It is too much for a person who is not fully ready to embrace himself yet. Parents are gonna question and if friends happen to see my there or in the uploaded photos, I really dont need to attend school anymore. Can just emo in the corner of the room. Perhaps I should just wait for a more low-toned outing...You don't have to go alone. You can don't wear pink if you don't have to. In addition to what CaptainMarvelous have written, it is about the courage that you can gather to go for a once-in-a-time event. Who knows that this event might turn out to be a great motivator/change to your life, especially since you are still in the closet. There ain't any consequences, just need a little faith in yourself. I'm pretty sure there's a few of us here who are out and open, some without a choice or was forced, and still be able to face our parents, attend school, serve in the army and still have earnest friends who supports whoever you are. There's no divine miracle of acceptance that dropped from the sky onto the people around us.
