Been inactive for so long due to busy work week, and finally I have time to write this review.

 

On Wednesday I decided that I needed a massage. I wanted to try somewhere new, and a massage Center in Sri Petaling crossed my mind. This place is called Four Season Palace Family Wellness Center Sri Petaling. It opened last year and I see it everyday as I travel to work, but never had the chance to try. I looked it up online, and saw that it only had 1 review on Google Map, and it's 1 out of 5 stars. Got me wondering whether it was really that bad, because the exterior of the massage center looked quite fancy. So I called up and made some inquiries, and I decided to try, so I made a booking with a Male Masseur, hinted the local lady receptionist that I need someone who gives strong massage because I am a plus size.

 

So I arrived at the center few minutes before my booking time. It is located in the center of Sri Petaling where it is very happening with lots of shops and restaurants. Parking was not easy but there is a multilevel parking complex where the Sri Petaling Wet Market is. The facade of Four Season Palace looked very grand, which was why I didn't dare to visit even though it was opened for a year already. Upon entering the premise, the receptionist welcomed me and called out my masseur, Number 99. She also asked me if I am okay with oil for my massage

 

Now before coming, I already learnt from the receptionist that all masseurs here, no matter male or female, are from China. Not local Chinese, but from Mainland China. My masseur Mr 99 (coded by the center haha) came to the counter, he's a tall guy in his 30s, with shining bald head, a pair of thick but neat eyebrows, wearing his mask and gestured for me to follow him. He has the aura of a manly proud straight Chinese guy haha. I followed him to the second floor, where the body massage area was. The center had good ambiance and was nicely renovated, but it was not as glamorous as I expected, and I've seen nicer place. So the massage area consists of several partitioned areas where the massage beds were, and they were partitioned by only curtains. It was a sign that this is indeed a family friendly establishment.

 

So the masseur handed me a golden colored shorts with fabric that looked like silk (not silk tho haha) for me to change into for the massage, said it's the biggest they have. It looked like the clothing that Chinese emperors would wear haha except it's just the shorts. I tried it on, and it fit but didn't feel comfy. So I asked to remain in my own boxers. He said ok. I got onto the massage bed with a hole where your face is supposed to be placed upon, the bed was set up very properly with 4 different towels on it for different functions. I lied facing down into the hole, and the massage started.

 

My Chinese masseur was using his Finger Pressure Point technique (指压) that did not need oil. He was wearing mask throughout the massage and he pressed my body through a thin cloth. It started from my back and spine. His massage was very accurate and he was able to exert a lot of pressure on my sore muscles, in the muscles between main muscles and around each section of my backbone. He asked if the force applied was enough and I said it was good. The massage continued to the back of my thighs, my calves, back of the arm, neck and base of my skull. My masseur was giving it to me hard and no bullshit. It was like he was pushing blood from my lower back, down my thighs right through the middle of my thighs and my legs then my feet. You could feel the blood flow. When he removed the thin clothing on my back, he told me that my back was very red. My whole body was emitting heat like crazy. He said it's because I have wetness and heat trapped in my body, and asked is I ever tried guasha and cupping. I said I have not tried and although he recommended it, I told him I would try next time, truth is I didn't want to have marks on my back. 

 

So nothing naughty happened, but when he was standing in front of my doing my back, with my head facing downwards in the hole, I folded my hands and placed in front of my head. Overall, the experience at Four Season Palace was very pleasant, but I only tried one masseur, so I don't know about the other male masseurs there. Will I repeat it? Yes, when I need a no hanky panky, hard and good Chinese Style Massage where they press the shit out of you, at a cheap and reasonable rate. It's way more cheaper than Mr S. But like I mentioned, the massage space was just partitioned by curtains, so there is not much chance for hanky panky. Same experience as the last time I went there around a month or so ago. People are shy there. But in my case at least, my ectomorph, non bear-ish build could have played a a factor in me not getting much action there :D
