I'm 22 this year and my penis is curved downwards by quite a lot. I want to lose virginity but I'm very embarrassed by my penis. And I can't tell my parents either because it's too embarrassing. Is there any solution? This is how it looks like when erected (NSFW); and this is not my penis, it's the first picture. http://www.peyronies-disease-treatments.com/curved-down-penis.html Extra info: I don't experience any pain when I'm masturbating. And I'm uncircumcised, and able to pull the foreskin all the way back when I'm not hard. This is really embarrassing and troubling. Is there any way to correct it? Sorry for any trouble. Hi Bro You can get it surgically done. Consult any of the urologist at SGH. It can be done as in day surgery, where you do not have to be warded. I suggest you get a referral from a polyclinic where your consultation at the Urology Dept in SGH will be heavily subsidized. The surgery is call "nesbit' where they correct the curvature of you penis. As a subsidized patient, you are not allowed to choose your Doctor in the clinic, it will be assigned to you. If your lucky, you will get a Senior Consultant. I was lucky. Dr Peter Lim the head of Uro in SGH then was assigned to me. Im not sure if he is still with SGH now. He told me that he is going into private practice at that time. Nothing to fear or feel embarrassed. Its just a normal corrective procedure. Wish you good luck. Oh ya forgot to mention, the cost is less then 3K at that time. About 15 years ago. Not sure how much now. Anyway you can use Medisave partially. Guest Suffering in silence
Hi, just wondering if anybody here ever diagnosed with Peyronie's disease and recovered from it? I was diagnosed with it after masturbating too much (few times a day) and got a mild injury which eventually resulted in it. Have already seen a specialist (private) from which he advised there is no cure to it. I've been living with it for about 2 years already. As I am getting a depression from it, I would really appreciate if you did not experience it yourself to not offer any advice or harsh criticism please. Guest peyronie
What specialist did you consult? Urologist? Peyronie disease is due to fibrosis after penile injury. Masturbation itself rarely cause such problem. Surgical correction is possible, but it will result in a slightly shortened penis if you are ready to accept it. The penile injury happened after continuous masturbation even after I felt some pain. It is not due to sex as I do not do sex at all. I've seen urologists from both NUH and private, it was the private specialist who diagnosed me. The NUH ones could not even come up with a proper diagnosis. Guest Suffering in silence
Erm... but curved dick is not the same as Peyronie's Disease...
bluerunner
Not all curved down dick needs ‘correction’. Penises come in all shapes, sizes and curvature. IMO, if the curve is not causing you discomfort, I feel it’s ok. If you have a concern, go talk to your family doctor. Please do not feel inferior or embarrassed because you have a curved down penis. Just bumping this in case it gets missed as my post is now combined in this curved dick thread. Btw, Peyronie's disease has nothing to do with curved dick at all.
