Guest Ed
I noticed lately that a ring of small little flesh colored bumps have developed around the head of my penis. Was worried that it might be warts or something. But when I goggled it, found out there were something called pearly penile papules. It's not an STD or a disease but instead its supposed to be a normal condition that some guys especially uncircumcised men develop in their twenties. Seen it on another guy before. Goggle the term pearly penile papules for some pictures.Does anyone else here have this condition? How do you deal with it?
Mercutio
Unless you are yourself a doctor specializing in communicable diseases, I'd suggest you get it checked out regardless. Guest Guest
This is a very normal condition for most of uncircumcised men. Just like birthmark, moles etc, the only way to 'deal' with it is by surgery which is needles in my opinion..

Guest Ed
Hi, I'm 25 this year. Just noticed the bumps this year. Don't remember having it when I was younger. Have anyone else encountered it as well?
bodybuildMLY
I have some and went to see my family doctor...and he look for a second and said "Haiyah! it normal, lah!" Nothing to shout about. I am living with it for more than a decade and there is nothing wrong with it.
Guest Ed
Thanks for sharing man. But how do other guys react when they see it? I know there's nothing wrong, but another guy might think it's an STD or warts or something. How do you deal with that?
forwtv88
Well. I'm 23 this year. I had ppp since i could remember. To me, it affected my confidence when it came to sex. And if you're into casual fun, most people wouldn't know that it is benign and think its an STD, and then that's the end of it, no fun. So 2 years back, went to see a urologist, he told me it was benign, but I already knew that. So I asked him how much it would cost to remove them, the total cost came up to slightly more than $1000 using carbon dioxide laser. That was really expensive. Paid $90 consultation fees just for that. So anyway, long story short, when I was studying in Melbourne, I googled the procedure and found a place that did it for $350, went for it and never turned back. Its pretty scary at first since its only a local anetsthatic. Seeing the needle to numb your penis get pierced into it wasn't the best feeling, But once that is done, you couldn't feel much after. My ppp was pretty bad, there were 3 lines of it at the shaft of my penis, so maybe thats why it bled quite a bit after. It stung a bit for the next few days and I walked like a duck. something like being circumcised I would assume. And when you get a hard on.... pretty uncomfortable. Had to dress it with gauze and change that twice a day which is always a chore. You probably don't want to do anything too strenuous for the next few days. I'm not sure how much the CO2 laser here cost now. Maybe you should call up a laser clinic that has a CO2 laser and ask if they do the procedure and how much it would cost. For me, the doctor who did the laser missed a 2-3 spots, but it it cant be noticed. I should have gone back for a touch up but I was already back in sg.anyway. i hope this helps. I'm not sure if the procedure has changed in the past 2 years, but I don't think it would have that much. If you need anything else, feel free to pm me. All the best. Guest Ed
Thanks man for sharing. I read about CO2 laser. But it does sound quite scary. Does the papules grow back after laser removal? The thing is, no one seems to know why some guys develop these. Hmm, are you circumcised? Read that it's far more common in uncircumcised man. I'm not cut by the way. I think I'll just live with it for the moment. My condition isn't too severe, just a single ring at the moment.Just curious, how does CO2 laser works? Will your penis be flaccid or erect during the operation? What happens if you get an erection?
forwtv88
no. im not circumsized. and they havent grown back after 2 years. i dont think they will. fingers crossed.apparently 10% of all guys have it.... but from my experiences... lol... the figures don't tally. think its less..the procedure is not that scary. its just the injection bit that is. just don't look and pinch yourself.. haha. thats what i did.well, i doubt anyone can get an erection after the injection. you cant feel your penis anyway. and you would be too nervous to get one. unless of course its your kinda thing. lol. but the doctor would now what to do if a patient ever gets one. i actually reckon it might be easier to zap off coz in my case, when i still had them, they were more visible with a hard on. as for the procedure. The laser is emitted from a pen like tool connected to the machine. so after the numbing sets in, the doctor just starts zapping away. then dresses it with gauze. get some pain killers for the discomfort that will be felt for the next few days. chokchai
I had these, and eventually went to a doctor in London who advertised that he removes them. No injection, just anasthetic cream, and then removal with electro-cauterisation (I think that describes it). That was about three or four years ago and they have not come back. To be honest, I wish I'd had them removed years ago. I once had a guy refuse to have sex with me because of them . . . . I feel so much better about my dick since I had them removed

kimlo777
I once bj a teenager who had a string of ppp all round the edge of his glans. I thought it was kind of nice to feel his tiny pearls scraping my tongue as I blew him. Added that extra sensation. So far only seen 2 guys with ppp - one is this 19yo teenage I met at Sim Lim Square and the other a Taiwanese friend who was visiting Sg and I hooked up with him for a ons. Enjoyed the sex with both. Guest Thesaltyspatoon
What you gentlemen were talking about up there was hyfecator procedure not co2. Its much cheaper and nothing to worry about i just had it done literally two weeks ago and im completely normal now, Its honestly to good to be true. I finally have some confidence and dont worry about my wang being hideous. It can be done, have faith and find a dermatologist to do hyfrecator surgery. I asked multiple dermatologists before this one and they all said they wouldnt help me itd leave scars, its been two weeks only and no scars......... they obviously didnt give a crape about my mental anguish. Find the right doctor he will do it.

Guest Guest
I ever had sex with someone with this condition. As I knew its not infectious I wasn't bothered by it. But I must say those who are ignorant will defintely run away immediately on seeing it. Luckily I didn't because the next time we sex again, his cock glan was all smooth and normal. The two occasions were months of break in between.

Guest guest
Oh I have something to say about this. I am now in my early 30s and I use to have these PPP since teens. Interestingly, they disappeared some time last year. I suspect it's because I began to use aloe vera gel to masturbate or receive handjobs during the last 2 years, but I'm not very sure. Because other than the use of aloe vera gel, there hasn't been much change in my lifestyle, I would attribute their disappearance to the use of that. I wouldnt do this.... because i am not a dermatologist/doctor so it is still better for a certified doctor to do it. My dermatologist charged me 400 for the electro procedure( considering i have q a bit) ,havent regretted it. Well, if u are okay with the risk that comes along(eg infections), then the above might be okay to save cost
