MDA's stance is reflecting the community's perspective and not promoting alternative lifestyle.

Thus, mediacorp has to follow the guidelines otherwise they will be fined if there's a complain (like what happened a few years back regarding a Sunday morning interior decor show).

>I feel so sorry for people who buy that crap explanation.

Hopefully, as the world moves towards accepting gays, Singapore would catch up and then MDA will reflect the community's perspective...

>you can hope all you want, but no one's gonna hand you anything on a silver platter.

The only "gay" word being said on that episode was by Rachel, at the end in the Limabean scene.

Let's see next week, which part they cut for "Original Song" episode. Kissing scene is in that episode.

Offtopic: This is the first time I've seen girls going GAGA over a feminie guy who is 100% gay. Talking about those fan clubs in the western countries (USA, Europe)...

I am ENRAGED! good thing I watched Season 2 Episode 12 on Funsion.

The `gay scenes' were cut from that episode!

The one where Blaine (Darren Criss) sang in a GAP store expressing himself to his love interest.

argh!!!!!

First it was the kiss between Kurt and the football guy, now this!

I am not watching Glee on xinmsn anymore!

Will watch it on Funsion from now on.

@$*^*)#*^$!!

And oh, Darren has such a nice tone in his singing voice; I am a fan! :-)

Season 3 will be out on 20 Sep, just a month+ away.

Ok that's hella long but it's probably worth the wait.

Season 3 new characters:

Another fresh face will be turning up in the halls of McKinley High when Glee returns this fall.

American Dreams alum Vanessa Lengies is joining the Fox hit’s Season 3 cast in the recurring role of Sugar, a new student who is described as a cross between Molly Shannon and a New Jersey Housewife.

Sugar was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and a tin ear. Basically, she can’t carry a tune to save her life, but I’m guessing that won’t stop her from auditioning for a spot in New Directions.

The casting of Lengies, who currently plays Nurse Kelly Epson on TNT’s HawthoRNe, comes just hours after Friday Night Lights‘ LaMarcus Tinker was tapped to recur as a new love interest for Amber Riley’s Mercedes.

Well not really. He came back and apologized only because he was threaten by Santana if not he will be outed. But i always think that he and kurt should be together better than the harry porter guy Blaine. One is so burly and manly and the other one so soft and feminine. Such perfect couple that i was rooting for. Would love to be bully/protected by him too.

Heres my fav quote that episode:

Santana: I know that u r gay.

Max: What? Who told u that?

Santana: No one have to tell me. Well first of all i saw u checkin out Sam's ass the other day.

Max: I didnt. I was just seeing what jeans he was wearing!

Santana: Like thats any less gay!

Great Line! :thumb:

There is some (spoken/unspoken) law that criminalizes any displaying of a positive image of Homosexuals / Homosexuality.

And thus, the local population will never move ahead in progression.

Eventually, the rest of the progressive world will lump Singapore's backward cultural enforcement with the likes of countries which execute homosexuals.

I think there is this concern on the government's part to shield people from anything gay for fear of exposure to anything homosexual will result in people becoming gay. Hence the need for censorship...

Maybe I should start a Singapore gay immigration service... to encourage gays in Sg to migrate and settle and work in cities and countries around the world where we are accepted as who we are.

Love.

I totally agree! Did anyone catch the episode Born This Way? If I didn't remember wrongly they cut out entire part where Kurt sings

/speaks "it doesn't matter if you love him or capital him", man even his shirt was censored. There wasn't a single shot where Channel 5 audiences get to see his Likes Boys tee. Talk about backwards. Really embarassed to be part of a society that's so narrow minded.

One of the most engaging series I've watched.

I like Ianto too... especially the little things he did, like the way he sometimes looked at Jack longingly...

By the way, the clip by TS comes from my favourite episode.

Beautiful.

till now I am surprised Mediacorp showing this in their channels.

This HBO TV Series was like "Sex and the City" but the guys version, the amount of sex per episode were appeal to those who like it. Not to mention scenes after scenes of hot men in their loin clothes...

its a tv show. i heard of that show before and did not catch it on TV, until.. i saw my neighbours watching it from my room and OMG! i saw a naked buff man!!!! that got me inyerested. the production value is excellent and the word that they spew is like pxxn!like 'is his cock huge when engorged'. or a slave is sent to fxxk spartacus as the lady owner dont want him to 'spill his seed' too fast!

I have not watch the series on Channel 5 but caught it on DVD/Internet.

Would I dare say that it must be heavily censored due to the gory and sex scenes?

Andy Whtifield, the lead actor died within a year of filming this 1st season at the age of 39.

He was a 'sensitive/serious/adorable' hunk!

my heart broke when Karofsky confessed to Kurt. cos it made me realize we've all forgotten what love is. as we are now, always searching for someone of the right body type, the right sexual position and everything, think we forgot that love is just love.

and oh yeah, Mercede's cover of I Will Always Love You was amazing and if imchaser was right, then freaky coincidence but they slipped a note to Whitney at the end!

how come no one is shouting about how Mike Chang can actually sing? After Mercedes' I will always love you (heart-rendingly perfect) i thought his duet with Tina was the next best song in this latest ep.

at the risk of straying off topic: when is someone going to start a Smash thread? Although i have to admit Ivy's voice is much more "broadway", I am very much Team Karen! (and i think it will take many more episodes for Grace to turn into Julia for me.)

Just premiered on NBC (production of DreamWorks Television) on February 6, 2012, Smash is the newest US musical drama series (the 1st after Glee) created by Theresa Rebeck and produced by Steven Spielberg.

In a nutshell, the show revolves around the creation of a new Broadway musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. As the production takes shape, everyone involved in it must balance their often chaotic personal lives with the all-consuming demands of a life in the theatre. The series features original music by composers Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (most famous for their work on the musical Hairspray and more recently, the musical adaptation of Catch Me If You Can).

Just to mention a few of the stars in the show, it features:

Debra Messing (Emmy winner for "Will & Grace") as Julia Houston, a songwriter/lyricist and the musical's co-writer

Jack Davenport (you may know him from the Pirates of The Caribbean film series) as Derek Wills, the brilliant (and womanizing) director of the musical, who is hoping for a breakout with the musical even if it means putting the lead in a compromising position

Katharine McPhee (American Idol season 4 1st runner up to Taylor Hicks) as Karen Cartwright, an Iowan who lands a successful audition and becomes the favorite for the role of Monroe.

Anjelica Huston (Oscar winner for "Prizzi's Honor", Golden Globe nominee for her role as Morticia Addams in "The Addams Family" & "Addams Family Values" and of course who could forget her role as the Grand High Witch in the "The Witches") as Eileen Rand, the musical's tenacious producer, who is dealing with divorce proceedings from her husband, which could threaten the musical

So far, 3 episodes have aired and I LOVE the songs!!!

Especially this one from the pilot!
