I tried shaving and just like you the stubbles grew fast and furious, much to the dismay of my partner. Waxing removes the whole strand. Regrowth is softer and finer. Also over time, less. I tried shaving before (when i was much younger and was intrigued by how those pxxn stars bare pubes, would actually look on myself ) Doesn't like the pricky feel and I even tried waxing (for the fun of it). It was indeed a tad too bare for me, though i must say my tool does looks so much bigger... Nowdays, i prefer a neatly trimmed pubes look.
