In her early 20s, she was once crowned 2nd runner up for Miss Penang in 1960 I think. She used to be one of the psychic used by officials.At 78, age weight diabetes have confined her to wheelchair. But that old lady, inspite of going through alot in life, still remain so jovial, witty and positive, as thought there is an endless flow of love and compassion coming from her. Even my friends and ex bfs all like her. Everytime a breakup happens, she would just say..its just an experience the soul needs to go through, to experience greater wisdom,to understand what love is really is.This song is very special between us. Eveything when she could sense that I was sad or feeling down, or being let down by someone, she would pick up the phone, give me a call and sing this song for me just to cheer me up.So for the last 15years, she has being singing this song to me indefatigably. It is really assuring to know , someone still cares and loves you in your life.Seeing old friends and her family surrounding her, makes me think there is so much more important and real things in life, than those numerous ONS, silly heartbreaks, petty arguements and fights on whose right whose wrong, who hurt who, who betrayed who.Seeing her glow like the star on top of a Christmas tree, this realization, is perhaps the greatest gift I received...from someone above. She did it when I was a baby/toddler when I can't sleep. Then she gave me a sign of 4 numbers. So i bought 5 big 5 small the next day. And the number came in first prize....$15k. Not bad !
