I don't think I've paid much attention to it since the mid-1990s although I did watch quite a bit of TVB serials as a kid in the 1980s. I went through a phase where I was keeping track of the actors/actresses. Some of the actors I found attractive back then: 劉松仁，苗僑偉，梁朝偉，林俊賢，張兆輝，溫兆倫，方中信，古天樂。。。 then later after a gap of quite a few years 鄭嘉穎，吳卓羲，黃宗澤。 The fascination with 鄭浩南 was almost purely sexual. He showed skin, was muscular at a time where we rarely got to see such things on TV. Not everyone has aged gracefully. I recently googled some of them (the ones who now have a lower profile), wondering where they are now. It is a little sad that some of them have gone through bad/too much cosmetic surgery. Then there are also those who seem to have leading-man looks who have remained mostly unnoticed like 唐文龍 who was mentioned several posts up. I also belatedly noticed 陳啟泰; I recently came across some images of him - attractive face and gym-fit body back in the 1990s - but I only remember seeing him in supporting roles. It is a complicated industry. There's a lot we don't know: reputation among peers/colleagues, work ethic, blacklisting (unfair or otherwise) by the people in power.
