I love the new spa. A vast improvment in all respect.

Just wonder why is there a need for two tv rooms?

The roof-top patio is pretty nice and there was this gorgeous yandao who appeared this afternoon whom everybody was eyeing.

Facility and location wise, the new spa beats many other smaller spas hands down. I hope the management will keep up the cleaniness and good work.

Good luck to Vincent and I will certainly visit the new Shogun again!

yes the place is brand new, nicely done up.

there is a maze on the first floor. there are two shower areas which is adequate.

2nd floor got dark rooms in two areas and a bigger mass room.

which i think is a nice change to what u see at other saunas.

The place is nice, but just feel like too many door, and very noisy when people open and close the door, ping ping pang pang. Also please becareful for the dangerous step at upstair TV area, saw few people going to fall down because of the step.

overall the place is nice, and a lot of people today.

i visited the new shogun, my comments are

1. overall - quite nice

2. the rooms are too small for 2 persons

3. too dark at certain areas

4. some corridors are too narrow

LOL not that i mind the narrow corridors for the "close brush" ... they are just as narrow as other places like 10mens, the other one in North Bridge Rd etc.

made my maiden trip to shogun, yes it was clean and new however, first floor was too bright and there is no main play area. In the past, people can lie around the 2nd floor in the rooms and move around now, in the maze is all standing and the only place to lie is at the tv room where its so bright.

What can I say about the new Shogun? Well in short, it's AMAZING!

The new lay-out of the interior now gives a new level of excitement and an air of

thrill and suspense and definitely gives a new edge to indoor cruising! Much thought

have been put in to maximise the space available and this makes the experience

alot more unique.

Nice to see that the presence of the Steam Room, a much welcome and most

needed area that was missed in the old place.

Lots of resting area on the main floor as well as the upper section.

The mini outdoor garden also gives a breath of fresh air, with some

clever, secluded partition for having a little chat/mini session.

The outdoor shower in the same area also a convenience after

one has had a nice session indoors.

My only advice to patrons is to walk slowly and carefully on the

upper levels as there are many dark alleys and corners. Watch out

for hidden steps /floor dividers. I think the management may want

to paint these areas with bright yellow paint so as to alert patrons.

Some small red light units could be placed in the dark rooms to

give an idea of the size of the space. This will avoid patrons from

banging their head on the walls.

All in all, a very good layout and definitely a very comfortable

place to rest/stay for the night. Lots of housekeeping to be

done to maintain the level cleanliness. Only time will tell how

good and clean it will remain to be.

Yes I agree with you gotta be careful or walk slowly as there are curbs/dividers in case you got so excited walking to the dark rooms...anyway nice place n lots of place to move around n enuf showers. :clap: Yes, nice to see that the presence of the Steam Room, but becareful don’t get burn from one of the wall in the steam room!!! it's too hot.

The shower area near steam room is too bright during day time (Not sure how at night).

Have to pay $1 for new towel if your old towel was wet No more free towel supply.

The upstair TV room is too bright during day time. Unlike the old one, feel unconfortable :oops: when lying on the bed to watch TV or maybe having fun.

Hope they can maintain the low entrt fee and clean. So we can go more often. No more $!^*( and 10mens for me then. :yuk:

Is quite nice since it was very dark and they gave a glow in myriads of colour.

Shogun layout is nice...reminds me of prey and predator...really good for 'cruising' and really make things happening.
