I do not deny the facilities are good. But the crowd mix is horrendous. So many uncles. Too many already !!!! From my recent visits I can conclude 80% are uncles. Well if you like uncles with big tummy this is a heaven for you.

 

That is the reason why KB is making money and can afford to undergo renovation to improve its facilities.  More uncles, more business.  Now, I am quite concern for Cruise if 80% are below age 25.

Many sections to the maze this time round, the deeper part has a realllly dark maze, and there's a little section upstairs. There was a group fun going on earlier up there. And the reallllly dark maze has plenty of action too. Steam room was okay.

Review of the new place (last visit: 2 to 3 years)

Membership

For those with the old membership, you still can exchange the membership card for a new one. At the same time, just renew the membership for $10. To enter, just pay according to the age group (for me, it's $10 as I am 28 yo).

Facilities

The gym is still allocated a small area. However the weights and machines are still relatively new, ie not rusty.

Jacuzzi now occupies an outdoor area with a much bigger space. More spacious to relax in. However, if you are not tolerant of cigarettes, you might wish to avoid as it's just next to the smoking area.

Before the gym is a space where you can relax and watch TV. Speaking of TV, there are more TV now compared to the old place.

The locker areas are also more spacious and the numbers are continuous. So, it's easier to find our allocated locker.

The sinks are now allocated near the entrance. Easier access.

The computer area still houses 2 set of desktops and a L shaped sofa.

The hot spa is now split into 2 smaller room. Facing the hot spa, the one on our left is the dry room and the one on our right is wet and humid. Recommended to use the dry room. Wet room is a bit gross due to the slippery floor.

The maze and room area are now dimly lit. Allow time to adjust your visuals. As the other patrons had mentioned, there is a small little dark area in the second floor. The stairways is not lit. Just be careful as I almost trip as the intervals are quite high.

The dark maze area is more extensive now and following the maze can bring you to an area with three open rooms (for those who enjoy outdoors sex).

Crowd

I think the crowd is generally above 25yo. So, if this is not the crowd you are expecting, maybe just go elsewhere. Otherwise, I would generally say that the facilities have improved quite a bit compared to the old place. As for crowd, I think as it's probably the same group of people who visited in the past, just that now we are older.

I think Sunday crowd not bad. And before you jumped to conclusion that there are many below 25yo due to free entry, that's not the case. Most, IMO, seems to be 26yo to 30yo. Average 30yo. The dark maze experience today is relatively better than yesterday. Overall, pleasant experience. Managed to tease a few patrons despite them being not my type. Hahaha! Alright, that's should be all. OK, I am a late comer to this debate. Here is my perspective.  CC has a younger, better looking crowd, and KB has a more diverse group of men. I am not paying much attention to the proportion of each age group, as for me, it's not the most important factor.  But definitely the crowd is much better than the "sad troll" stated. Despite the presence of some aggressive,  unattractive guys in the dark maze area who would grab your dick without consent, you can find good matches to have fun at KB. I sure have, and with repeated enjoyable episodes with a few.

 

For the KB managers, perhaps a reminder should be posted on the entrance to request patrons to be more civilized.

Did the KB management replace the torn and tattered polyester coverings on the beds?

The last time I went, there were two rooms (at least) with this problem.

Really made it difficult to enjoy with such terrible house keeping. Dare not lie on the icky looking beds. Plus we were not allowed to bring towels into the dark maze because of the theme that night. So cannot use it to cover the torn patches.

Stopped going for 2 months. Has it been remedied?

Twice I went, twice were cold. Not even lukewarm. Another patron advised me against soaking in there as soaking in cold water for prolonged duration is not good for health care in long term.
