First, I believe the list of ideals evolves with time. You might be unlucky you were the one that made him aware of a new criterion.

Second, he spent his time getting to know you as well. If only your time has worth hence can be wasted, then you think too highly of yourself.

Third, the quest to find love is ever time-consuming, isn't it?

Last but not least, rejection is normal. If you can reject people (I am sure you do), then people can reject you too.

To make it short,

1. It was just a gentle reminder. Take it or skip it. That's simple. 

2. Yes you are right. I reject people and I get rejected by people as well. But the point is not about the rejection.

3. Yes, it is time consuming. So reminder is one of the ways to make it more efficient (for the next person). In other words, you may want to spend time on someone together (meetup and chatting) instead of ticking on a checklist in your heart. 

 

Btw, everyone has own filter system in finding the true love. I don't judge but I don't like the checklist system personally. I voice out my preference.
