Not very good when you take the lift with a topless sweaty bod and there are people inside the lift covering their nose.

Yes, if you are running past a busy street with many pedestrians like Orchard Road or Chinatown.

Agreed, not everyone have fetish on a sweaty topless guy. And some people really would get offended or uncomfortable seeing a topless guy, esp women and old people. This is why i don't run topless if the park or PCN is crowded with people. I only take off my top when it is quiet or a few people around. This is why i like to run around 3pm where human traffic is not very high at park and PCN.

Why would people get offended with a topless guy walk past? The only way a person get offended is because he is jealous of the fitter topless guy body lol

Or offended because the guy, who is topless, has nothing to show?

It is better to wear a top when leave your house and take off when start running, and wear the top back after the run. You never know if people on the street would get offended when a topless guy walking around them.

yes it's true that some people might get offended by a man's topless body. but like it is their right to feel offended i believe it's the right of the guy if he wants to go topless. since it's not illegal to be topless i think it's up to each individual if he wants to go topless or not.

i honestly don't think you need to have a hunky body to be topless in public. even if you're average, what matters more is that you have the confidence to bare your body.

I think it is complusory to go topless in bmt now during PT training. Can see many such photos in their facebook.

i think it's a great way to motivate the boys and also be more confident about their bodies. it's a move in the right direction.

It's not about their right or his right, but rather going topless at the right time, right place.

You must have something to show to gain the confidence to bare your body.  If you have it, flaunt it.

Topless is not about confidence but whether you have a body to bare in public. Imagine if you have a skinny bod, all bones and skin, if you bare it in public confirmed would attracted stares and people might even laugh at you at your back. Although no law says skinny bod cannot go topess lah.

Lol yes too many people get offended by the smallest things nowadays. I mean it's just a jog. It's not like you're eating at McDonald's shirtless or something.

took a double decker bus back home after meeting army frends for a drink at around 9pm.

at a traffic red light, something caught my attention when i look down from the double decker bus.

the driver from a BMW was topless and in just a pair of white bikini. I can see his 6 packs and toned chest and the huge bulge in his pair of yellow bikini.

that view instantly gets my manhood into fully erected hardon.... what a beautiful sight

Guys with hot bods should flaunt it.  But such display of confidence may cause straight guys envy, girls go gaga and gays drooling.

Haha. There are always two sides to the camp. Though one side may applaud, the other side may criticize saying these topless guys are showing off. Sour grapes or is our society more conservative?

Those who criticize are more sour grapes than conservative.  They are usually skinny guys seeing their girlfriends stealing glances at a shirtless hunk.

You should be happy that someone is staring you, it means you have a nice bod.

There is no culture of workers going topless here. Unlike other countries, like HK. Very common to see guys topless during summer while they are doing manual work outside.

When i was in HK for holidays. There was this topless worker moving goods around in his open van. I was queueing for food there so i just kept looking over at him, really nice body.. He was sweating a lot and wearing long jeans. It felt as told he was flaunting his body cos he was taking his time. Hard to see this in sg haha

hk topless guys are yummy

Oddly, I find HK guys less hung up about nudity from my experience living in HK. For example, just the other day, I was in my gym (in Singapore) locker room and some guy (I guess he is HKer based on his Cantonese accent) talking on his phone whilst standing totally naked in front of his locker. I consider myself to be quite chill as in I would strip and change without the towel dance, but that’s usually a fleeting moment of nakedness. This fella was conducting a whole 5 min conversation in his birthday suit. No judgment, just awe.

Vietnam is rather good too if you're into shirtless workouts at grungy gyms!

It's actually the norm to be shirtless in the gyms in vietnam. Even the ones that look commercial. Most of the gyms in SE Asia it's quite common to be shirtless in the gym. I think the only exception is singapore.

Norm to be shirtless in the gym in most SE asia? Last time i went hk gym, didn't see shirtless in the gym. Is the gym in vietnam aircon or non aircon? If non aircon, usually shirtless is allowed. Like sch gym in sg, also can see shirtless.

I think those upmarket commercial gyms and hotel gyms prohibited shirtless. Guess you are referring to those rundown community gyms ?  In Singapore early years, you could also see many shirtless guys in community centres gyms. The coach himself was shirtless too.

Never tried a commercial one, but it's quite ok in hotel gyms too. Granted I wasn't staying at a very nice hotel la.

but yeah I do remember going to a local gym in yangon too, it was off hours so I was the only one. There was no aircon and I asked the owner to turn on the fan, he just told me that I could take off my shirt lol

South east asia countries mostly are those "third world", so there are many gym should be non aircon, this is why shirtless is common.

i've been to both aircon and non-aircon gyms in vietnam but both have shirtless guys working out. more in the non-aircon ones. but no one screams at the shirtless guys to put a shirt on. something you could never do in sg.

been to hotel gyms in other parts of SEA too  and have worked out shirtless in all of them. seen other guys do the same too.

yes. i think in the early years the rules were not that strict in cc gyms. it was common for guys to be shirtless during gym and exercise.

rules are pretty relaxed in hotel gyms as they are not utilised much. i've been in hotel gyms where a rule is to have a shirt on at all times but saw other guys working out shirtless so i just followed as well. lol.

yes. that's why i think it's the norm to be shirtless in most south-east asian country gyms.

When I stay in 5-star hotels on business trips and workout after 11pm (usually that’s the only me time I have left), I just take off my tank if I’m the only one there or if there are only one or two other male guests working out there and there is enough space so I can be less in their face. Of course, I make sure I use a towel on the bench. Sometimes the hotel security or other staff may drop in but I’ve never been asked to put a shirt back on. Few times it even ended up with a hookup.

Whether you are shirtless or not, it is a must to use a towel on the bench, and wipe off any sweat left behind. Not everyone have sweat fetish.
