You should be concerned that if 377A gets rejected the tectonic plate under Singapore may sink and half the island will be covered by the sea. Furthermore, if you guys keep masturbating and same-sex is legalized, the plate will sink even more and the whole island will be swallowed by the waters, with only some tall building still sticking out as a reminder of what once was there... Mahatir and his predecessors continuously towed the party line against the LGBT community and waxed lyrical about not having western values imposed in their country. Mahatir has stated he will stay in office for just two years. His deputy is Anwar Ibrahim’s wife and his designated successor is once again Anwar himself. Given the tragedy of Anwar’s fall from grace during Mahatir’s first period in office on what are generally accepted as trumped up charges and again during the recent alleged monster crook’s administration, might we expect Anwar to attempt some form of easing of the country’s position on homosexuality? It will not be easy but if anyone can do it, perhaps he is the one. It's just the opposite... Due to the past allegations and his background Anwar will not touch the topic. I think your guess goes totally fail. If he does the media will claim he is gay. Therefore Anwar will keep quiet on this....

GachiMuchi
Tunisia is forcing men suspected of being gay to undergo anal examinations Tunisia, in north Africa, punishes same-sex conduct with up to three years in prison An illustration of a forced anal examination in Tunisia (Courtesy of Human Rights Watch) 9 November 2018 0:57 GMT Rik Glauert Tunisia is prosecuting people suspected of being gay under the country’s anti-gay laws. Authorities use private information on suspects’ phones to extract confessions, according to Human Rights Watch (HRW). What’s more, Tunisia forces suspects to undergo anal exams. HRW denounces these as ‘cruel, degrading, and inhuman’. Article 230 of Tunisia’s penal code punishes consensual same-sex conduct with up to three years in prison. ‘The Tunisian authorities have no business meddling in people’s private sexual practices, brutalizing and humiliating them under the guise of enforcing discriminatory laws,’ said Amna Guellali, Tunisia director at HRW. HRW urged parliament to quickly abolish Article 230. It should also enact a law to protect people’s privacy. Furthermore, public prosecutors should abandon sodomy cases and investigate police ill-treatment of LGBTI individuals. In June, it looked as though Tunisia may decriminalize gay sex. The country’s equality committee recommended to reform the law. LGBTI activists in Tunisia are very active, despite the threat of punishment. Earlier this year they held demonstrations protesting the gay sex ban and even hosted the country’s first LGBTI film festival. But, police shut down the demonstrations for the protesters ‘own security’. Locked up and pushed out HRW spoke to six people that had been prosecuted under 230 in the last two years. It reviewed a further five cases in court documents. Some men spent months in prison. Three fled Tunisia and sought asylum in Europe. Furthermore, police mistreated those arrested suspected of being gay. Authorities forced them to confess and denied their access to lawyers. Police arrested a 17-year old three times under the repressive sodomy law, according to HRW. They forced him to undergo an anal examination. He also spent months in detention and undergoing conversion therapy. A 32-year-old, that HRW spoke to in June 2018, went to police to file a complain after he was allegedly gang-raped. Police conducted anal tests on him. Authorities tried to determine if he was ‘used to practicing sodomy’. ‘How is it their business to intrude into my intimate parts and check whether I am “used to sodomy”?’ he asked HRW. Guest indonesia
Gay couple arrested in Bandung for running LGBT Facebook page Published Oct 20, 2018, 4:25 pm SGT JAKARTA (JAKARTA POST/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) -The West Java Police have arrested a man and his partner for allegedly running a Facebook page for the gay community in Bandung, West Java, in Indonesia's first case of criminalisation of homosexual hangouts on social media. Police raided on Thursday (Oct 18) a house in Batununggal rented by the man, identified only as IS, who allegedly created the "Gay Bandung" page in October 2015. They also confiscated five cellphones and 25 condoms. "They connect and matchmake people who want to make same-sex friendships," the police's special crimes deputy director, Adjutant Chief Commander Hari Brata, said on Friday. The Facebook group reportedly has 4,093 active followers of various ages, including teenagers. A wave of anti-LGBT sentiment has swept across the conservative province of West Java, as public anxiety rises over LGBT groups on social media. Another Facebook page for young gay people triggered controversy in Garut regency two weeks ago, triggering a call from school principals to ban LGBT students at schools. The Cianjur regency administration issued a circular on Monday, instructing all subdistrict heads in the regency to ensure that sermons during Friday prayers discuss the so-called dangers of homosexuality as a lifestyle. The instruction cited a report by the Aids Prevention Commission (KPA) of Cianjur which claimed that the number of LGBT people had risen significantly in the regency. The Bandung case marked the first police crackdown on online LGBT groups, who usually keep a low profile in the largely conservative and religious society. The suspects have been charged under Article 27, Point 1 of the Electronic Transactions and Information (ITE) Law on transmitting and spreading electronic information containing immorality. The law carries a maximum sentence of six years' imprisonment and a maximum fine of one billion rupiah (S$90,888).
Guest indonesia
Facebook page for gay students stirs controversy in Garut Rizki Fachriansyah Rizki Fachriansyah The Jakarta Post Jakarta | Wed, October 10, 2018 | 06:57 pm The Facebook page, “Kumpulan Barudak Gay SMP/SMA Garut” (A Community of Garut Gay Middle School/High School Students), which has amassed around 2,600 members, is currently under investigation. (Shutterstock/Anikei) A Facebook group page that claims to be a online hangout place for young gay people from Garut, West Java, has sent the religiously conservative regency into a moral panic. Hundreds of school principals in Garut gathered on Wednesday to publicly denounce the presence of the LGBT community in school, as reported by kompas.com. The Garut Education Agency's head of the middle school division, Totong, said the public denouncement represented the collective resistance of school principals against the LGBT community. However, he said he had yet to identify which students were a part of the Facebook community. As part of an effort to eradicate homosexuality in schools, he said the education agency would instruct school principals to engage students in religious programs. In addition, teachers will also be encouraged to arrive at their respective schools earlier in the morning to check on their students. “Since earlier this year, we’ve prohibited cellphones in schools. We’ve also confiscated cellphones of students who violated the rule,” Totong said, adding that involvement in gay communities would result in expulsion. The Facebook page, “Kumpulan Barudak Gay SMP/SMA Garut” (A Community of Garut Gay Middle School/High School Students), which has amassed around 2,600 members, is currently under investigation. Garut National and Political Unity Office (Kesbangpol) head Wahyudijaya of the said the office had coordinated with the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) to identify Facebook accounts associated with the page. In addition, he said the agency had also cooperated with the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) to discuss further action regarding the case. Meanwhile, KPAI commissioner for education Retno Listyarti urged the government to implement a strict system that prevents children from being involved in LGBT campaigns. “Children do not yet have a sexual orientation. Things such as the gay Facebook page could potentially distort the way children view themselves,” she said in a statement. Communications and Information Ministry spokesman Ferdinandus Setu said in a statement that the ministry’s internet content division would restrict access to the Facebook page if it contained pornographic material. Furthermore, he said the ministry would coordinate with the Garut Police for further investigation into the case. Indonesia does not legally ban homosexuality, but the country has seen a rise in anti-LGBT sentiments in recent years. GachiMuchi
Taiwan votes against equal marriage in major blow to LGBTI community BREAKING: Marriage will stay between a 'man and a woman' in the Civil Code Anti-LGBTI rally in Taiwan | Photo: GagaTai (republished with permission) 24 November 2018 13:34 GMT Rik Glauert and James Besanvalle Taiwan just voted against equal marriage in the country today (24 November). It held a referendum on several LGBTI issues, including whether to change the Civil Code definition of marriage to two ‘people’ rather than a ‘man and a woman’. But in a devastating blow to the LGBTI community, voters rejected marriage equality. For any referendum to pass, it needs a result of 4.95 million people voting in favor, according to the Central Election Commission. At the time of writing, just over 5 million people voted to keep the Civil Code to the ‘man and a woman’ definition, with only roughly 1.5 million voting to change it. In today’s referendum, Taiwanese people voted in five LGBTI-specific questions: Case 10 asked if the definition of marriage should stay between a man and a woman. Voters said yes. Case 11 asked if gender equality education should be taught in elementary and middle schools. Voters said no. Case 12 asked if voters believed in giving same-sex couples who live together legal protections, without changing the Civil Code. Voters said yes. Case 14 asked if voters wanted to change the Civil Code to offer same-sex marriage. Voters said no. Case 15 asked if schools should teach all students about ‘gender equality, emotional education, sex education and same-sex education’. Voters said no. Miao Poya launched the two pro-referendum petitions and said after the announcement of the losses: ‘Start tomorrow with a heavier mission. We’re going to work harder.’ All hope is not lost: Marriage equality in Taiwan by May 2019 In May 2017, Taiwan’s top court made a first of its kind ruling in Asia, saying that same-sex couples had the right to legally marry. It set a two-year deadline for legislation. This means by May 2019, LGBTI people will legally be able to marry in Taiwan. But new referendum laws allowed both anti- and pro- LGBTI groups to launch petitions on what form the legislation would take. The government has previously said the outcome of the referendum won’t affect the ruling of May 2017. But LGBTI advocates have denounced a separate marriage law, akin to the UK’s Civil Partnership Act, as failing to provide equality. They wanted lawmakers to change the Civil Code to define marriage as between two ‘people’ rather than a ‘man and a woman’. On Saturday, Taiwan also went to the polls on the country’s LGBTI-inclusive curriculum. How did we get here? Taiwan made headlines last year when its highest court ruled that failing to recognize same-sex marriage was unconstitutional. It paved the way for Taiwan to be the first country in Asia for equal marriage. Advocates hoped, in line with the court’s suggestion, lawmakers would change the Civil Code’s definition of marriage. The court’s statement, however, led space to enact separate legislation to recognize same-sex marriages. But Taiwan’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party, despite campaigning on a promise of marriage equality in the run-up to 2016 elections, and other lawmakers failed to enact legislation. A lawmaker Gay Star News spoke to put this down to the country’s small but powerful Christian population. She also said older Taiwanese held conservative traditional family values and were susceptible to misinformation. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s government made it easier to propose referendums. Citizens need only to gather signatures from 1.5% of the electorate —280,000 in this case – to secure a referendum. Benefits SHOULD include tax, medical, and assets - among other things. However, civil unions are usually recognized state level whereas marriages are recognized (at the very least) country wide. This means if a couple who has engaged in a civil union steps out of their state or country, it is a very high likelihood that the will not have the benefits of a "married couple" any longer. Guest Expected result
The referendum dont count much as it was reported that mostly elders turned up to vote at the voting stations as they were already living in their home towns outside taipei, as Taiwan citizens in order to vote in the referendum had to go back to their original hometowns or birth towns/birth places to vote. Somemore most of these elderly people who turned to vote had been lied to, frightened and brainwashed by the Christian right to turn up to vote against the gays; whereas young people who support gay rights are mostly living and working in taipei and had to travel back to their original home towns elsewhere in taiwan in order to vote - most young people living in Taipei migrated from other cities, towns and villages in Taiwan outside of Taipei to work in Taipei, so they may be more reluctant to travel back to their birth towns to vote in the referendum as compared to the easily galvanised-by-fear elderlies presently living in their hometowns, these young people are more complacent towards politics hence voting for any party or others' equal rights, passively gay friendly, more educated hence more unflappable and immune to christian right brainwashing and posturings. Guest guest
Taiwan Referendum did not move forwards becos their Tranvestites was appearing to take over the mainstream appearing and popping up in genital revealing and panty revealing clothes and made everyone feel uncomfortable, http://i.imgur.com/Pj3vRD7.mp4 then there was a groundswell of rejection and Taiwanese people collectively gave a tight bitch slap to those who wanted marriage equality,

See if you got the balls to repeat what you say in Singapore and in public, then I salute you, otherwise just another keyboard puncher. What I punch on the keyboard is what I believe. I expressed a HOPE that your judiciary is responsible and not sold out. If this hope makes your judiciary feel scandalized and with contempt of court, this speaks quite badly of it. It would mean that your judges are a bunch of snobby autocrats who like to have their butts kissed. I am quite selective in which butts i kiss, and old judges are not on my list. A young judge is another thing, but for that he has to dis-robe. Why should I cross the Pacific to Singapore to say something in public. Let the public come to Texas where I live, and I say it here. They can camp out on my front lawn, and I will even serve them some refreshments.

Guest Indonesian city to fine LG
Indonesian city to fine LGBT residents for being 'public nuisance' Anti-LGBT demonstrators marching in Bogor, outside the capital Jakarta on Nov 9, 2018. Anti-LGBT demonstrations have erupted in several cities recently, including the capital Jakarta.PHOTO: AFP PADANG, INDONESIA (AFP) - An Indonesian city plans to slap its gay and transgender residents with a one million rupiah (S$95) fine for disturbing "public order", underscoring a marked rise in discrimination against the Muslim-majority nation's small LGBT community. The country of 260 million is in the grips of a moral panic, with critics saying the vulnerable LGBT minority is being used as a political punching bag in the run-up to 2019 elections. Homosexuality is not illegal in Indonesia - except in Islamic law-abiding Aceh province - but there has been a backlash against the community in recent years. The shift, led by increasingly powerful religious hardliners, has dented Indonesia's reputation for moderate Islam. This week, Pariaman city on Sumatra island passed a sweeping regulation banning "acts that are considered LGBT". The regulation, which has been reviewed by AFP, forbids "immoral acts" between same-sex couples and prohibits residents from "acting as a transvestite", but it offers few concrete examples of banned behaviour. "Same-sex LGBT and transgender people will be subject to sanctions and fines if they disturb the public order," said Ms Fitri Nora, head of the local legislature. Pariaman's deputy mayor Mardison Mahyudin said the new rules were born out of "anxiety" about Indonesia's LGBT community. Anti-LGBT demonstrations have erupted in several cities recently, including the capital Jakarta. In one incident, the authorities used a fire truck to hose down a group of transgender women, in what they called a "mandatory bath". Several cities in West Sumatra province, including Pariaman, have taken steps to marginalise LGBT groups, and the provincial government called a special meeting on Thursday to discuss the issue. Following the meeting, governor Irwan Prayitno said officials and concerned parties were searching for a province-wide solution to the "LGBT problem". "At a minimum, we're trying to prevent the population from increasing," Mr Prayitno told AFP.
GachiMuchi
Pastor Who Celebrated Orlando Massacre Gets 35 Years For Child Molestation APRIL 26, 2017 BY MICHAEL STONE Anti-gay pastor who claimed Orlando massacre victims got “what they deserve” will probably spend the rest of his life in prison. Pastor Ken Adkins was sentenced to life for aggravated child molestation earlier this week. Adkins will be eligible for parole after 35 years, but by that time he will be over 90 years old, and more than likely dead. If he does manage to live long enough to be released, he will spend the remainder of his life on probation. Adkins, who had congregations in Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Brunswick, Georgia, was arrested late last summer on eight charges of child molestation and aggravated child molestation. Earlier this month, a jury found Pastor Adkins guilty on all charges. Before his arrest the controversial Georgia pastor had been a vocal and determined opponent of LGBT rights, and even went so far as to celebrate a horrific mass shooting that left 49 dead and scores more wounded at a gay nightclub in Florida. Immediately after the horrific attack at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, Pastor Adkins tweeted the following: (Image via Joe.My.God.) been through so much with these Jacksonville Homosexuals that I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve!! Pastor Adkins also tweeted: Dear Gays, Go sit down somewhere. I know y’all want some special attention; yall are Sinners who need Jesus. This was an attack on America. And: It is a shame that Jax Gays are trying to use the Orlando Massacre as Blackmail to force the City to pass The HRO! Shame, Shame, Shame! As for his crime, The Florida Times-Union reports: The court found that Adkins exploited children by acting as a father figure and giving them gifts when in reality he was just grooming a teen-aged couple for sex. The age of consent in Georgia is 16. The jury believed the teens were 15 when Adkins was watching them have sex to make sure they were doing it correctly and then eventually joining them in the sexual acts. Pastor Adkins’ Twitter bio claims he is “one of the most Respected Black Conservative Voices in America.” Pastor Ken Adkins (Image via Twitter) Quote http://gachimuchi2008.blogspot.com

Not ours, whether its the existing ruling party or opposition party. Its about the mentality. And there may be some smartness behind this mentality. Thailand already benefits from tourism and expats living there. If they are progressive, they can attract more visitors and permanent residents, all coming with money. Enterprises that are progressive may also prefer Thailand over other Asian countries since their employees will be happier there.

Maybe the Thai Junta sees business opportunities after they return power to the civil Prime Ministers again, I mean lonely retired Military men, having nothing much to do anymore after the power shift, can still marry rich Ang Moh and Indonesian, Singaporean men and both retire in Thailand, buy overpriced Condo or beach villas. The military government must have done a research on the potential of lonely and not fully satisfied Military men who can bring revenue and sexual fulfillment to Thailand... Does anybody know by chance whether foreigners can work in property agent and spouse match making companies in Thailand?
