anyone here willing to do a nude or erotic photoshoot for me?

just wanna try things out while i'm still young and look nice. don't mind posing with other models as well.

but has gotta be someone who actually has the skills for good photos (would wanna see ur portfolio), dirty pervs who just wanna see me nude stay away.

If you're keen drop me a msg?

Are you a professional model?

Professional photographers shoot professional models. If you're just a normal person, a normal photographer would be a good match. Unless you're willing to pay then you'll get what you pay for.

Just my opinion. Not intend to offend you in any way.

I'd rather say that professional photogs (or at least the good ones) will charge for their services. I do. Seriously.

You want privacy, pay for it. You want quality, pay for it. I do occasionally do commissioned shoots (ie paid) for couples, too. Whenever we use models, even inexperienced ones, we pay for the service too.

Just stating a hard truth here. If one wants a freebie, be prepared to get rubbish snaps.

Wah, didn't realise it was so easy to charge for photography services these days, seems like all you need a DSLR and some basic knowledge of photoshop, lol.

you can start with that. it needs much more than that to be a good photographer. I'm a totally beginner and I pick up photographing as a hobby.

besides skills, a sense of art, you need a good attitude too. go ahead and buy a DSLR and learn your photoshop skills, and share with us what you got after that : ).

Going out to shoot this morning, yay!

On a separate note - I am free this Sat evening, so those who want to have a small get-together to talk about the basics and starting out in photography (as a hobby), do get back to me. Am looking at 3.00pm till 5.00pm, a nice cosy cafe in Tiong Bahru area where we can have a cuppa and chat, and you can show me your photos.

(*grumble* so difficult to edit the details on my post.....)

Without any mention of pricing or package, "reasonable" is subjective. $200 for a rubbish shoot can be counted as reasonable, if you don't mind your photos being posted on their own pages/portfolio/Flickr/Photobucket/etc.

That aside, 1 and 2 are just hobbyists in the clubsnap (crapsnap) class. 3 is barely there. If one doesn't understand that, then..... nevermind.

* a serious note - for industry professionals, we charge a lot more for 100% privacy. For the "own-a-dslr-equals-photographer" camera-holders, they can charge you all sort of cheapo prices, but you get what you pay for.

Thank you MeowPrince for replying. ^_^

Photographers offered me less than $100. So, I am picking 1 out of the 3 photographers to do shoot for me.

Wow... you can tell!

Since No.3 is barely there, so, No. 3 (Patrick-T) is out.

Between 1 and 2, which one is better?

Whew, am finally back home after a long spell of shooting. Shall be heading down to the sharing session after I grab a quick bite and a little wash up.

Those attending, please be punctual. As I am putting aside the time to do this for free, you should at the least respond early and make the effort not to screw my time. I did send out a round of requests-for-confirmation on 8th Aug to all. Venue remains unchanged, and I'll only extend my contacts to those who bothered to respond early. See you afterwards at 3.30pm.

;)

I especially like the photograph of the view down the algae-covered steps leading to the abandoned building.

I would welcome the opportunity to join your next excursion to such a place.

Hey guys, I feel like getting my first camera soon and it's going to be the Sony Nex 7. Anyone familiar with it?

Might be planning to get three lenses (not at one go), a 18mm-55mm, 55mm - 300mm(?) and a macro lens.

**Might be just getting a 18mm-200mm basic lens to play with until I feel a need to upgrade. Recommendations?

Not very sure how macrolens can be deemed as macro though, after googling for half an hour.

Anyway, some photos since it's a photo thread afterall.

You can join Meow Prince outing session. You'll learn not only the technical, but also ideas on how to catch good shots. Of course you must be patient as MP is very strict (wink wink @ MP)
