If I'm not undiscreet, where did you take the second left from top, and the one just under Chambord?

Is the last one (bottom, right) in Spain? Barcelona?

Ahhh....

View from top of Eze.            Mont St Michel (in wind + rain).

Sevilla town.                         Chambord Chateau.

Gare de Lyon restaurant.     Lyon's Cathedral St Jean.

Segovia's Roman Aqueduct.  Gaudi House.

In that order  :)

MP, thanks for the replies. I'm using Galaxy S 4 too but the pictures are way too lousy (blur, noise). Just curious, if this month any photography hang out/session?

Its just the basics of holding your fone/cam stably when shooting, and using it at the right times.  Eg, I try not to take much night shots or shoot in low-light, as all fonecams have limits in their high-ISO performance.

As for photography-related events, there should be a photo giveaway event in Tiong Bahru estate over the 14/15th weekend.  My next official outing will be the weekends after that, or at earliest, the Friday just before.  I will normal post it up a few days prior so that people can see and decide whether or not to sign up for it.

Woah, nice photos, guys. And @kitsune, I'm especially enthralled by your multiple exposure works - I think they're beyond brilliant :)

A little hello from where I am right now:

Have been away from SG for awhile (2 years) — do you guys have any good places to recommend when I visit in Jan/Feb? :D

If the world don't suck we'd all fall off.

About Centre Pompidou, I'm afraid it's a new tendancy in architecture, and not only scaffoldings for works.

There is an interesting new building like that in 13th, with giant wooden matches outside (sorry, I don't know how to post pics, and anyway my pics aree pure sh...).

An update about this coming weekend :-

There will be a "Photo Giveaway" around the Tiong Bahru SIT estate on Sun 15th Dec and continuing on Sat 21st Dec

Visitors to the estate can pick up their choice of 4R photo prints from different locations across the estate.  These photos feature different aspects and perspectives of the estate and life within over time, with a handful of vintage pictures before the 1970s, to more recent pre-renovation wet market and the present.  From architectural images to community cats to snippets of life in the estate and memories of the old wet market, there are a total of 450 different pictures, drawn from the collections of 12 different individuals including some residents of the estate and award-winning photographers.

Venues where the photos may be showcased and where you may pick your favourites to take home with you include :-

  • Seng Poh RC at Blk 48 (1pm to 6pm, both days)
  • Qi Tian Gong, the Monkey God Temple at the entrance of Tiong Poh Road (both days, till stocks run out)
  • Books Actually, at Yong Siak Street (both days, while stocks last)
  • Woods In The Books, at Yong Siak Street (both days, while stocks last)

Amongst the photos will be works by at least 3 members of the BW forum, come support them!  Best of all, you get to take home a copy of their work!

Map used with the kind permission of the TiongBahru.Org FB group.

Apologies, was just informed by the organiser of a change in dates due to a major logistical hiccup.
