‘The allegations do not involve minors or lay members of the faithful, and they do not implicate any kind of illegal or criminal behavior,’ Nienstedt said.
 

According to the religious leader’s lawyers, the investigators have received about 10 sworn statements alleging sexual impropriety on the part of the archbishop dating from his time as priest, bishop and archbishop.
 

In December last year, Nienstedt was accused of touching a boy’s buttocks while posing for a confirmation photo.
 

He denied the allegation and took a leave while the county prosecutor investigated. The authorities did not bring charges and Nienstedt returned to his post in March.
 

Nienstedt is one of the most homophobic voices in the US Catholic Church.
 

He has said homosexuality is a ‘result of psychological trauma’ and ‘must be understood in the context of other human disorders: envy, malice, greed, etc’.

The women, both students aged 20 and 21, were not initially suspected of breaching ‘close proximity’ laws but officers became wary when the women remained silent as they searched the room.

Glad that you put things in perspective, a hotel room is indeed a public place, whenever I checked into hotels , I always knock on the walls between rooms to check if they are solid brick concrete walls or those dry wall made from wood and plywood and wall paper, if the rooms are dry walled , i will make sure i do not do anuthing that will arouse the neighbouring room that some sort of gay sex is taking place, if your neighbour hears something suspicious and decides to report it to police, hah then kena forced strip and hard questioning in Malaysia , sure confessed to police one. especially in Malaysia.

Long ago, I met someone and we went to that hotel at Upper Serangoon Road. We were having sex when the cops busted in literally.
