easy2read Posted May 19, 2010 Report Share Posted May 19, 2010 we will be staying at thavorn beach village and resort at phuket, after that we will move to ananta burin resort at krabi, then we will go to koh lanta and stay at cha-da beach resort and spa. the next few days after koh lanta are not decided yet. we will go by jetstar, only S$375 for 2 persons. we also opt for travel insurance for $42 per person. hotel so far we've already spent $800 for 9 nights stay. my bf said koh pipi was too commercialised so we wouldnt visit this island. we are looking for places where we can snorkel. Blue Dolphin is expansive and they ask around 700B only for the service. You have to add the payement of the massage!! The best is to go to Bali!!! xmikeex Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 when i was there i stayed at patong beach resort wif my ex bf. its a nice place to stay as its onli like 3mins walk away from the beach.. u must try the crepes by the side of the road.. its dam good and dam cheap.. other then that try the bungee jumping if ur into thrills.. haha hmm other then that if ure staying near the patong area then bangla street is where u find the night life of the town.. walk all the out of bangla street and make a few turns u'll find the aj pubs oh u should also watch the simon ca-berate show hahaha its dam entertaining and the props and stage works are dam good have a safe trip and enjoy miss phuket though Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

abang Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 Patong Beach is the place you would want to be in Phuket if this is your first trip there.Google search for hotels .. find something along $40 per night is sufficient as you wouldnt be sleeping in it much. It should be about 10 to 15 mins walk to Jungceylon Shopping Centre, where you can buy your shampoo and stuff at Carrefour.I stayed at the Andatel which was pleasantly nice....PM if you need more assistance. abang Posted November 20, 2011 Report Share Posted November 20, 2011 Just return from a 4days,3 nights short trip to Phuket.Prices of many items had gone up again.This time, the shelves of many supermarket were semi-empty as stocks/supplies were delayed by the floods.Once again, manage to get a good tan in my g-string at Patong Beach.The deck chairs had gone up to 100Baht but it was still crowded.Men of all types were there - many cute Russian boys..yummy! Show at 10:30pm and 11:30pm. A few agogo boys there are quite goodlooking and tall hehe... ^^ Got eyeing by 3 boys. One looking like sissy btm. One looking like flex and te other one is dj. It seems that there are more Malays than Thais over there, just for the record. It feels more part of Malaysia. There was only a very run down A go go bar when I was last there. Dont recall any gay massage parlour as well. If you are very used to BKK, u wont like it over there. If u prefer beach, I would rather u go to pataya. I was there once around 10 yrs back, and I wont go back again.
