Kelvin is a nice guy. Very friendly and chatty... and very professional.

I would rank his foot massage as the best in the whole damn world.

He's very strong and the pressure is excellent... maybe beyond excellent.

He also gives very good back massage for those with sore backs.

But one thing is, I don't think he belongs on this thread where people talks about getting happy ending and horny massage. That's why I hesitate to bring it up. But since someone else did, all I can say is one of the only thing I miss about Sgpore is Kelvin's massage and chats.

Although Raymond's skill is ok, I prefer a stronger massage, which he can't provide.

i think different people has different pain threshold.

i usually went over abt 7pm and often has to remind him to be less "power" when he massage me.

actually, you can ask him to apply more strength if you think he is not. you don't have to wait until the end of the session to realise that he is not power enough for you, right?

Having been to both, personally, I prefer Raymond's. Not saying that Kim Cheong's style isn't good, but as someone has said before, to each his own. Raymond's style appeals to me more - harder, more in-depth, and localized. Though one thing that I'm not a big fan of, is the Chinese vacuum cups. Being personally in the treatment massage line, though the vacuum cups do have their usefulness, but there are other ways to cure / treat an ailment without having to resort to them.

(Other notes: Wei Kang has 2 branches at Macpherson and Geylang Bahru, but those 2 branches massage bed is not being well partitioned from the public area, hence, the lack of privacy. The Bedok branch is completely partitioned with curtains. The package can be used in the other 2 branches, that is if you dun mind exposing your topless torso to those customers doing foot reflex near you.)

Gave this outlet a try yesterday around noon.When I stepped into the shop there was a woman and a man lounging on the foot massage chairs - no customers. The guy approached me and I requested for an hour massage. He had wanted to assign the woman to do my massage but I requested for a male masseur. He kind of reluctantly proceeded to do my massage after I took my shirt off and lied on the massage table. He had started with some thumb pressure on my neck area and within 5 minutes recieved a call on his handphone. Had left me to reply, could hear him talking for about 3 minutes, came back with one hand on the phone and one hand attempting to continue massaging my neck. Within 30 seconds he left again to thru the back door of the shop to continue with his conversation. Came back again after like 4 minutes when his call ended and continued with my neck - no apologies given for the interruption. He then went on to my left shoulder with this repeated pressing technique for the next 5 minutes or so. At this point I asked if he did oil massage... he said "You want oil??"... he applied the oil and continued with the same repeated pressing technique in the exact same area for the next 5 minutes. At this point I thought that it's been one of the worst massages I have experience and before my one shoulder becomes totally sored I told him to stop. I apologised for having to cut short my massage, he charged me $18 instead of $35.While I typed this, 2 things were obvious. It did not help me sleep and I still do feel a slight soresness in that one shoulder due to the massage.This place is a "must avoid" at all cost!

I was recently back in SG and chanced upon this guy on Grindr app on iPhone. He does traditional massage, so we arranged to meet the following day at his workplace (Pearl Centre). He came earlier than his opening hours to accommodate me.

This is the typical massage place you will find in Chinatown, forget about ambience, no sound proof. Anyway, I got there, changed in to a pair of shorts they provide, lie face down and he began with my neck and back. very nice and firm long strokes. I would say a fusion between Tui Na and Javanese? I was given an option of using massage oil or body lotion. I chose the lotion as I had a full day out after that, and it was a good choice as my skin felt more supple after that. Please note this is not a spa set up, so DO NOT expect soothing music. You will definitely hear conversations taking place outside the treatment room.

The verdict was: I walked out feeling lighter and totally relaxed. $45 for one hour, i had two. Have not felt this way in a long while. Will definitely go back again when I am back in SG.

Kelvin is his name: Yeng Kong is the name of the shop, Pearl Centre #02-10. This is the building which houses the infamous Yangtze Cinema. Next to Outram Park MRT Station.

He has a very decent, professional demeanour and has a friendly disposition and kindly smile. For his attitude, and the fact that he was willing to accommodate me past the shop's opening hours, I give him 10/10!

Don't expect too much in the way of frills, etc - in that joint, though, otherwise you'll be disappointed. Feel free to give Kelvin feedback; he wasn't very chatty with me initially but I figured it was because I looked too serious and stern at first, and he thought I wanted some peace and quiet. So in that way, he knows how to assess his client's mood.

Please give this guy business cos he's one good guy just out to make a decent living.

Am sure all masseur's out there are making a decent living, whether is it homebased or shops. But some stupid people out there just love to SABO them. If you are not happy with the masseur, then don't go anymore. Why must you make things difficult for the masseur's and spoil their rice bowl. Just because the masseur don't do extra's or don't give you a BJ, you write very bad report about them. All massuer's are human, please have some consideration for them. They are just making a decent living, not your sex slave. :thumb:

Ya when the thread is too long too lazy to read right. there is HML listing u can do the reading so many from bedok but also so many complaints abt masseurs in bedok areas.

AMK area also have so many masseurs like Ang, Hann, Rocky, Ethan,Colin, zuly, sam, eddie, ...etc go do a check on the thread n u will see some of their comments. read bet lines n try urself. our taste may not be yr taste. have tried all except zuly and sam
