chubbylover Posted July 28, 2010 Report Share Posted July 28, 2010 Just read in the papers that the former chef of the famous ChatterBox Chicken Rice at Mandarin Hotel has started selling chicken rice himself, at the Kopitiam located at Centrepoint Basement 2, for just $4. Today (29 July) he is selling his chicken rice at just $3, and all proceeds will go to charity. He will start selling at 10am onwards while stocks last.If you are a chicken rice lover like me, can consider flocking there for lunch. Baloo Posted August 4, 2010 Report Share Posted August 4, 2010 The Chicken Rice is not bad...the sauces tho... especially the black sauce has been watered down ... thick black sauce would be hard to pour, and most Singlandpoleans do not know that a bit of thick black sauce is more than enough to colour the rice, and chilli... and take lots only to waste it.I for one miss the thick rich black sauce..
