Wait for a while, reapply the water and wait again so that the facial hair gets softer. Then apply any regular shaving cream from a store. Shave with a decent quality shaver (two blades and lubricating strip) slowly and light. Then rinse face and apply a moisturizing cream with sun block. And this is all. No need for anything "advanced". The trick for a smooth shave is to let the facial hair soften with the water, and COLD water preserves the natural oils of the skin. Try to never wash face with warm water, shower with cold or lukewarm water.
Guest
I am 33 years old now. Usually my skin care regime is just using facial foam in the morning and night to clean my face. I was alarmed recently when I finally has "time" to really closely examine my face because normally i will just wash my face and shave. I notice my skin is sagging with lesser elasticity and bigger pores. Fine wrinkles is also visible now. I just wonder what are the treatments that young male adult now usually go for to improve and delay aging signs?

lovehandle
not really, Fab While I know some men just wash their good-quality and handsome face w normal soap (usu older grp men), I felt just unsatisfactory (or not really cleaned) after using common and cheaper range pdts like kao biore, nivea or Loreal men's etc, I don't feel high or any much better using Clinique, Lab, kiehl (all those big names) or SK II etc! after experimenting with so many pdts, I felt really comfortable w Origins face wash and some of its good products (not all in the range). Of course , different brands or range fit diff clientele or diff face type...I m not saying it fits all (men usu is having T zone issue and the regular-shaving issues when it comes to face)

I thought the effect will be similar since the ingredients between the two cleansers look to be the same. But gosh... I was wrong. By the time I finished my Nivea, no doubt it cleaned my face, but I noticed my laughlines and sagginess. So I think those big brands must have spent their money on some real R&D together on top of their marketing.

julyjung
Try to use some natural materials to remove blemishes. You can use cucumber, tomato or even carrot. For instance carrot: The carrot is a vegetable rich in nutrients which is used to prevent cancer, heart attack and so on. Furthermore, there are a lot of vitamin A that is found in carrots helping protect cuticles on skin, support the new tissue cells to grow and nourish the skin as well as fight against strong ultraviolet rays. Meanwhile, vitamin C in the vegetable works to rejuvenate your skin, tighten astringent pores, confront with inflammation and bacteria. To make use of the ingredient, you can eat carrots daily with other foods, which will help you effectively treat different skin problems, including blemishes and acne. Otherwise, you can use carrot juice to drink, and the pulp of carrots to apply on the pus acne. Your blemishes or acne will be no longer swollen and itchy. What about cucumber? Cucumber is widely known as one of the quickest methods on how to remove blemishes, thanks to its cool and fresh effects. Accordingly, you can consume or use cucumber to apply on your face daily without worrying about any side effects Follow steps below Cut a cucumber into slices and rub them on your face. Guest shea butter lover
have you guys tried 100% unrefined organic shea butter? shea butter is a miracle oil. it's wonderful as anti aging cream. it may be oily initially when you apply it on your skin, but after a while it absorbed by your skin and it wasn't that oily. giving you the moisture you need with a healthy glow. 100% unrefined shea butter is good to combat acne. good for all skin type. you will notice your wrinkle became less noticeable after some time. http://www.livestrong.com/article/324195-what-are-the-benefits-of-raw-shea-butter/ I bought my out of Africa raw wild unrefined shea butter online and cost about SGD18/tub which can last me for very long time. I also use it to replace my hair wax/gel. I put it on my lips before sleep for soft kissable lips. I put it on my nail so that my nail stay strong and not easy to break. super affordable and very useful. better than those high end cosmetic brands. you will love the results after you try it. go on read some people's rating and feedback about shea butter. I recommend you give shea butter a try. it's anti aging. once absorbed into your skin it's not oily. though it doesn't give you a matte look. but I find it better than some oil control product as my face is less shinny and less prone to occasional acne. it's cheap also. if you are new to iherb. Iherb give u free USD5 for your first purchase. if you purchase above SGD60+ hv free delivery. usually by singpost within a week after your purchase. don't be afraid to use good oil on your face. Anyone knows of anything that are inexpensive and not oily? I've been using Artistry product and they work pretty well. You may try. For youthful beauty in the 30s: 1. cleanse 2. tone 3. treat. Basics: Maintain daily regimen morning and night. Replace moisturizing lotion at night with a creme. Avoid UV exposure. Exfoliate twice a week. Protect the delicate eye area with daily use of an eye creme. Boost your routine with the use of serums. Prevention: Prevent the signs of aging by using frequent sun protection SPF 15 or higher to protect your skin from free-radicals/environment stressors. Promote healthy skin cell turnover with regular exfoliation. Protect the delicate eye area with daily use of an eye cream. Consider a dedicated anti-aging routine. Firstly, you've to choose right products (cleanser, toner, lotion) for normal-to-oily skin type for daily regimen in cleansing and toning. Then, use anti-aging products in treat steps.
