totally love Total Eclipse by Bonnie Tyler.

If it's MTV then, it'll be considered a Monster Hit.

Ok more Bonnie...Holding out for a hero. It still sounds good.

Saw the latest Brits Got Talent. Backup singers taking the spotlight - Price Tag. I like their version too.

I am liking this! It's too bad she had to feature Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal.

This single taken from her upcoming second album,

debuts at #4 this mid-week in the UK Singles Chart!

And what a drastic transformation from her very first single indeed...

Do It Like A Dude (Explicit) - Jessie J (#2 in Dec 2010)

Any Duran Duran fans out there?

Here's an updated version of their 1982 hit re-released this week....

Hungry Like The Wolf (New York Werewolf Remix) - Steve Aoki Vs Duran Duran

I still prefer the original, classic!

I don't like her debut single, too in your face. Plus it was written with Rihanna in mind, and we all know how raunchy she wants to portray her image.

She has gotten better as she progresses, I feel.

I do agree with you on this.

During the same time, when Jessie J made her debut,

there's this newcomer Katy B who I'm quite fond of too,

too bad she didn't have the same success as Jessie J unfortunately...

Katy On A Mission - Katy B (#5 in Sep 2010)

Broken Record - Katy B (#8 in Apr 2011)

EMF!!! You're so unbelievable.

Duran Duran - wasn't really a fan then but they were charting to the peak in the 80s. I still don't get The Reflex. What does it really mean? Or does it mean anything at all? The melody and production were great though.

But I do have my fave Duran Duran...

Olly Murs!!! Was watching his audition in 2009 and remembered the cute winner Joe McElderry.

His rendition of Telephone (gaga) was very good actually, with Olly moving/dancing in the background.

Tom Odell - WINNER

Here're the 2 singles that Tom Odell has released to date..

Another Love - Tom Odell (#56 in Jan 2013)

Can't Pretend - Tom Odell (#67 in Mar 2013)

It remains to be seen if this first ever male winner will be as big as the past winners like...

Adele (2008), Florence and the Machine (2009), Ellie Goulding (2010), Jessie J (2011) & Emeli Sandé (2012)?

Another_Love-song.jpg

With the video release of this "short film" version of the song Another Love for the US market,

looks like Tom Odell will be having his first Top 20 single in the UK this weekend...

Another Love - Tom Odell

Don't think I'll be a fan of his anytime soon though,

give me Adele, Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J or Emeli Sandé anytime!

Icona Pop is very refreshing. They are like the updated version of Strawberry Switchblade.

Boy George has a very milky voice and he's one of those who can sing any song well...he sounds a bit raspier here though.

PSB - I've been faithfully buying their music. They are coming in August. Anyone watching?
