Guest PRC
(Are you fxxking tired of living?)。 啊,原来一不耐烦就能咒骂:“Are you fxxking tired of living?”。 "The China flag has since been removed after the live show."Said Gregory in his email to STOMP on Apr 17:"As we passed by the Pasir Ris West Plaza Kopitiam, my 13-year-old son suddenly shouted, 'Hey Pa, why are they hanging a China flag in the middle of the Kopitiam?' "Sensing my son's great displeasure, I quietly asked myself whether we are slowly becoming a new province of China, especially with all those cleaners and stall assistants from China in all the food courts. "I was wondering why the flag was hung in the middle of the Kopitiam. Didn't this person has basic common sense? Why did Kopitiam allow the flag to be hung? "Whoever hung the flag and whoever allowed the flag to be hung, should be 'hung' too for being insensitive to others' feeling. "I do not resent China nor its people, but I do feel that our government should not allow such a great influx of one nationality to come into Singapore."They can be easily seen and found in all corners of Singapore. It has greatly affected us socially and economically. "While relating this incident to a colleague, she suddenly remarked, 'With all these foreigners around, I am feeling like a foreigner in my own country.' "I do share the same feeling too!" They come here and don't integrate, at least most of them don't. They think if they stubborn enough, we change for them. F&%$la, they can go eat vajajay and shit.Middle kingdom mentality. So sien with them...Aren't you sometimes also being called "cina babi" back home even you have done nothing wrong? So its strange that you, together with many of your own countrymen, were here passing crude racist remarks when you all, until now, is still a victim of serious racial discrimination in your own country! And your were enjoying yourself doing it! "If not for the unequal treatment and denied opportunities you are getting back home, why are you here? You should be otherwise at home sweet home, enjoying your mum's home cooked meals everyday! Shame on you, Singaporean, sadly except for just one or two, are civilized and broad minded people and do not need racists like you here." Do you like to have such remarks, never mind if its true or not, hurled a you?In the meantime, read this! My link "Do not do unto others what you don't want others do unto you?" zara_boi
I totally disagree on the bashing on PRCs although i do agree that PRC businesses do not operate with strong business ethics. Just recall the milk powder scare. however, the ppl who don't integrate are not them but the indian nationals. These 'whatever' you call them are breeding like nobody's business and sooner or later there will be more of them than PRCs. I would think most locals chn would prefer PRCs then Indian nationals. These 'whatever' like to block the mrt aisle when it is already so crowded, they like to fight for seats, and it is more prevalent among indian men.Totally lacking in social graciousness!ill..ll..ill... I was on my way to Shogun and I passed by Lucky Chinatown, walked passed 7/11, turned right. As I was walking down the stairs, I saw 2 PRC talking. One was smoking and the other, blowing his nose. This guy got his of his nasal discharge by wiping it on the wall next to him. Why dun you carry a packet of tissue or handkerchief with you? Sometimes, I have to spit my phelgm into my handkerchief and put it in my backpack if I dun have any tissue with me.This is the way I was taught and brought up.Er, you call this good upbringing?Who is going to wash that handkerchief? EProxy69
I guess that there is always the good and the bad in all races or nationality. A lot of their behaviours and attitudes reflect their upbringing and surrounding environment. My encounters with PRC have been a mixed experiences itself. One may suspect that their self centered behaviour may stem from the one child policy, hence they are not used to sharing or compromise with others. Once I was attending an international conference, the PRC delegates literally refused to hang out and even look down on other Asian delegates where normally asian delegates tend to be more closely knitted among each others. Just because they have more so called "bargaining power", they treated the ang mo better than fellow asian. I have quite a few PRC friends(female) who rather look for foreigners as they said that most PRC men are self centered and without really caring about how others feel. And definitely their reputation in business and practices is really bad. One commented that she will not even fall for foreigner doing business in China as they will become cunning and sooner or later behave like one of the PRC men. But of course, there are some who is quite friendly and sincere as well. So, it all boiled down to their background, education, family upbringing and exposure etc. Many of these ppl working in the F&B line comes from small places and i guess it's their way of living and communication. I always believe in integrating into the new cultures and no matter where you are from, one should always adapt to the new environment and their way of life. This leads to the armpit hair issue. Well, it was only until like 50-60 years ago that the shaving of armpit hair started in Asian country due to western influences. And some of this people was not really educated about it by their parents or so as they don't really practice it, so i can fully understand that. But to be expose, that's an eerily sign. But well, I've also came across one M'sian girl who did not shave the armpit hair. We can't really blame them much but of course I agree that in F&B line, hygiene is really important and I think the employer should educate them about this.So I think we shouldn't generalised but definitely there are some obvious traits that can be seen among them.Just my 2 cents.CHeers
