I went to ABC sauna before and that time wasn't a good experience. is abc not good? ive done some research and have concluded that abc, alexander, jungle and hutong are the ones with more of a younger crowd. Hutong should be your best bet, but it has a door policy, so... Anyone know of any other ones and reviews of the above listed saunas? jammyhk01
Hey Jammyhk,Where would you recommend then?It depends on what you want to do. For shopping, Tsim Sha Tsui is really convenient but crowded with mainland Chinese tourists. I think there are cheaper ones around Yau Ma Tei or Jordan, but the quality may not be that good. Johnsontan
Looks like many going to HK on solo vacation ... I like the free and easy type and not get tied down by accompanying friends' requests. Even when travelling overseas, we have one or two days when we go solo. Thinking of going to HK alone to explore the island slow and easy A few quick questions. How long should I stay there if I want to explore the island decently?
alien
Its all depends on urself, where u want to go and wht is ur pace in exploring the island, also how long are u able to commit urself by staying in hk. abang
There are many interesting places to go in HK...- you could take a cable car to see the Big Buddha...- you could go the the infamous Gay beaches at Middle bay or Chang Sha in Lantau- you could venture to Alexandra, the gay sauna at Mong Kok- you could savour the fragrance of REAL HK dim-sum at Lian-Xiang at Sheung Wan- you could browse at the wide variety of books at Cheng Ping BookStore (mainly in Chinese)- you could finally squeeze with the mainlanders in the MTR ... No don't go Macau - unless you really want to see Kwan Yin Statue..

Well for most hotels, as long as you pay their "rack" rate (which is their base rate), you can cancel it 24H prior arrival or even 4PM or 6PM same day as check-in. Of course it's more expensive but it;s flexible, same as air tickets. Or you can book with points or cash and points, also super flex, which is what i did. Trying the Hyatt Regency TST this time... I usually don't like staying on Kowloon side but everything is just sooo friggin' expensive there....
