people freshen up or tidy up is very nicely done. Maybe can provide a hairdryer too besides mouthwash and hair gel.Is it possible to ban the use of devices capable of recording in this area too? Similarly for the computer area where people were seen lazing on the couch with their hps while others were surfing pxxx on the computers. If not, make these areas dimmer like in old KB.As for the overall cleanliness of the whole place, since it is still new, it is therefore still very clean. But I did see their staff kept doing their rounds to clear litters and rubbish, and using torch to check on the darker areas like the maze and rooms. In fact, the staff there was very prompt in ensuring the place is clean. One of them responded immediately to a request to clean the steam room because someone actually left his shit inside there, stinking the whole steam room. Not sure how this happened when the toilets are just few steps away from the steam room. Maybe got screwed too hard and started shitting.Besides being clean, new KB is safer too because the dark area in the maze and the steam room are not as dark as old KB's, making it less possible for vampires to strike. PART 5Ok, getting to the exciting part, and to answer FriCrowd's question.Last night's crowd was a mixture. Mostly made up of average Joes (NOT below average). Of course there are some whom people may use the term CMI on them. Most of these average Joes actually have chest and perky butts, sans Abs. But there were quite a number of fitties too. There were a few slim fit guys who looked good in their undies. Fri's theme starting from 7pm is swimwear or underwear, and the staff really went around to make sure everyone in the maze stick to the theme. And guys nowadays really wear nice undies!There were also a few muscle fit type. Saw one of them using the gym. And another one has a nice bubblebutt. Around 9pm, came a handsome and fit young Indian guy. He has a nice V-shape upper body as well as a small perky butt. There was also a fit mature guy with nice chest and abs.There were so much action at different corners. A guy was sucking a few guys off in the steam room. And people were groping one another inside the steam room too. There was also a hot groping orgy at the TV area, with a slim twink being sandwiched and serviced by a few guys, while some guys were having their own fun on the big mattress. Just like old KB, the crowd before 5pm are made up of mostly matures and oldies. I do agree with one of the comment that KB may have attracted TMC's crowd over too. But I told myself to wait, because from experience, the younger crowd will get larger after 6pm. And true enough, it happened.There were also more Caucasians here compared to the old venue. But all Daddy type, no young ones.Last but not least, NO vampire and minah spotted last evening. .
