Yes, I always see the same uncle workout topless in our HDB fitness area, doing endless rounds of pullups, crunches and all kinds of pushups. He's always in his FBT half slit shorts. You could be right. Now i can see many muscular and fit guys running outside. I just saw one fit and toned running along a street. All these guys should be running on treadmill in gym, but now cannot due to gym is closed.

I am mostly with shirt at home but i want to break away from my shy personality so i started running shirtless outside. Once i gain the courage to do topless running, i wont wanna run with uncomfortable wet cloth any more and also wont want to deal with stinky clothes after run.

 

My nipples will naturally gets hard if the wind constantly blowing on my body during topless running. Some times my naughty friends would touch my chest after the topless run and if got arouse would turn hard too. At one point of the time serveral years back before CB after a group run with friends, we go hawker center to eat or drink, i was still topless all the time in the hawker center trying to cool down from the run, a naughty group runner take the opportunity to start to feel my abs and chest and at this point of time i notice my nipples is also hard when his hands slide and press on my chest briefly. I take note of my body after that and found that the sweat from my cool down body constantly keeping my nipples hard as well. Its like inside very hot from the run while the sweat turns cold from outside making it maintain the hardness constantly.

Usually when a guy get used to running topless, he would so called default run topless no matter under what type of weather or surrounding. I also see before some guys even run topless during raining weather which is cold.

 

I only run topless when there are not many people around, cause i do not want to be an odd one topless among all the PCN users. So i usually go running around 3-4pm when PCN is more quiet.

I am one of the few crazy guys to rain in the rain too. I have self discipline to run once every weekend and if for some reason delay until Sunday i will force my self to run no matter wat and it includes heavy rain. In heavy rain needs to be topless even more cause if u run with shirt in heavy rain it will be extremely heavy. In heavy rain i practically need to maintain part of my strength to constantly flex my body to keep on enduring the extreme cold when topless running in cold heavy rain. After that run, although i did not catch a cold, my shoes is still wet and very uncomfortable the whole day until i reach home to change out the wet stuff. I normally will try to run on sat instead of sun in case being force to run in the rain again cause of my self discipline lol

For me, running as a physical activity only started during ns and then after to maintain ippt standard. 

 

After bmt n sispec, I was posted to one of the ulu camps so when I go running in or around the camp, I will just exercise topless without bringing a shirt.

 

After ns, initially I did wear singlet n take off for run then wear it back after but it didnt make sense to just wear smtg for like a few minutes. 

 

The singlet would be fresh and dry when I took it off before the exercise and when I put it on my sweaty body it would get dirty. It didnt seem right so I decided to go shirtless.

 

And yes when I have taken the lift I've mostly been ignored or given a weird look. Sometimes like uncles would talk a bit.

 

"Wah go running ah? Very fit a ah boy. " stuff like that but only a few occasions. So instead of wearing a singlet just for that few minutes I just decided to take the stairs. Since i only live on 8th story not too much of a big deal.

 

Btw I'm 180cm 75kg. I have some weights and bench at home to do training and occasionally go running or swimming. But more home workouts since corvid19. 

 

I think whether you are sweaty or not when they see your body is not an issue I think its whether you're confident to leave your house without a shirt and spend that entire time shirtless. It really depends on you and shouldn't care what others think.

 

Unless you're forcing other people to take off their shirt they dont have a right to make you put on one if you dont want to. ;p

Better to wear a shirt to your running place then take off only when you start running. Nowadays unlike in the 80s, when you would even see guys going to the coffeeshop/shops near their house topless to buy stuff. Now if you are spotted topless in public are not very appropriate.

I noticed during the current generation and society, topless is not common. You do not see workers topless in construction site, during renovation, doing manual work. Even when you walk past basketball, also not many guys playing basketball topless. During the 80s/90s and early year 2000 topless is so common on the street.

for me, the running place is just across my block after I cross an overhead bridge so i don't feel too awkward to just go shirtless without bringing a shirt. however, if the running track is quite a distance from your house and there are crowds, then maybe wear one. but then again, i think if you're not inappropriately touching your bare body and simply are there to exercise, i don't think people are going to make a big deal.

I think early early 2000s, when i was around 10-12 years old, my friends and I would meet in the neighborhood field to play soccer. we would go wearing shorts without shirts. it was a simpler time. 

 

its quite rare now to see guys shirtless in the basketball courts. i occasionally do some early afternoon outdoor run and workouts. n this is actually the time you see guys workout topless because of the heat. although the majority of them do have their shirts with them.

True, last time shirtless in public even going to food centre to dabao food, also can see guys topless. They are not exercising and yet can see them shirtless in heartlander shops. I also seen my neighbour who was a secondary boy default shirtless when he walked to the shops and coffeeshop across the road to buy things, and that was in the early 90s.

 

Wonder why it is rare to see guys shirtless now? As if when you are shirtless in the public, you would view like a pervert.
