alien
But are there places where the temperature of the jacuzzu and steam room could be adjusted? For TPY's branch, there were times the temperature was just right - not too hot, I wondered if the staff could actually change the temperature. If they could, then why don't they (since occasionally they measured the temperature of the water with a thermometer)...I dun see any temp adjust button in other branch? But the temp in other branch no prob with too hot or not hot. Quote 对自己好是一种幸福, 对别人好是一种积福。 Spend time counting your blessings, not airing your complaints. Link to comment

sphere
Not sure if those who are thinking of joining Safra E1 gym knows about the current promotion:$556.40 for 12 months (or $417.30 for 6 months), price inclusive of admin fee and GST, which is about $46.37 per month for the 12 month promotion. The usual entrance fee was $350 without the promotion, now it works out to be about $160 with promotion (assuming you deduct off the usual $30 monthly subscription). Renewal is still at $96.30 per quarter (includes GST) after the 12 month promotion (or the 6 month one).I thought it is quite a reasonable promotion for those who are keen, you can check its website for more details. Somehow their promotion(s) is quite rare/few.I thought this one wasn't too bad for starters, haha...Maybe they already think $30 per mth already very cheap, so no need promo?! But those 'high end' gym like cali etc, sometimes they may have special promo which can worked out ard $40 plus per mth. Just slightly ex than safra gym but those gym give more facilities. Haha. sphere
Well, I suppose the only thing California has on top of what Safra has would be those classes for members to attend? And the other "added facilities" would mean those pestering personal trainers? I rather not have them, haha... For me, I'm alright without those classes, so Safra is a better choice for me.Besides, if I want to, there's a swimming for us to use, which California does not have. Edited:Oh, if I'm not wrong, California needs their members to bring their own locks for the usage of lockers... Edited November 28, 2013 by sphere Quote Happy - is what we should be, always. alien
Correct, the only thing cali gym has is those classes. But some of those classes sometimes quite fun also, n the gym equipment shld have more than safra.Actually i find safra is much better than cali etc gym, since i rem tht safra gym does not like cali gym membership open to anyone. And so safra gym is less crowded since it is open to safra member or locals. But recently seems like safra gym can find all sorts of pple n crowded. sphere
Not too sure if there is change in how Safra recruit newer gym members, I sure don't hope they open up to anyone not related to "SAF", so that it won't be overcrowded like those commercial gyms, haha... Cos i asked them non safra member can join the gym or not. They said can but with some limitation n higher fees. So i asked again PRs can join or not, they said can. sphere
Ok, that sure "sounded bad", haha... Even if it is at a higher fee, I am guessing it is still cheaper than California or True Fitness, so they wouldn't mind paying that extra bit. Well, so far it is still "bearable" - in terms of crowd, just hope it won't get any worst... Quote Happy - is what we should be, always.
