Let's make a 199X T-shirt shall we :)

I got some T-shirt company contacts from my publicity design days.

Need to think about the cost too. I recall the price quotation from the shirts I worked on to be around 7-12/pc depending on the materials, design complexity, etc. And I used to buy in bulks of hundreds. In our mid-size group, without economies of scale to capitalize on, the cost may go even higher.

The shirt shouldn't be too complex in design, and the material could be dry-fit,or something else. We just have to make sure each piece costs below 20 if everything's finalized.

You can have number 69 at the back Wooooo

That could work. If not 69 would be at the side sleeves :D

what does 69 means?

69 is a good number, worn only by proper decent guys, such as virgins. So it makes people interested in you. True story.

I was an art student for a year, designed class tees before, and im skilled with photoshop. So if this idea really gonna happen, i can help =]

The issue i'm more concerned about is, how many shirts do we make? Our group size will forever be increasing. So if we made for our current group size now then newcomers wont have the tee (which might seriously make them feel like they not part of the group lah). If we do more tees so newcomers can get shirts in the future, who will pay/hold the shirts until someone takes it?

A good idea to visualise is that we are not like a class but like a CCA. We dunno when and how many students will join as new members. Also, we dont have a CCA teacher-in-charge or a CCA clubhouse to store logistics.

I was thinking that too, haha.

CCAs usually have the advantage to determine the exact number of members on the beginning of every term, but not so much with us; whose members go in and out in rapid speed. If we buy in large amount, shirts will cost low; but yes, someguyinsg raised the right point: 'who to pay'? If this is really becoming serious, maybe the group will even transform into a non-registered 'organization' of some sort, might as well start collecting member fees lol. But maybe this is too much right now leh, although it's a possible direction.

If this idea is really to be pursued into fruition, I don't mind lending some hand for design works too, if extra helps are needed. =)

Did a number of publicity and promotional works in my courses and CCAs before.

I can establish contacts to vendors who do badges, banners, panels, flyers, etc too; for other considerations in the future.

Come let's think of a tagline :D

'Have you ever seen the other side of a rainbow?'

OMG that's like my codename for the gay people under my msn groups!!

Let's make a 199X T-shirt shall we :)

Can I be the final proofreader, being a current design student and all. I more or less got some idea of a good design. :smokin:

I'm still in the closet... :x Anyway, I can't think of fantastic tagline but just to keep the ball rolling on suggestions.

Tagline:

'I just came out'

'There's no straight path, only narrow one'

'I'm just being myself'

'There's more to me than this piece of fabric'
