Ā also can use salt water wash Ā face is good, salt water is anti bacteria, helps clear acne and pimples..cheap and easy to do^^Ā but be sure to use unbleached sea salt. buy in supermarket, cheap. after a few days, salt sterilizes natural facial oils which replace chemical moisturizers. jaylen
Don't lose hope. Sometimes it is due to multiple factors: sleep deprivation, stress, lack of water, hygiene, too much oily and sugary food, the erratic weather, bad habits (touching your pimples), allergic reaction to some chemicals etc. Think of the last routine that had some positive impact on your skin. Follow that.Ā For me what works would be 1. cut down on sugar (esp soft drinks) 2. put on sunscreen - not an oily one 3. see a good dermatologist (I go Niks Maple at Orchard Central - get Dr Ong only). 4. Drink loads of water and barley and more importantly 5. sleep by 11 every night and exercise regularly.Ā Not easy to have good skin esp when our skin is oilyĀ Ā Cheer up bro!Ā
7heaven
how much...dun too expensive..lolĀ SKII men is about low $100.Ā Avene has got many products but I predominantly use the facial wash, about $37.Ā Dead Sea Premier also has got many products but I have only tried the facial wash. It costs about $38.Ā Ā Agree with jaylen that a healthy diet coupled with sufficient sleep and regular exercise will improve one's skin and also health.Ā Ā @lost hope. No money no look no body is no big deal. You must ask yourself what are your objectives of wanting to have money, looks and body.Ā There are 2 ways to lead your life; happily or wallowing in self-pity. Find friends who do not judge you for your wealth, looks and body. (In fact, it would be conundrum to have money, looks and body as you do not know who the true friends are.) If you are inherently a nice person, they will be there for you.Ā

Allegro
How to deal with blackheads on nose? Those strips are very bad because they enlarged your pores, any better suggestions?
jaylen
1stly, BB Cream is just a cover up and does nothing to heal pimples. So if you use it, I suggest thoroughly cleaning your face at the end of the day with a makeup remover first followed by your usual cleanser.Ā 2nd, Men Skin Centre or Bella is not bad. For first timers, not sure if you can endure the extraction. It is very painful especially if you are very sensitive around your face. Lost Hope, I would suggest that you tell the beautician to go easy on you because extraction can unnecessarily aggravate your acne.Ā Ā 3rd, using antibiotics to get rid of the p acnes bacteria can be a good option if acne has gone out of hand but it should not be an immediate 'go-to' option. Check with your doctor first. For first timers to antibiotics, clindoxyl should be a mild and easy antibiotic cream you can use. You can get it at most pharmacies but you will need a prescription.Ā 4th, blackheads on nose? A few ways. Go for a facial. The extraction will take care of those blackheads. Else, you will need to exfoliate but the results may not be as visible as a trip to the beautician.Ā
Guest Raiden Alpha
How to deal with blackheads on nose? Those strips are very bad because they enlarged your pores, any better suggestions?Short of an extraction facial from a beautician salon the other thing one can do is to use clay mask regularly and pore packs minimally.Exfoliating products like ginvera marvel gel or CURE gel (over the counter products) might help. Guest JUSTrand
Hmmmm.I think you all should see a dermatologist first to know your skin type and what are the real current issues that you are facing.Calendula toner. Many of you keep saying that it's good etc. Ya, I find it good too. But I've learn to brew my own flora tea or pure green tea to use as my toner.I'm not sure whether I've mentioned it in my previous posts. But neutrogena is actually a good brand with effective results though i find that most of it's products make my skin dry. Even their ingredients used is little and basic, just that I don't like the paraben. If you have a tight budget you can always try neutrogena.I have long given up on oil control products. There's a period when I believe that oil control products is actually harmful to our skin cos it force the skin not to produce so much oil and most of the product contain clay. And I also believe that the clay will be trapped in our pores cos it's impossible to wash your face until so clean that all traces of clay are removed. I used to use kiehls rare earth cleanser till I notice that the clay residue are stuck in between my fingers. And it's very hard to wash off. When I believe all are removed I notice that the area are very dry.Olay regenerist cleanser is one of my fav but my skin is oily so I've stop using it.I love the smell and the after effect. My skin feel so clean and hydrated.Paula choice pore normalising cleanser is prolly the best cleanser ever for normal skin till I fall in love with boscia black detox cleanser. PC cleanser's ingredients are very little and basic too. Make my skin clean yet none drying. For all the years I've been using it. No extra pimples come out unless I've been in my fried food only diet or lack of sleep. And if Paula choice didn't withdraw from Singapore, might still be using it.Boscia black detox cleanser is so perfect. You all should go online and check its ingredients. So far so good none is bad for skin. The first time I used it, I notice the warm feeling. Then never again. Lol. So far so good. Prolly I'll be able to give a better review about it after we r a year. And please. If you go online and search for Apple cider vinegar you will know that the best ACV is from Bragg which you can buy it from cold storage. It's so strong that you'll need to use 1/4 of Bragg ACV and dilute it with 3/4 of water if you were to drink it.I use it as my face and body toner too. It contain enough aha to dissolve my dead skin cells. But I only use it on my face max 2times a week. Too strong and smelly. I use half ACV and dilute with half water.Normally I'll either brew my own organic green tea from organic green tea leaf for toner. Keep in fridge. Max 1mth. Change it if it change colour or turn cloudy. Oh and only use distilled water to brew your tea or as the ACV mixer. And dickson (yellow bottle) witch hazel toner is good too. I'll use it after my clay mask.I use bentonite clay. Most commercial clay use kaolin but I prefer bentonite. You can buy it from those organic store or simply use aztec secret clay.Ops. Need to go to school liao bye.Moisturizer? Extract your own aloe vera gel is the best. Beware of aloin. Or simply buy from lily of the desert (choose the gel not gelly. Gelly got too much extra ingredients) Alternatively I'm also using mizon snailcream.Next time got time den I'll talk about essence, serum and treatment. Don't use products that have long list of strange ingredients.

In South Korea, cosmetics companies are now targeting men. It's a trend that clashes with Western ideas about masculinity and gender, but Korean men are spending a ton of money on cosmetics products in order to improve their skin and appearance.{C}{C}South Korean men are the world's top per-capita consumers of skincare products, with four times the purchases of runner-up Denmark, according to Euromonitor. The grooming industry is worth more than $1 billion, with projected growth of nearly 50% over the next five years.Korean men are not just buying aftershave and lotion, either. Demand is increasing for anti-aging products, masks and mists.Alex Taek-Gwang Lee, a cultural analyst at Kyunghee University, said that men are using more cosmetics because in South Korea, appearance is everything."We have a proverb," Lee said. "If you buy something, you must choose the one which has a good appearance."In South Korea's ultra-competitive society, he said that kind of decision-making also applies to people. When employers are looking to hire, for example, many of the candidates will have come from excellent universities and have similar qualifications. One thing that can set a candidate apart is their appearance."If you want to have a higher salary, you must do the best for your human capital," he explained.Chris Hong, an business executive about to hit the big 4-0 this year, is the industry's ideal customer. His regimen includes twice-yearly Botox injections, as well as laser treatments to smooth out imperfections on his face.Hong freely admits that he spends more time, money and effort on beauty than his wife."Whenever you do more grooming you feel better," Hong said. "I don't want to be looked at as older."Ā Related: Selena makeup collection to launch next yearInternational names including Lab Series and Biotherm are among the most popular brands. But Minji Kim, an analyst at Euromonitor, said local companies are aggressively competing for male customers."Almost all domestic players have launched men's lines." said Kim, who singled out local manufacturers AmorePacific and LG Household & House Care as homegrown success stories.AmorePacific has even launched a special military line, which features natural camouflage makeup and post-training cooling and whitening masks. According to the company, an estimated 70% of South Korea's military men use cosmetics."Interest ... in cosmetic products begins during [military service] -- due to the frequent outdoor activity that requires sun protection and skin care in general," the company said in an email. Guest JUSTrand
To continue. I've stop using boscia cleanser. It was really good but same as my Paula's choice pore Normalizing cleanser, thus might as well go back to PC, save me quite a lot of money. For cleanser, I have a new favorite from Japan Panna Aha morning face soap and Panna pompa night face soap moist. Haven't use it yet, damn cheap. It come in the form of those liquid to foam pump and best of all are the ingredients! Their ingredients are so basic, sensitivity skin will love it. But please take note that if you are allergic to glycolic acid, please avoid the Aha face soap. And also that the brand actually have hidden ingredients named potato extract which idk contain what. Lipo? Or whatever whitening molecule from potato? Not stated meaning chances of it being bad but I'm still giving it a try.Forgot to mention that paula's choice have came back to Singapore and open a outlet.Serum - I've used many serum. I totally love Estee lauder advanced night repair, I'll buy a bottle a year but only that. Cos my skin can take all the goodness in it, I'll use my vitamin c serum for 2 days and switch to advance night repair for 1day. Ost vitamin c serum is damn good, cos it contains hyaluronic acid. Vitamin c will help use increase the cell turn over rate(anti aging and prevent blemishes and prevent acne!), smoothen out fine lines and best of all... Whitening! Hyaluronic acid will keep your skin hydrated. So it's the best serum along with advanced night repair. Don't talk about ampoules, they are such a disappointment. To me. Haha. Ampoule are supposed to be the best as it contains molecule that are so small that our skin will absorb them fastest. That's y you will find that ampoules are very liquid-like. Essence is also very liquid but essence are moisturizing when compared with ampoules. Ampoule usually contains quite a high lvl of alcohol, which will make our skin dry and age faster. I only use those boosting essences like sk-ii miracle water or missha first time revolution essence. Boosting essence are amazing but.. Redundant like toner. I'll choose my toner over a boosting essence. Toner help me double cleanse and prepare my skin for treatment, therefore it's more important to me than those boosting essences. Moisturizer.. A very complicated topic. My face is oily so I have alot of moisturizer. I've tried alot but here's the current moisturizer that I'm using. I'm using 3w clinic 100% snail gel, it's actually 99% only... It's not that good. But I can see result from it. I've been losing alot of sleep these days and huge pimples came out, I've applied the snail gel and it reduce the size of my pimples overnight and the small ones even turn from painful pimples to those irritating squeezable pimples. Do not squeeze them unless you think that you are an expert like me, I've been squeezing my pimples since secondary sch. And thanks to the snail gel from 3w clinic, now the pimples are gone. Quite hydrating too. but I can never wear it out, it's damn sticky and spoil my sunscreen and when the weather is humid it make my skin look like I've applied a thick layer of oil! Omg....I love eucerin combination/oily whitening day fluid. Spf 30. Sound good hor? It's good. The ingredients are totally not harmful (to my extend) and it's not oily when applied. Previously I got cheated by Mario badescu oil free moisturizer spf30, that bitch contain so much oil on it's sunscreen. Thanks eucerin for keeping my face clear of age spots and sun spots. I'm sporty so I go under the sun quite often but I'm proud to say my face is clear of all those sun spots.Mario badescu seaweed night Cream. Cb sia this one. Another oil free formula but thick as hell. My skin can't breathe. BUT very moisturizing, my skin feel healthier in the morning after using it.I'm tired. Hp left 7%, if I remember, next time I'll write about kose and other brands. Ps, I've deleted this account to create a new account to stalk my friends. So if there's anything review that you want to ask me to write, please post it below, I'll see it and see whether I've used it before. Or if it caught my attention, I'll go and buy it. My skin is used to me pampering it and use it as a lab rat. HAHAHAHA
