Urm brother, how long would it take to unpick a zipper and sew a new one on? 🤔 not practical la. joke aside, carrying safety pins are indeed helpful. I had on few occasions truly helped guys in need over the years. Myself only use rubber band once thou am sure someone gona say they rather let the fly open and ‘naturally’ create an accidental exposure while freeballing. To each their own. 
 

ps: alternatively still can use oversized shirt or sling bag to cover up if only have those at hand. Been-there, done-that. Most people won’t notice your zipper is undone. Just be careful when sitting down. Tactfully holding it down when sitting to prevent it opening up. 😉

so unlucky! i have not had the zip fail before. but i also don't freeball in work trousers because not skillful enough like the shi-fus here. plus i don't much enough shirt material to tuck out to cover until mid thigh so another reason not to try.

Be careful what you wished for… 🤭 when it happens, sometime really nowhere to hide especially in crowded little dot. 
Everything start small. I started by just fb at home. Slowly moved to going out in Bermuda and than in jeans etc. After a while, will get used to it and infact occassionally when wearing back an undies seems more uncomfortable.

I always leave the button fly unbuttoned. I find it more convenient to take it in and out that way. Of course, it also has more chances of cock-slip through that unbuttoned up button fly. Hehe

@bluerunner usually just use the legs opening and not the fly. Infact was thinking of sewing it up so that I can use it as normal shorts and go walk in the park with it. However material of boxer shorts too flimsy and I sweat a lot, afraid might end up in Stomp or hardware zone. Do see lots of ladies in much lesser attires in the parks these days but am sure the attitude towards males will be much less tolerable. 
anyway I am still very conscious when I am out in public and most normally won’t pick too revealing clothes when I need to be near crowds. So had been safe fb all these years.

I am not so sure about "challenge" and wearing a cage. 

 

In terms of freeballing, the challenge is not to lose control, leading to a noticeable erection - unless you are an exhibitionist and that is the intention.  Wearing a cage controls and restricts the erection.  Suppressing the erection does not quite seem to be much of a challenge not to be seen with a hardon.

This is typical Singaporean reaction... keeps gearing to be a modernisation country but mind still living in the 1950s/1960s time.

If you were to wear what you have explained above in a Western country or Asia like Taiwan or Japan or Korea, this is a norm in the public... they treat it as a normal casual wear.
