Yeah, you're right about the transportation. I cycle from yew tee to cck at 5am because there's no transport. 

I frequent Westgate but I must say I don't take note of 50kg dumbbells coz it's out of my limit.

You are right. If the gym is open this does not help during the hours the MRT and other public transportation are halted.

This is different in Texas.  Here everyone needs to have a car to get around,  and driving to the gym at 4AM is a pleasure because streets are empty and there is parking place everywhere. 

Now, how about riding a bicycle at night through the empty streets of Singapore?  Wouldn't this be easy, safe, and a good exercise?

 

Point taken. The nearest outlet would require 30-45 mins of cycling. Not that I mind, but the entire estate has only 3 areas to park bicycles (which are always cramped). I can't park the bike outside the gym. It has to be in proper designated places. Risk getting fined for improper parking of bike (in designated places) by the Authorities.

Westgate has heavier weights. Pretty sure cause the trainers there train using the heavier weights. The heavier weights are all located on the floor below the rack. Its too heavy to be placed on the rack.
