I went to check out the place, gym area is quite spacious but gym equipment still not say many lar. Free weights area is located on 1st floor directly infront of the counter. Reminds me of the mount faber gym. Find the bench press bench very hard, and the plate looks like "toy". The steam rm and the jacuzzi still not ready yet, wonder will it open for use next wk? I went for their open house last week to check out the gym, it is spacious with not too many machines (yet?), indeed. Although the jacuzzi is located inside the male changing room, it is actually outside in the open area (facing the HDB flats opposite the expressway). It is also a step up kind and if I didn't see wrongly, it is right beside the female jacuzzi (they were still doing some work at the jacuzzi), with see-through glass panel. Totally no privacy...Seriously, it is almost the same as putting the jacuzzi outside (near the swimming pool), since it is still rather "open". I think most would prefer the old one before the re-development where we could dip in the jacuzzi nude (really inside the enclosed male changing room), *sigh*... Here are some of my personal take on this new facility: as mentioned earlier in my previous post, the gym is still pretty "empty", I do hope they add new machines or at least a pair of each - most of the machines are the one and only, other than those treadmills.Shower cubicles seem to be much lesser than the old one, but very much more spacious in each cubicle. If only they could maximise the space to create more shower cubicles, it would be perfect. The steam room is big and spacious, which is better than the old one.And finally, the jacuzzi - only one this time but bigger. Like I said previously, it is in the open where those HDB flats across the expressway can easily see you if you dare to bare it all before you dip into the jacuzzi. I hope the management could really enclosed it, or at least sealed with a metre tall board (like advertisement board), so that it is still in the open and we could dip inside the jacuzzi nude, which is a win-win situation for all.Having said that, after the usage of the gym, I only tried out the steam room. There were already some people in the jacuzzi, plus I don't think I have the guts to bare it all "in the open" to use the jacuzzi. I can think of alternative way to use the jacuzzi, that is to go in with the towel, then the towel would be wet of course. Overall, I like the new place with the hope that they could "sealed up" slightly at the jacuzzi area. Quote Happy - is what we should be, always.
